Loki followed after Jormungandr, her son traveling speedily through the ocean.
“Jormungandr? Where are you going?” Loki asked confusedly.
He smiled, “It’s a surprise!”
Loki shook their head, Jormungandr was much like his father, always exploring and curious about everything. Loki was very curious as well, even though they did not do much exploring anymore. It was what made Loki fall in love with Anthony, their combined love of learning.
Jormungandr shook their hand, “Mamma! We are here!”
Loki looked past Jor, seeing one of the humans sunken ships.
“I do not understand.”
Jormungandr frowned, “It is the place where you met papa!”
Loki blinked carefully at the ship, it was.
Loki smiled down at her son, “You are very considerate, Jor, but how did you find this?”
A voice from behind, “I… may have helped.”
Loki rolled their eyes as she turned around, knowing it was their husband, “Anthony.”
He smiled sheepishly, “Hi Lo.”
“Should I ask why?”
“Well… since I always seemed to forget our anniversary I thought I could make it up!”
She placed their hand on Anthony’s face, “This is very kind, Anthony, but you do know our anniversary is in a few months.”
He frowned, “Oh.”
They kissed him, “It is alright Anthony, I appreciate the gesture.”
“Eww!” Jormungandr cried.
They rolled their eyes, “Come here Jor.”
Jor came over to hug her and Anthony.
Loki sighed contently, “I love both of you so much.”
