Work Text:

All of this turbulence wasn’t forecasted

Saiki had never asked to have these stupid physic powers. A lot of people might think they’re amazing and in a way they are, but he never got to experience life like a normal person which in the end is all he ever really wanted.

Apologies from the intercom

Anyone who knew of his powers knew he wasn’t exactly fond of them but their an amazing gift and he should be grateful for them, right?

And I am relieved that I’d left my room tidy

Saiki’s room was always clean but today he made sure to leave it extra tidy. He made sure to put everything in its place and to get rid of anything he didn’t want anyone to see.

They’ll think of me kindly when they come for my things

He had hoped that when he was finally gone people would see him as a neat, clean, person and not as a slob. He knew he was never exactly a nice person but he hoped when he was gone the people who he had surrounded himself with would see that deep down he did care.

They’ll never know how I’d stared at the dark in that room

Saiki had spent so many days in his room staring into nothing waiting for someone, anyone, to come and save him from his own thoughts. Yet time after time no one came so he had decided, he knew what he needed to do. He knew he was making the wrong decision but what else could he do?

With no thought like a blood sniffing shark
