Xiao and Albedo have never been that close until it turned out their boyfriends were great friends and would go to parties together.
Xiao was an introvert just as albedo is. The two of them stay to themselves and prefer to have minimal human reaction with others unless it’s school or jobs. They had far more in common than they expected. It happened on a day that their boyfriends decided it would be good to meet each others boyfriends.
Aether and Albedo already knew each other from highschool. They got along fairly well so it was nice to see an old friend yet none of them seemed to know Xiao but Aether. Kaeya personally thought that Xiao came off as a total dick while Albedo felt some kind of connection with him. It just felt that the two of them clicked a way. They knew it would be a great friendship.
It was one of those days their boyfriends were at a party together. Xiao was lonely and so was Albedo which led to Albedo going to Xiao’s place. He’s never seen such a beautiful place before and loved everything going on in it. It seemed that Xiao enjoyed the arts just as much as albedo did. All the traditional art on his walls was honestly beautiful.
“You look amazed by my decorations.. or maybe surprised.. is there a problem with them, albedo?” Xiao asked. His voice monotone.
It seemed Albedo had a voice somewhat like that too which always made Xiao feel good about himself. “There is no problem at all actually. May I ask what is your culture?”
“I am Chinese. What about you?” Xiao asked.
“I’m Norwegian.” Albedo stated.
The two of them nodded at each other and had a comfortable silence. Xiao couldn’t help but examine Albedo. He noticed that the other male had a cute chubby body. He felt slight jealousy of how comfortable Albedo seemed to be with having that body. He bit his tongue not saying anything. He looked over at the wall and sighed.
“I can tell something is bothering you, Xiao. You can always be open to me. As your friend, I care about your feelings.” Albedo stated as he turned his full attention to Xiao. He wasn’t exactly fat but he wasn’t skinny. He really was a nice chubby guy.
“Ah.. uhm.. would you like something to eat?” Xiao didn’t know how to ask somebody how they feel so comfortable with their body.
Albedo nodded and the two of them headed to the kitchen. It seemed Xiao was warming something up in a cooker.
He showed the dish to Albedo and placed it on the table. “This is Xiǎolóngbāo or small basket buns. It is usually filled with pork but I prefer to use crab meat. I hope you don’t mind the food I picked.”
Albedo has always been curious about other cultures. He took a seat at the table and so did Xiao.
Xiao took his chopsticks and began to evenly distribute them onto their plates. He did give albedo a little more through. “You can use a fork, Albedo.” He smiled softly at him. Seeing Xiao smile was something that wasn’t seen often when he wasn’t with Aether.
The blondes heart fluttered as he saw Xiao smile. “Thank you for the food.” He told him and began to eat.
Xiao nodded and began to eat his own. He ate slowly as he wanted to savor the taste. He still felt so envious of Albedo. He knew their boyfriends had common things though. Aether always tried to make him eat a lot of different dishes while it seemed Kaeya had just been trying to fatten up Albedo. He almost felt bad for him honestly or would if Albedo didn’t look so happy about his weight.
“How do you do it..” Xiao asked.
Albedo swallowed down one of the buns in his mouth then tilted his head at Xiao. “Do what exactly?” He was confused.
“You’re so confident with yourself. You eat what you please and you look so happy while eating. It’s like you have no shame.” Xiao frowned.
This felt more like an insult than a question but, Albedo would take it. “Honestly, Kaeya helped me through it. I used to struggle with a restrictive eating disorder and whenever I did feel I ate too much.. I would throw it up and not eat for days. I was incredibly unhealthy and unhappy. Kaeya and some friends helped me realize that It’s okay to enjoy yourself. I find most comfort in eating with others.” He smiled thinking about all the meals he’s shared with Kaeya. “You need to find the person you want to share a meal with.”
Xiao nodded and looked at Albedo, “that person is you. I am so glad you are enjoying the food of my culture. It’s greatly appreciated.” He may no longer be smiling but, his eyes showed how much appreciation and care he had.
“It’s no problem at all. I hope to be able to share some food of my culture with you next.” Albedo ate another bun, the flavors being so overwhelming yet perfect. “You’re a great cook by the way.”
Xiao blushed softly. “Thank you. I’ve been helping my parents cook since I was a child. It seems I did manage to do some improving on my own.” He said as he ate another one of his buns.
The two soon finished up their meals. They both felt fairly satisfied.. not just from the food they ate but with each other’s company. Xiao felt confident enough to finish off his entire plate. He sat on the couch with the blonde and simply relaxed with him.
He found it funny how albedo’s stomach made certain noises when albedo moved or breathed a certain way. He could hear a small burp escape him yet said nothing. His head resting against Albedo’s stomach as he tried to get some rest.
Albedo ran his fingers through Xiao’s hair. He hummed softly as he did. It was very therapeutic for him.
Xiao was glad to be laying on such a soft stomach. He could hear all the food being digested which was somewhat gross yet.. he enjoyed this. He moved his head a little bit as he yawned softly.
“Does it hurt your stomach for me to be laying on it?” Xiao asked, wanting his friend to feel comfortable.
Albedo shook his head, “no.. of course not. It’s nice actually.” His stomach growled which nearly scared the crap out of Xiao.
“Would you like something else to eat? If the buns weren’t enough.. you could’ve just said so. I won’t judge you for your eating.” Xiao promised as he sat up. He stretched his arms and got off the couch. “Any requests of what you would like?”
Albedo shrugged as his stomach growled again. His cheeks turning a bright pink from embarrassment. He wishes that he could tell his stomach to shut up or something.
“No need to feel embarrassed, Albedo. I could warm you up some leftovers from this restaurant I went to.. if you don’t mind. I didn’t eat much of it. I believe it’s a chicken Parmesan.” He put it on a plate and began to microwave it. He waved his hand for Albedo to come into the kitchen.
Albedo sat at the table, making sure to watch Xiao. He felt a little bit anxious for some reason or it may be embarrassment. His stomach did let out some nasty growls earlier. What can be more embarrassing than that.
He watched as Xiao placed the plate in front of him with some Parmesan cheese. He wouldn’t watch Albedo eat as to not make him uncomfortable. He laid back down on the couch.
“Come back whenever you finish. If you can’t finish it all, that’s fine.” Xiao told him from the other room.
Albedo began to eat in response to this. He felt so embarrassed.. just having a meal and now needing something else to fill him up. All that Kaeya’s been feeding him has really started to rub off on him. He thought these leftovers were so good too.
The sound of Albedo eating could be heard from the living room. After 15 minutes, the blonde came to the couch. Xiao moved his head and got up from laying down.
Once albedo had gotten comfortable, he laid his head on Albedo’s stomach yet again. “Something feels different this time. Did you overeat? Was your stomach meant to eat the leftovers? I apologize for overfeeding you.” Xiao mumbled.
“The leftovers were just fine. They were amazing actually. What’s different is the fact that I’m stuffed.” Albedo felt so embarrassed by Xiao’s reaction. His stomach gurgled lowly as he thought more into it.
Xiao nodded and understood. “It is much like a balloon.. is it not?” He sat up, looking closer at Albedo’s stomach. “Ah yes. It looks quite bloated. Would you mind if I rubbed?”
Albedo felt his face heat up. He really did love belly rubs. He eagerly nodded at Xiao.. watching the male begin to rub and massage his stomach. He relaxed on his touch. He felt so relieved that his dear friend would do this for him.
The skin was soft yet hard. It was clear that Albedo did eat quite the amount. The sweater Albedo wore was pulled up by Xiao. The shorter male looked closer at Albedo’s stomach and began to rub areas of discomfort. He mostly went for the belly button and the sides of Albedo’s stuffed stomach. He never thought he would be rubbing a friends stomach because they were full yet here he is now.
Albedo shivered as he felt his hands on his skin. He stifled a few burps trying to seem like someone who had decent manners. He swore that he was. His stomach seemed to have a mind of it’s own which is completely embarrassing. He wished that he could just control what it did. Once Xiao’s hands went under his belly, he couldn’t help it.
A deep belch escaped a certain someone who’s name was Albedo. His face immediately turned red as he quickly covered his mouth. “Excuse me, Xiao.” He mumbled.
Xiao genuinely laughed at this. “It is alright. I’m glad you have manners, Albedo.” He pat his head.
The blonde blushed softly, he knew he shouldn’t had touched the leftovers. It’s not his fault his tummy was hungry. He wanted Kaeya to pick him up and bring him to bed. He wasn’t with Kaeya and had been stuck with his boyfriends friends boyfriend. He saw Xiao as a friend too, of course.
“This is a compliment. Honestly, you seemed like the type of person to just belch.. I am myself actually.” Xiao felt sharing this would make Albedo feel a bit better about it.
“Ah, really?” He asked and Xiao nodded.
“One time on a date with Aether, I finished my drink and suddenly a belch left my mouth. I didn’t excuse myself because I felt there’s no need. It’s just your body reactions and I should be comfortable enough to do that around my boyfriend, right?” Xiao was curious.
“Yeah.. I’m very comfortable with my boyfriend.” He blushed softly, looking away. “Thanks for the food, Xiao. My stomach has been satisfied.”
“I can tell.” Xiao laughed softly as he rubbed Albedo’s stomach in circles…
Aether and Kaeya came to Xiao’s place assuming that’s where their boyfriends would be. They walked in to see Albedo passed out on the couch and Xiao was fast asleep with his head on Albedo’s stomach.
Kaeya picked up Albedo which led to Xiao reached for him, barely awake. “Give em back..” Xiao mumbled as he fell asleep again. He didn’t appreciate the fact that it seemed his friend was being stolen from him.
Albedo woke up for a few moments and looked at Kaeya. He hugged him and kissed his cheek. “Kaeya.. I’m so sleepy. My tummy is full.” He mumbled as he rested his head on his shoulder. He was barely awake though yet awake enough. He waved at Xiao and Aether as Kaeya took him out the apartment.
He helped Albedo into the car and buckled his seat belt for him. Seeing him so tired was such a cute thing to see. He’d make sure to lay albedo in bed once they got home.
“Bedo, how ya feeling? What made your tummy full?” Kaeya asked as he began to drive home. It was a fair walking distance so he would assume Albedo walked here because his car was nowhere to be seen.
“…Xiao made dinner but I was still hungry. He gave me some other food and I ate it all. Made my tummy full.” He mumbled as he tried to get more comfortable in the seat. “When we gonna get home Kaeya..”
“Oh hush. We’re almost there. Just a few more minutes, sleeping beauty.” Kaeya teased.
“Mhm. We’re gonna lay down and sleep..” Albedo began to doze off yet again. He was happy to have spent time with Xiao.
