The garden of the Sol Castle is always the most beautiful place Blaze always visits to. The smell of the flowers always make Blaze stress-free from princess duties and being the guardian of the Sol Emeralds.
Blaze then sees Sonic over by where the roses are. She walks over there to see what Sonic is staring at. She notices some of the roses are dead. "Sonic, is there a reason why you are staring at dead roses?"
"Not sure. I guess I kind of feel bad for the roses that died. Your gardeners are pretty bad at gardening, ya know?" Sonic gives one of his usual grins at Blaze.
"I didn't know you were so fond of flowers."
"When you get to travel around the world with super speed, you get to enjoy some things you never knew you like."
"I see."
"So, what should we do with them? Do we throw them away or-"
"There's no need for that, Sonic. Allow me." Blaze raises her hand up and summons a fireball, which made Sonic's eyes widen by the sight of it.
"Um, Blaze, I don't think it's a good idea to use your fire power in front of the plants."
"It's fine, Sonic, just trust on this."
Sonic, for the first time since, probably never, is hesitant, but he gives Blaze a nod. "Okay."
Blaze places the fireball on one of the dead roses and then moves her hand in circles causing the fireball to turn into a fire wave and touching all of the dead roses. Soon the dead roses are nothing more than just ashes.
"Sonic, help me spread the ashes around the roses."
"Okay" Sonic and Blaze spread the ashes around the roses. "Care to explain why we're spreading ashes of the dead roses around the very much alive roses?"
"I've learned that you can use the ashes as fertilizer so they can grow more quality."
"Huh. So the princess of the Sol Dimension knows about gardening."
"I'm not much of a gardener, but I guess you can say that."
Sonic stays silence for a bit as he and Blaze has finished spreading the ashes of the roses around. Later, he plucks one rose out and places it on Blaze's ear. Blaze looks at Sonic in confusion.
"A rose for a pretty princess." He said, smiling.
Blaze feels her cheeks warm a bit when Sonic said that, but then smiles a bit. "Thank you."
Sonic winks at her. "No problem."
