Korra isn’t a big fan of makeup. Every time she wore makeup, it felt like she was wearing an uncomfortable, greasy mask. She admired how other women expressed their style with it, but she could never understand why they liked to put it on their face when it felt like that. Looking at Asami apply her daily makeup through her powder room’s large wall mirror, Korra pondered about this.
“How can you stand wearing makeup every day?” Korra asked, attracting Asami’s attention.
“I like it. It makes me feel more confident,” Asami replied, making brief eye contact with Korra through the mirror before returning her attention to her own face.
“But doesn’t it feel like you have a second face on? An uncomfortable one at that,” Korra said with a grimace.
“In the beginning, I guess.” Asami laughed lightly and met Korra’s eyes through the mirror once more. She stared intensely into Korra’s eyes as she applied red lipstick to her lips. Korra’s state of mind flipped from mildly bored to aroused in an instant. She perked up on her seat and then quickly stood up when she saw that Asami had finished applying her lipstick and was now walking over to where she was sitting. Korra stared, dumbfounded, as Asami walked over to her, hips swinging and eyes smoldering.
She barely registered when Asami continued, “But, like with all things, you get used to it.”
“I find that hard to believe,” Korra said, looking away from Asami’s eyes since the eye contact made her too flustered to think clearly. Asami chuckled and turned Korra’s face towards her own by placing a hand on the right side of Korra’s chin. She then placed her other hand on the back of Korra’s neck and the closeness of Asami’s body caused Korra to instinctively grasp Asami’s waist. Asami leaned in and closed the gap between Korra and her lips. Asami moved her lips in a slow, but passionate pace and Korra reciprocated, ignoring her wildly beating heart and the springing sensations in her stomach. Asami separated their lips first.
“Another one,” Korra said in a low voice, her eyes still closed. Asami smirked and closed the distance once more. This time she kissed her with a little more force, tangling her fingers in Korra’s bob. This went on for a few seconds before Asami separated from Korra once more.
“Another,” Korra said huskily as she pushed Asami against her and kissed her once more. Korra became more assertive this time around, cupping Asami’s ass with one of her hands and moving from Asami’s lips to her chin and then to her neck. Asami gasped and faced away in order to give Korra more access to her neck.
“We’re going to be late to dinner with the gang again,” Asami said breathily, her hands gripping Korra’s hair.
“They’ll be fine without us,” Korra answered gruffly. Korra’s right hand searched for the zipper of Asami’s red dress, but Asami stopped her by placing a firm hand on her shoulder.
“As much as I’m loving this, I promised Opal that we would make it on time,” Asami insisted, her eyes dark with arousal and her voice breathy. Korra pouted, but respected Aasmi’s wishes and stepped back. Korra looked at Asami and noticed that they had managed to smear Asami’s lipstick all over her mouth and a little bit on her neck. Korra was going to make a comment on it when Asami started rubbing the skin on her lips and around her lips with her thumb. Korra saw the look of amusement on Asami’s face and looked behind Asami, where the mirror was, to see that her face was also covered in red lipstick. Korra looked back at Asami’s eyes and they shared a laugh.
Asami continued rubbing Korra’s chin and lips with her thumb until she gave up and said, “This is definitely going to need some makeup remover.”
“We might just be a tiny bit late then,” Korra commented in an amused tone as she watched Asami retrieve some type of wipes from a drawer under the large mirror.
“It’s an improvement,” Asami said with a laugh. As Korra watched Asami wipe her face delicately, she thought to herself that she didn’t mind having makeup on her face as long as it came from Asami’s lips.
