Today was a special occasion, and the Tenmas were packing equipment for camping to celebrate for the day.
" Tsukasa! Are you ready? Mom and Dad are already waiting in the car, you know? "
Saki shouted from downstairs.
" Yeah, sorry! I almost forgot my phone that I left on my desk, I'm ready now! "
Tsukasa bolted down the stairs, carrying his bag over one of his shoulders. He and Saki got into the car, and they soon left for their trip.

Meanwhile with the Kamishiros and the Kusanagis, their parents had decided to go together for their trip. It wasn't exactly the quietest trip, as their parents were constantly chatting throughout the ride there. Rui and Nene were off doing their own things, one was sketching out random gadget ideas he had in mind, while the other was just playing video games, but they started chatting occasionally every once in a while.

A few hours later, the Tenmas had reached their destination. While they were in the middle of taking their stuff out of the car, Tsukasa turned around to notice that
His friends had just arrived at the same place he did.
" R-Rui, Nene?! When did you get here? "
He said, in shock. His sister noticed them too.
" Oh, hello Rui-kun, Nene-chan! "
Saki turned around to notice a familiar pink-haired girl.
" Hey, Emu-chan! "
" Emu?! "
" Ah, Tsukasa-kun, Saki-chan, and Emu-kun! What a nice surprise to see you here! "
Rui said, as he smiled at them. Nene just waved.
" Nene-chan!! "
Emu ran towards Nene, and pulled her into a tight hug. Nene gave the other a soft smile after being surprised like that.
Emu then turned towards her friends.
" And hi Rui-kun, Tsukasa-kun and Saki-chan!! I hope you're all super wondahoi today!!! "
The girl was bursting with enthusiasm as always, which was always managed to spread with everyone around her. All their parents gathered and greeted each other, while their sons and daughters were all chatting in one group.
" Hey, why don't we go find a good camping spot for all of us? It'd make our parents do less work around here too! Plus, I think it'll be fun!! We just have to be careful. "
The others took a moment to think about it, but eventually agreed to Saki's proposal.
" Great!! I'll go tell mom and dad that we're gonna set out to find a spot. "

As we skip into the evening, everyone was having a great time, eating food made using the grill, while some making smores near the campfire. Typical camping activities, really.
After a short while, the 5 of them decide to relax in a tent for a bit. They hung out in Saki's tent, but as soon as she got there, she was out like a lamp.
As Saki was sleeping, the four were chatting about rather normal conversation topics, maybe add a few weird ones here and there. Though after a bit, Emu decided to check on how their parents were doing, and brought Nene along with her.
Now it was just Rui and Tsukasa, sitting awkwardly next to each other.
Suddenly, Tsukasa decided to ask the other a question.
" Rui, "
" Hm? "
" Do.. Do you want to uhm... Go stargazing with me? "
Rui looked a little shocked at the fact Tsukasa had just asked to go stargazing with him but he was extremely happy he did.
" Of course, Tsukasa-kun, I thought you'd never ask! Let's get going now then, shall we? "
Tsukasa nodded, and followed the other boy out of the tent. After a few minutes of walking, they found a hill to stargaze on, and proceeded lay down next to each other.
The blonde started to connect the stars with his finger, as the other watched. He then turned his head to face the other, to see that he was looking back at him.
" Hm? Rui, why aren't you looking at the sky and the stars? They're quite beautiful, you know. "
" Oh, you must be mistaken Tsukasa-kun. "
" What do you mean? "
" You see, I'm already looking at one right now. And I do agree, it is a beautiful sight. "
Rui let out of a small chuckle, giving the other a soft smile before turning to look at the sky.
Tsukasa sort of just brushed off his statement, until he realized that it was supposed to be a compliment.
" W-Wait, Rui..!! "
He quickly bolted up and looked at the other with a flustered face, while his face was turning red. Rui just continued to chuckle as Tsukasa started to get all flustered up after realizing what he had said.
