Chapter Text
One evening, there was a young girl eating lunch, this girl's name was Wiltshire. She was neatly dressed and had long tame blonde hair, and a strong British accent. She sat there and blew on her soup impatiently, however, in the corner of her eye, she saw a cat make its way to the town. Then a while after seeing one, she saw another, and then another-they just kept coming and Ms. Shire knew something was up, she went to the nearby merchants and tried to explain what she saw, however she was laughed at and dismissed as imaginative and delusional. She was not delusional-she knew what she saw-! A loud clashing noise was heard behind her, it was one of the booths-everything that was on it fell and the owner was cowering on the wall. The cats did not know what was going on, their intent was never to hurt anyone. Quickly, the townsfolk tried to capture the cats which made them scared and they then started attacking. Wiltshire was beyond confused, 'was her town insane?' she thought, 'these are just some lame cats, why are you all afraid??'. She didn't care much for the people since they never really cared for her, but she wasn't going to sit around and watch these idiots get attacked by easily harmable cats. She slowly walked towards the pack of them and bent down, took a can of fish from nearby, and opened it. Wiltshire then proceeded to throw it back near the forest where they came from and ran the opposite way.
They were gone.
The townsfolk cheered and whistled like she had just saved the world from pure doom and destruction, which really is a stretch. People came up to her and started saying things like, 'Oh-you are so good with animals, darling!' or 'I'm allergic to cats so you just saved me from a week of allergy medicine!', oh please, it was nothing. She had no reaction to this and went on to go finish her lunch, which had been slightly cooled due to her absense from it.
But this was all in the past, and let's be honest it's getting slightly boring.
Wiltshire was older now, thinking back on her "heroic" past, she honestly thought it was really lame, 'what a great origin story!', she thought. Ms. Shire now lives alone and travels frequently. She misses her family, and she's been looking for them for quite a while now, it's been forever since she's seen them, last time she did, was when she was a small girl. Wiltshire didn't have much friends growing up, but she did have Ahnri. Ahnri was her best friend, and her only friend, they never really got along the best, but they made with what they had. Wiltshire has gifted her many things, such as buttons and friendship bracelets, Ahnri loved these things dearly-but she wonders what it would be like if Wiltshire was an easier person to get along with. Wiltshire and Ahnri haven't seen each other since they were young, if we're being honest-Wiltshire forgot about her.
