Being the eldest of three in a family of doctors, Chris dedicated all his life to being another successor. When he met Minho, the reason adds up.
They met by chance when little Chris happened to be passing the Lee-s' house at the same time Minho was chilling by the window. Upon the said boy turning his head and smiling dazzlingly towards him, Chris feels he has never seen a person as gorgeous as him.
From that day onwards, Lee Minho is the one and only owner of Chris' heart
Sadly, Minho was ill with an incurable disease. Said only have a little time left to live. Aware of that, Chris does his best to find a cure for Minho. He can't let the love of his life be taken away like that, no. He will do everything to keep Minho survive.
Until he succeeds, the cure is found, and Minho can recover.
It feels like the happiest day in Chris' life. His dearest one got cured and said he loves him as much as Chris does. They hold each other, kiss, and swear an oath to be together forever.
Not long after, they opened their small clinic, with Chris as the doctor and Minho as his nurse. It all feels like a whole dream come true for Chris.
But that sweet dream turned into a nightmare in a blink of an eye.
Chris was out looking for a missing ingredient, and when he returned, instead of welcoming him with a lovely smile, Minho's lifeless body limped in front of the entrance with a hole sinking on his forehead, blood flowing out from it.
A burglar. Went just as Chris was out. Shot a bullet through Minho, took all the money and precious things around, then left. That's all the CCTV shows when the police come and take care of things.
Except for Minho's life, which now is gone, can't be returned, forever.
"No ... there must be a way to bring him back. My love, my dear Minho."
Thus, he started his research: to defy death, for his Minho can be back alive. He'll do anything to bring his loved one in his arms again, even if he has to deal with the devil himself.
Desperately, he does.
After months, through a restricted section in his family's library, he found about it in a book - necromancy, the art to return the dead. Chris couldn't believe it at first, but the yearning to see Minho again blinds him.
Then with Minho's skeletons as his medium, he started the ritual.
"We will see each other again very soon, my love."
