“You know how girls like men with broad shoulders?” Josh’s head laid comfortably on Justin’s shoulder as he drew little circles on the latter's arm, sighing softly in content. "You’re definitely included in that list.”
“Really?” Justin chuckled before continuing. “I assume I’m the ‘men with broad shoulders’."
Josh smiled that beautiful angelic smile Justin always loved looking at. The one that can keep him up at night, wondering what he did right in his life to have someone as kind and ethereal as his boyfriend. “Yeap. Lean and broad shouldered men makes them feel safe and protected. It actually is a bit comfortable when they lay their heads, you know?” Josh couldn’t help the grin from showing on his face, the happiness threatening to pour out of his body in the form of bright streaks of light. “Yours are just right, it’s perfect for me. Just like a perfect fit, and I love it.”
Justin could feel the light from Josh, how his face would brighten up, eyes squinting, cheeks puffing up, revealing his bright smile. His happiness influencing him and how contagious that breathtaking smile of his is. He briefly wonders if this was how Peter Pan felt when he first met Wendy. He reached out to carve his fingers through Josh’s soft silky raven hair, sighing in content at how blessed he is for having someone precious and gorgeous as him. “Just like now?”
Josh hummed in response, leaning towards his hand, chasing his warmth and the feeling of fingers carding through his hair. “Just like now.”
“Well, not right now because you’re not a girl.”
Josh sat up, eyes blazing as he looked at Justin who was attempting to hide the grin he was sporting on his face. “Ugh, why do you always ruin cheesy romantic stuff?!”
Justin’s brows furrowed as he tried to think how he ruined such a peaceful moment they had but nothing came to mind. His chuckles were poorly concealed and betrayed his face though. “I do not.”
Josh ruffled his hair and tried pulling them out, groaning out loud. “Ugh! Yes, you do!” He scrunched his nose, trying to bite back his quips and sighed a little. “But I’ll forgive you because I really do love your broad shoulders.” He huffed as he laid back his head on Justin’s shoulder.
“Just my strong, lean and broad shoulder?” Justin grinned as he interlaced his fingers with Josh’s own, gently playing with it as he rested his head on top of the older.
“Yes.”
Justin pouted as he slowed down his ministrations on Josh’s hand. He wasn’t offended, but really, he’s still such a baby around Josh. And if Josh got the signal, he didn’t mention it until he felt Justin emitting this strange, gloomy aura that he couldn’t help himself but chuckle. “Of course, you too, my Mr. Pouty Giant Baby.”
Justin smiled triumphantly, moving to kiss the top of his head, before murmuring, “I love you, too. Forever.”
