"Are you alright kindred?" The soothing voice of their lord drifted in their ear as they stared blankly into nothing. Giving a little whimper they burried their face in his chest and listened to the faint sound of his heart beat as he played with their hair.
Kindred said nothing as they listened to the sounds of the night. Nuzzling at Vox's chest, they let out another tiny whimper. "There, there sweetheart.. It's alright, close your eyes. I'm right here sweet thing." They could hear the smile in his voice and if they had look at his face they would see the soft smile they're so fond of.
They let out a small whine as they slowly drift off to sleep. Their lord gives their forehead a gentle kiss and a soft wisper of goodnight.
