Arale is friends with all the kaiju.

Red is a kaiju.

Therefore, Arale is friends with Red. QED.

I mean, think about it. Have you ever seen Not-Gigan and King Nikochan in the same room together?

Also, why isn't Zach in the picture? Because Red's got a poop stick and...

...Zach has had enough of Red's shit.

On a more serious note, if you asked me what my favorite story Toriyama ever penned was, as much as he's written... it's My Toilet Paper. Like I wouldn't even hesitate to answer that it's My Toilet Paper. It uses the structure of the hero's journey and the language of an old epic to tell the daunting tale of... some guy going to the convenience store to buy some toilet paper. And it's funny. Which is why I referenced it in this pic.
