Inoo Kei has been in acting industry since he was a teen so he has established himself as a renowned actor, adding to that is his beautiful face and pale complexion. He is also praised for his nice character on and off the camera proven by his co-stars and film staffs so when a ranking was made thru surveys, he has become the 'No. 1 Celebrity I Want to Date' for two consecutive years.
While waiting at his dressing room all dressed up for his role, he saw the magazine that published the rankings. He grabs it and looked for the page that shows the rankings. He smiles to himself as he expects his name to be on the number 1 spot but to his dismay the name with the biggest font was not him.
“Nakajima Yuto?! Who the hell is that!” he exclaimed as he double checks the rank and indeed, it was not his name on number 1. He saw his name below the unfamiliar guy's name on the second spot. “This is absurd!” he frantically closed the magazine and put it back in the table. His manager suddenly knocked on the door to let him know that he is being called to the set. He took a deep breath first to clear out his frustration before answering back, “Yes, Yabu-san. I'm ready to go”. He smiled to himself in the mirror before heading out. His manager's usual smiling face greeted him as he opened the door. He greeted him politely then he was guided towards the set and met the director.
The filming is rolling smoothly with no double takes since the actor is Inoo Kei after all. The director announced a short break after an hour so Inoo took a seat and politely asked for a bottled water from Yabu. His manager left him for awhile to get it. Not long after, a handsome smiling guy wearing dark sunglasses suddenly stood in front of him and handed him a bottled water, “Here, you can have this”.
“Oh, thank you” Inoo thanked him and opened the bottle to drink. He noticed the guy watches his every move so he felt kinda awkward. “Ahm, is there anything on my face?” he asked as he lightly palmed his cheek wondering if his make up needs retouch or something. “So cute~” the guy complimented while covering his mouth with his hand.
Inoo wondered what's cute about what he did so he raised a brow. “Ah, no! It's not like that. I'm not mocking you or anything. By the way, let me introduce myself. I'm Nakajima Yuto, nice to meet you Inoo-san” the guy gestured for a handshake but Inoo looked a little surprise.
Nakajima Yuto... Wait a minute! This guy is the one who beat me on the ranking?!
“Inoo-san?” Yuto asked because Inoo looked really surprised when he introduced himself. “Sorry, I just remembered something. I'm Inoo Kei, nice to meet you too” Inoo smiled at him back and accepted the handshake.
Not far from them, two female staffs were talking about the latest ranking. “Have you seen the ranking? Inoo-san was not the no. 1 anymore!” the girl in black said. “Eh?! No way! Who's the new no. 1?” the other girl asked. “It was the rookie actor, Nakajima Yuto-san!” the former answered and when they both noticed Inoo and Yuto watching them from afar, they bowed at the two actors and walked away.
“I heard you beat me to no.1. Congratulations!” Inoo started the conversation again. Yuto knoticed his forced smile and immediately protested “I think they have mistaken the numbers, it should be you Inoo-san. It's weird because I'm still a newbie in the industry” he scratched his head while smiling.
“No really, it's fine. It's just rankings. By the way, do you have a business here?” Inoo politely asked as he offered the seat next to him which Yuto declined while smiling. “Oh, nothing really. I just wondered around here since we have an hour break from set”.
“Looks like you don't need this anymore, Inoo-san” Yabu came back with a bottled water on hand. “Pardon me, I already gave him water” Yuto bowed to apologize. “No, it's okay Yabu-san. Thank you. Would you like to take it, Nakajima-san? I bet the one you handed me is for yours to drink instead”.
Yuto received it thankfully from Yabu then the manager introduced himself. Not long after a man in suits worriedly walked to towards them apologizing “Excuse me, I'm Yaotome Hikaru, his manager. Nakajima-san. The director wants to talk with you about the script.” the newly arrived man introduced then Yabu also introduced Inoo and himself. After a while, Yuto and Hikaru bid them goodbye.
“So that's Nakajima Yuto. Tall, handsome and charming~” Yabu singed as they watch them walked out from the set. Inoo didn't say anything but on his mind, he's still asking why that guy took the number 1 spot easily from him. The assistant director called out to them to resume their filming so Inoo immediately cleared out his thoughts and to walk back to the set.
Months have passed since their first encounter and he noticed that Yuto keeps visiting him on his drama set whenever he has free time. They conversed and talked about various things. Inoo admits that the other guy is fun to talk to because he has lots of hobbies that interests him. His body is not athletic or active type but he likes adventures so he sometimes go island hopping and mountain climbing on his long days off.
It's Valentine's Day, he received lots of gifts from fans and celebrity friends that were sent to his agency. Since he got his own office, the flowers were placed nicely around his room while the gifts were on the long sofa but a blue letter envelop placed on his office table catches his attention. He took it and reads the back of the envelop.
To: Inoo Kei-san
From: Nakajima Yuto
His brows furrowed in confusion and opened the letter. He wonders what Nakajima Yuto is thinking when he sent this letter.
Dear Inoo-san,
I know you're wondering what this letter is for but to tell you everything, please meet me at the Blue Royal Rose restaurant in Ginza tonight at 8pm. I have attached the complete address on this letter for your reference. Please let me know if you already have a planned meeting somewhere else.
Thank you very much and hoped to see you tonight! （^∀^）

Inoo unconsciously smiled upon seeing the emoji. “He's cute~” he commented and noticed that there was no contact info in the letter. “And an airhead too. How do I tell you I can't come just in case?” he laughed. “Or he intentionally did so I won't have a choice but to meet him? Clever, Nakajima Yuto” he deducted.
He decided to call Yabu if he has any appointment that day and was told he's free after 6pm. “I guess having a fancy dinner on Valentine's Day is not bad” he said. “Maybe he's going to introduce me to his sister or friend who is a fan. Well, it's fan service so why not~”.
He arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes earlier and was guided to a VIP room by the restaurant manager. The manager politely excused himself by the door upon their arrival. Inoo knocked and heard Yuto's voice. He heard footsteps walking towards the door before it was opened.
“Inoo-san, I'm so glad you came!” Yuto greeted him, Inoo only smiled at him. He was invited in and he was left in awe as he scans inside. There are blue curtains around the room and LED lights on the roof that twinkles like stars. The view outside the glass wall overlooking the city was astonishing. The round table at the center has white lace table cloth but with blue roses on top.
Blue roses? I remember someone telling me it symbolizes love at first sight...
He was guided to his seat then Yuto took his afterwards. Inoo couldn't stop admiring the setting of the room “You have a nice preference on themes like this. It's really fascinating”.
“I'm glad you like it” Yuto seems delightful when he noticed Inoo enjoying his efforts for this.
“By the way, are you going to introduce me to someone? It's gotta be a close person to you for you to set this up for us” Inoo asked. “Actually...” Yuto started as he stands from his seat and walks to Inoo's side. Inoo is still clueless what is happening right now. Yuto flashes his perfect smile and kneels like he's going to propose. He took Inoo's right hand gently with both hands.
“What-”
“Inoo Kei-san, I would like to ask for your permission to court you” Yuto proposed making Inoo blinked a few times.
“Eh?” Inoo could only blinked confusely.
Wait a minute!!!! He's joking, right?! Why... why is he asking me that? And why is he like proposing a marriage instead? Wait, this is not right! We're both guys! And actors too! No! This isn't real. Is this a prank or something? Where's the camera? I need to find a hidden camera!
Inoo stands and tries to search the room to find a camera then he heard Yuto chuckling. “Why are you laughing?” he asked. Yuto stands and slowly walked towards him, Inoo walking backwards nervously but his back reaches the wall.The tall guy kabedon-ed him and Inoo widen his eyes in discbelief. Never in his life someone did this gesture to him! It's always him who would do this to his leading lady.
“This is not a prank or anything, Inoo-san.” Yuto used his serious voice while looking at Inoo's eyes. “Then what is this, Nakajima-san?” Inoo asked, his mind still wary of what is happening. The tall guy, gently took his hand and kissed it, making Inoo blush like a tomato.
“Let me please ask you again. Will you allow me to court you, Kei?” Inoo blushed more when Yuto said his first name. He tries to push him gently on his chest but the tall guy would not move away.
“You know very well that I'm a guy, right?” Inoo asked slowly, Yuto nodding while smiling at him. “And you know I'm a famous sought-after actor too” Yuto still nodding nevertheless.
“Then why?”
“Because I like you. And maybe it's not just 'like', I've been harboring this feelings for you since a year ago” he explained as he caress his hair lovingly.
“We met a year ago?” Inoo blinked at him again, he could not remember meeting him a year ago. All he knows is that time he handed him a bottled water a few months ago.
“Yes, but I was only starting back then. It was my first time acting, it was a minor role in your starring drama but you helped me” the taller guy explained, he kissed his hand again.
“I did? How?” Inoo wondered as he tilted his head slighly.
“I felt uneasy back then because I got scolded by the director then you handed me a bottled water and gave me some tips in acting while you're on break” when Inoo heard that, he finally remembered it. “Oh, you were that blue shirt guy?” Yuto nodded and smiled widely because he finally remembered.
“But wait, are you telling me you like me since then? We're both guys! How are you attracted to a guy when you're so handsome and even chosen by most girls as their boyfriend?” Inoo confusely asked.
“I don't really care about that”
“Eh?”
“Because what's important is you. I like you, Kei” Yuto confessed again making Inoo cover his face embarassingly. “Please stop calling me by first name, I haven't given permission yet!”
“Then, your answer please?” Yuto took his hands to see his face again.
“I...”
“Hmm?”
“If you really like me, I can't stop what you feel about me. I won't stop you from doing anything either-” Yuto cut him and pulled him into his arms, “Really? Yatta! Then can I kiss you now?”. Yuto leaned closer to him and looked at him in the eyes.
“Ehhh? What-” Inoo could not continue as Yuto already went closer and placed a kiss on Inoo's lips. It was short but Inoo admits on his mind, he likes his warmth.
“I'm so glad you accepted my feelings!” feeling so happy, Yuto hugged him again. He noticed Inoo not reacting so he asked as he put his hands on his shoulders “Kei? What's the matter?”.
“Why did you do that?” Inoo covers his mouth with the back of his hand.
“What? Kissing you? You said you won't stop me from doing anything to you just awhile ago” Yuto explained while grinning.
“I didn't mean literally anything, you dumb!” Inoo whacked his head lightly.
“Is that so? But I won't apologize for it. I've been yearning to do that for a long time!” Yuto kabedon-ed him again and Inoo's face turned red again.
“But still...”
“You're red as a tomato right now” he teased but received another light whack on his head. “It's because of you, stupid!”.
“Call me Yuto please” he requested, leaning to him slowly.
“Nakajima-san” Inoo looked to his side, not wanting to face him.
“Yuto!” the taller insisted.
“Nakajima...-san” Inoo mumbled.
“Yuto or I'll do more than I did awhile back” he whispered on his ear making Inoo shiver.
“Nakaji-” he couldn't finish anymore because Yuto cupped his face and captured his lips for the second time. He tried to protest but it only give the taller a chance to kiss him deeper with his tongue. Inoo is getting confused because he is starting to give in to the kiss and responds to him. He unconsciously kisses him back while wrapping his arms on his neck. It feels different getting lead by someone while kissing because he's always the one in control on his acting roles. He realized that kissing a guy is different with a woman, now he feels like the girl on this relationship. Wait a minute, relationship? He should not call it that yet, they are just starting. But maybe just maybe, this is a sign for him to be in a real relationship. Being a famous personality since younge made him build up a huge wall around him in order to keep his image and reputation that is why the thought of having a relationship with someone is not yet on his mind. He had rumors of dating his co-stars but there was no concrete evidences found so the gossips disappeared fast.
When they parted, Yuto placed his forehead on his as they stare at each other. Yuto lovingly smiles at him, making Inoo smile back. The tall guy gets amazed again on how beautiful Inoo Kei is.
“I'm gonna keep making you smile like this so I hope you won't push me away” Yuto promised and they shared another lovely kiss.
