I can sense you, brother.
Don’t play me for a fool, you might have gotten me once, but don’t think I will ever fall to your blade.
My dearest Talon, you live amongst the shadows, amongst the creaking oak trees and whispering forest grass. The animals speak your name in gentle scurry whispers.
Now, you sit here, watching me. I hope you can read this from whichever tree you choose to reside in. I remember you Talon, I remember you in ways you probably already forgot. Our past, our childhoods, destroyed by your mindless sense to kill. You always had a thing for hiding way. Secretive and quiet, you never made many friends, but I know your one true secret. You were jealous, jealous of Cass and me. You never truly felt like you fit in with our family, that's why you kept yourself hidden. Shameful, really.
I’m sorry Talon, I’m sorry I was never there. I was never there for you, never there to help you. Never there to take care of you as a big sister should. I’m not even sure if I’m worthy of that title. Big Sister, I guess I was never that for you. And if I was, I doubt you still see me as such. I’m no longer your sister, but a stranger… a stranger with a bounty over my head.
So my dear brother, make your mark soon. I want to see how much fight is left in you. I know you want to kill me, I know what your mission is. So why hesitate? You could kill me at any moment, I know you sit and watch me sleep. What are you waiting for Talon?
