- I feel like you would meet when he was out on a call
- You would’ve greeted him on the Aid Car when it pulled into Grey-Sloan
- Miller commented on the way he looked at you, teasing him with “love at first sight.”
- It would take him weeks of him seeing you at patient passover before he would ask you out
- Usually he wasn’t nervous but this first date was physicing him out. He stuttered and spluttered his words until you burst out laughing at him
- You felt bad at your reaction, and after a quick explanation, you both felt at ease with each other. As if you had known each other with years.
- After a few more dates, and nights spent at each other’s places he asked you to be his girlfriend
- And once the station knew, the teasing increased tenfold
- “ooo Gibsons gone and gotten himself a girlfriend.”
- “Are you sure he’s not blackmailing her”
- “Oh 100%. It’s blackmail.”
- Jack is big on physical touch
- His job is draining for him so coming back to you and you soft touch is a little slice of heaven for him
- Jack’s favourite thing is to come home and to collapse in your arms after a long shift.
- He will try to teach you sign language after he tells you about his childhood and his foster siblings and the fire. He would want to share that’s with you
He also finds it hilarious when you mess up and accidentally say something rude.- After around six months of dating you’d meet everyone at the station as his girlfriend officially.
- Jack would be nervous out of his mind. He knows he’s made mistakes in the past relationship wise but he also knows that the rest of the A-Shift would relentlessly tease him and reveal embarrassing stuff about him
- Jack cancels once or twice but you just end up showing up whilst he was out on Aid Car with Herrera. He comes back to find you and Miller exchanging stories about him and Vic insisting you come back as you brought the good coffee from the farmers market.
- The day he realised he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you he went out to buy an engagement ring. He kept in with him at all times, hoping the perfect moment would appear. It took him three months to realise it wouldn’t happen.
- You were together in bed when he asked as no moment would be as perfect as the ones he spent with you.
