Jo’s not sure when she first realized. She still isn’t sure really; it’s not like there was a sudden revelation or a glaring mistake.
When it comes down to it, Beth is still Beth. She’s just…a different Beth. That’s probably why it took Jo so long to realize it. What makes a person who they are, anyway?
Beth is still kind, caring and full of love. She just happens to be someone else. Jo supposes she should feel something about the situation, and she does. She’s grateful to still have her sister, even if her sister is a stranger.
