Kairi stretched as the morning light came through the window. As usual, Anita was already up and guessing from the smell, cooking breakfast. She shifted onto her side to find Loba still sleeping next to her. She smiled before wrapping her arms around her gorgeous curves, pulling herself against her lover’s back. A small, content sigh came from her. A smile crept onto Loba’s face as Kairi pressed kisses against her shoulder, neck, and cheek. Loba yawned and stretched before relaxing into Kairi.
“You getting up any time soon princess?” Kairi teased, still peppering gentle kisses anywhere her lips could reach.
“Hmm, yeah I’ll get up in a few.” She mumbled before curling back up against her pillow. Kairi smiled and kissed her cheek one last time before getting up. She threw the blankets back over Loba who grumbled something about giving Anita a kiss for her before stretching again.
Kairi walked out of their bedroom, quietly closing the door behind her. Making her way to the kitchen her stomach rumbled. She hoped breakfast was close to being done.
She entered the kitchen. Anita was playing music quietly and washing dishes in the sink. Kairi walked up behind her and carefully wrapped her arms around her waist. At the start of their relationship, this act would have resulted in an elbow to the face; but now she had grown used to Kairi touching her all the time.
“Mornin’.” Kairi said, the statement coming out muffled as she had her face pressed against Anita’s back. Anita laughed and set down the dishes she was washing.
“Good morning, Loba getting up?” Anita asked, turning around to face her.
Kairi shrugged, letting go and looking up at her girlfriend.
“Who knows, she told me to give you this though.” Kairi said before throwing her arms around Anita’s neck and kissing her.
She tensed only for a moment before relaxing, kissing her back. Once they broke away from one another, Anita laughed.
“Do I get a good morning kiss from you too or not?” She asked, a glitter in her eyes.
Kairi’s eyes lit up, and she proceeded to kiss her again. Once content, she let go and let Anita go back to what she was doing.
“You need any help.”
“Nope, just washing the last few dishes, help yourself, but leave some for everyone else you god-damn bottomless pit.”
“Ha, no promises.” She teased, making herself a plate.
“I’m starting to think you might be the black hole Dr. Sommers escaped from.” Anita smirked, setting the drying towel down and fixing herself a plate as well. Kairi laughed.
“What did I miss?” Loba appeared in the hall behind them, looking groggy.
“Just Anita bullying me.”
“ Oh really , I was bullying you.” Anita asked raising an eyebrow. Loba smiled and walked over to the counter, placing a kiss on Kairi’s cheek.
“Somehow I have a feeling you deserved it.” Loba giggled and then walked over to Anita. Kairi huffed and pouted as she watched the two of them kiss.
“I’ve never done anything wrong, ever.” She declared before shoving a fork full of eggs into her mouth.
The other two just laughed. Kairi smiled. Looking back to when she joined the games and the shit show that proceeded, she never would have guessed this is where she would end up; She wouldn’t have it any other way.
