This is the first day of your period and cramps hitting you like bricks. For comparism, it feels like your lower abdomen been hit by sackfull of bricks maybe even two.
Your boyfriend, Matt is at work now, as a lawyer not as the other job of him. You're currently sitting in his couch cuddling with your daredevil doll while you wearing his sweatshirt because it makes you feel like being hug by Matt.
Usually you will eat chocolate to help you cure the pain and boost your mood a little but at this moment, you run out of chocolate because you haven't buy it again. It probably because of you and Matt were just so busy lately.
This actually the first time you got your period since you moved in to live with Matt, because of get used to get through this alone, you forgot that your boyfriend has a superhuman sense which can make him smell the dirty blood that comes out of you. You as someone who has normal sense always hate it even that's your own blood, so how about your boyfriend with his superhuman sense?
You immediately get up even the pain still stick on you to light some scented candles to cover your smell, you also spray some air freshener to help the candles cover it. You even get another sheet for him because you're sure the other one already contain your smell.
After you felt more sure that your smell already get covered, you back to the couch and fell asleep with daredevil doll on your embrace.
Matt just finished with his work and got back to his apartment, he could smell very strong vanilla scented from inside even before he open the door. He steps inside to see you curled up in his couch, he adores the view for a moment before gently wake you up to eat some lunch because he know you haven't got any.
"Babe.. hey i brought cheese burger for you." His gentle voice in your ear slowly pull you back from your dreamworld, you open your eyes seeing your boyfriend smiling at you.
"Matt, you're home. Sorry i fell asleep, i'm a bit sleepy." You rub your eyes as you positioned yourself to sit next to him.
"No that's fine, i wouldn't wake you up if i left some food for you to eat." He hand you a bag of cheese burger for you to eat.
You smiles, to be honest you really are so hungry but the cramps hold you from making yourself some lunch.
"Thanks babe. And uh you might want to stay a bit far from me for couple days." You take the cheese burger from his hand before make a distance between the two of you and make sure you're lower body wrapped up very well with the sheets. Hearing that, Matt furrows his eyebrows, he thought he had done something that makes you mad at him.
"Wait why? Did i do something? Can we talk it out? I really didn't mean to hurt you."
"What? No you didn't hurt me. I just don't want you to get close to me because i'm on my period, and i'm sure the smell of dirty blood really disgusting." You quickly cut him to explain, you don't want him to feel that he has hurt you. Your answer get chuckles from your boyfriend.
"Oh so you don't want me to get disturb by your blood? Trust me i didn't feel disturb by that, almost every day i smell blood. Besides, how could i stay away from my girl when she needed me the most?" He move himself closer to you. "Is that why you put so many candles here? To cover the smell?"
"Yes, i thought vanilla scent might could cover the smell of my blood so i put a lot of them. But are you sure? I could sleep here if you want, i don't want to make you uncomfortable." You feel need to make sure, making him uncomfortable is the last thing you ever want.
"I'm sure, i get used to blood since i start to fight around this city." His sweet smile assure you that he really is fine with this. "Why don't you finish your food while i'm changing and we go cuddle? I'm sure the cramps is killing you right now." He loose his tie, waiting for your answer. You just nod because your mouth is full with burger, he chuckles and pat your head before went to change his clothes.
You finish your burger and put away the bag after you drink some water. You quickly went to his room and settle yourself in bed with daredevil doll still in your hand. Matt finish changing his clothes and settle himself on his bed.
"Really? That doll? I thought you hate it." He smiles as he felt the daredevil doll on your hand. "I never say i hate it, i just think the horn is too much." You both chuckles at your answer before he pull you to his embrace and give you a soft pats on your back.
"Take a rest doll, you need it right now." He sweetly kiss your forehead after he said that.
"Love you, hornboy." You mumble before you fell asleep, he just smile hearing that before slowly closing his eyes to follow you to the dream world.
"Love you too, Princess."
