Linda was Danny’s brightest light and that he would always believe she had believed he could do anything and that is what has helped him get through so much stuff from his time with the Marines to his time as a cop to being a father and husband to everything in between he knew without a doubt she was his guiding light and that is why he can still do it today even without her cause she was now his guarding angel and his cheerleader in heaven just waiting for him to finish his time on earth so they can be together again.
