Oh, Ochako
Your cheeks are round and pink like mochi.
And your personality is sweet like your favorite flavor of said desert, strawberry mochi.

Oh, Ochako
Your bob hair is brown like chocolate.
And your eyes are the same too.
Despite your plain appearance, you are the prettiest.

Oh, Ochako
Your smile is as bright as the sun.
It makes me happy and makes my heart squeeze. You always know how to make any situation fun.

Oh, Ochako
This is so embarrassing.
But it is true that you are my favorite.

Notes:

I’m going to be real here. I have no experience in writing poetry lol. Unless those “I am” poems we do every year in middle school counts. Yes, I tagged it as a love poem because I have a crush on Ochako, deal with it. Also, I might only ever post again if they give us another writing assignment like this. It’s nearing to the end of the school year though so I doubt it. Goodbye for ever, again.
