Sleepy ideas

Summary:

I come up with these ideas before going to bed. Reset, family, multiverse and else.

1. Frisk tries to tell about resets (and the rest) with a perfect result, which does not work the first time. And from the second and third.
But this talk just has to happen.

Chapter 1: Talk(s) about resets

Chapter Text

You sighed heavily. No matter how the blasters in the golden corridor burned, spears were still your least favorite weapon. The diary idea was the most successful so far, but the addition of the death drawings was clearly unnecessary, Undyne really didn't like the "He Still Believes in You" page. The useless conversation with the whole family needs to be revisited.

The reset conversation was bound to happen, but maybe you should change tactics. Talk to everyone in turn? But who should you talk to first? Flowey (Asriel's shadow) already remembers all the information and will probably avoid you. Alphys will be too frightened by the story, and will go to tell Undyne. And she'll definitely be the last to know. The head of the guard reacts deadly to threats, the True Hero. Toriel (mom) looks at you with that look, and you can't handle it. Asgore sometimes looks that lost look, sometimes destroys the threat, as he should. Papyrus never stops believing the best in you, that deserves respect. Sans is more interested in hearing about the workings of the reset from the lips of the anomaly, he only cares about his brother.

Perhaps you should start with one of the brothers, that's the safest option. But how to start? Where? In previous attempts you told general information and then answered the questions that arose, but this is clearly an unsuccessful tactic. Perhaps you should first talk about routes where someone has died because of a mistake rather than intent. Or about routes in which...

- My child? - your musing was suddenly interrupted by Toriel, - Weren't you going to have breakfast?

You shook your head positively and told your mom that you would eat your eggs right away. Thinking about the conversation should be left until your lesson with Mrs. Anderson, it would be boring today anyway.

After breakfast, you went to your room to get ready and ran into Sans. He, as always this morning, was on his way to work, you don't know what the job is yet, but perhaps you can try the next day when it finally arrives.
heya kiddo, big plans for today? - Skeleton asked, usually you would just smile at him and nod in agreement, but not this time.

You tell Sans that you would like to talk to him or his brother today, that you have an important, big story to tell.

- of course, come and see us after class, kiddo. i hope it's a good story. maybe i can give you some tips from the master storyteller.

You agree thoughtfully with Sans, he's a really good storyteller, maybe with his advice it will go better than usual.

- important stories should be told from the beginning, not the middle, kid. but you should know that already, shouldn't you?

Are you frowning, starting from the very first reset? But your memory of the first ways is vague. It's going to be tricky, you'll need to refresh your memory, perhaps reread your diary?

- it's not just your story, is it? - Sans's voice interrupted your musings.

You are reflecting. This story really affects more than just you, tell the story of Flowey (brother)? You know only the general history of his resets, yes, and it would be necessary to tell about his appearance, and then it would be necessary to tell about the plan. But perhaps that is the solution to the problem. You thank Sans for the advice and go into your room. You will try this plan. In the meantime, you need to get ready for class.

There have been about fifteen or twenty attempts already. Frisk didn't always die, but they didn't want any cracks in the family, so they reset.

Does Sans remember the resets? It doesn't really matter. Either he remembers them, or he pays attention to the déjà vu and Frisk's behavior and draws conclusions.

The true reset isn't Frisk's fault, they could have initiated it, but even without their involvement, it happened. Eventually they fixed the situation.
At first they just stopped building friendships with everyone they met, then they learned that when you reach a low level of monster's health, you can also spare them. The first kill was an accident, they swung too hard.

The genocide was interrupted immediately after killing Sans. Frisk is not afraid of him, unlike the others, they have only fought him once. Papyrus, who has never killed them, even by a accident, also helped take away their fear of bone magic.

Chara is present. They are not exactly ghosts, Frisk cannot talk to them, but know their opinion of the situation. You also can do this.

This talk will take another dozen tries. But eventually the next day will come.

Notes:

I tried to write it in the third person. But the second person is just right for Frisk.

Also, English is not my first language, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes.
