Huge thanks to avychu for allowing me to read their amazing story! This story is such a great look into Kokichi's struggles from the perspective of Shuichi. The idea of Kokichi, even on the verge of a breakdown, trying to protect himself with lies is so realistic and Shuichi doing his best to comfort the other without overstepping any bounds is really sweet.

Notes:
Thank you so much for listening. This story contained a character who breaks down but tries to keep it in. I did my best to try and capture that fear, desperation and vulnerability. I really hope that comes across in the lines as it's a bit of a departure from how I normally do Ouma.
