Aoi has a bad feeling about this, she's not exactly sure what Ubuyashiki has in mind, but inviting the hashira's spouses/mates doesn't seem like a good idea.
Besides, none of the Pillars, except for Uzui are mated so she has no idea why is so important to have his three wives here, maybe it's some sort of bonding exercise...
There are a few kakushi around and a couple of young slayers too, then she notices Genya and Senjuro and thinks that maybe some of them decided to bring their families as well...
Suddenly, Aoi notices a beautiful omega with a scar on his forehead, he must be mated since he has a little pup in his arms and a four-year-old girl following him around.
Senjuro approaches him immediately and the two of them start chatting while Genya tries to keep a scowl on his face, just like his brother usually does, but still blushes to the tip of his ears when the omega tells him to get closer.
Aoi has never seen that omega before; she immediately wonders how he got there.
"This is Nezuko!" He pats the girl's head gently. "She's my little sister. But this one here, he's my pup."
He kisses the baby's forehead after he says that, prompting Nezuko to pout and grab his green and black square patterned haori. He chuckles, turns around and gives her a kiss on the head as well.
Aoi can tell how much Senjuro wants physical affection too but he's too shy to ask, perhaps that's Genya's case as well.
"Hi!" Kanroji is the first hashira to spot the pretty omega; she's batting her long eyelashes at him like she doesn't notice the pup in his arms, although maybe it's just an unconscious reaction. "I'm Kanroji Mitsuri, the love hashira! Nice to meet you!"
"Hi, Kanroji-san!" The omega mumbles. "I'm–"
"Senjuro! Who's your friend?" When Rengoku approaches with a huge grin on his face as soon as he sees the omega with red eyes, Aoi pinches the bridge of her nose and sighs.
"Do you have an alpha?" Uzui asks immediately, startling everyone after appearing out of nowhere in front of the redhead. Everyone around wants to glare at him, but they're too interested in the omega's response to scold him for it.
His wives gather around the redhead and the pups, looking hopefully from Uzui to the omega.
"Yes, I do–"
"But are you happy with them?" Aoi blinks in shock after watching Kocho asking that particular question; it seems the omega is attracting all the hashira around...
"We can fight them for you," Shinazugawa cuts in, surprising his own brother and everyone around.
"We can challenge them," Tokito offers which is pretty much like saying they're interested in the omega for themselves.
Although the redhead doesn't seem to get it.
"Don't, he's... He's really kind to me. We love each other," he tilts his head, still confused by all those questions.
However, Nezuko seems to have gotten the hint because she gets closer to the omega and starts glaring at all the alphas around.
No one seems to notice.
"What do you think about families with more than two spouses?" Uzui suddenly asks, prompting Iguro to jump from his tree and look at the omega with curiosity.
"We're four in our household," Makio cuts in then, getting closer to the omega.
"But we have room for one more," Hinatsuru adds with a smile on her face.
"And the pups too!" Suma says excitedly, she's doing the exact same thing Kanroji tried to do as soon as she met the omega, fluttering her pretty eyelashes at him.
Aoi can't believe what's happening; she's never seen them act like that around anyone, do the Pillars have no shame?
"I think a family is a family no matter the number of spouses or pups, as long as everyone is happy," the omega beams at them and Aoi watches as everyone collectively sighs dreamily. She feels sorry for the omega's alpha because those are really trying very hard to steal his mate.
Even Tomioka, who's usually on the opposite corner of the backyard whenever there's a meeting, is right in front of the omega, staring at him with something close to longing.
And Himejima hasn't arrived yet... But, will he–
"You haven't told us your name."
"Oh, so you've met Tanjirou already," Ubuyashiki walks outside with his two girls at his sides. One of them mumbles something next to him. "And his pups too!"
That's when Himejima arrives and everyone watches in shock and sorrow as Tanjirou's face lights up before running with his pups towards the alpha.
"Gyomei-san!" He chuckles before the stone hashira takes the three of them in his arms, it's incredibly easy for him.
"I've missed you, Tanjirou," Himejima mumbles before kissing the omega on the lips. It's a quick kiss but it gets the message across.
Aoi had no idea Himejima was mated and it looks like none of the others knew for that matter.
"I'm glad you told your husband to come, Gyomei," Ubuyashiki mumbles, smiling kindly. Then he tells everyone to sit on the ground instead of kneeling in front of him. "I've always wanted you to see each other as part of the same family."
Even though Tanjirou and the two pups are comfortably sitting on Himejima's lap, that doesn't stop the other Pillars to glance at the omega every now and then.
The meeting ends quickly and after that Ubuyashiki asks them to stay for a while and enjoy themselves and it's the first time they all agree without a second thought.
As soon as they gather around Tanjirou and the pups, Himejima rises immediately with all of them still in his arms, Nezuko sticks out her tongue at them.
"Why didn't you tell us you got married to a beautiful omega?" Kanroji pouts, looking up at Tanjirou.
"Why didn't you bring him here before?" Tomioka asks, as Rengoku and his little brother are trying to start a conversation with the omega.
Even though Himejima always looks like a quiet and patient alpha, Aoi has the feeling that he'd turn quite dangerous if anyone tried to hurt his omega or pups.
Not that the Pillars would ever try to hurt Tanjirou, but Himejima doesn't look quite pleased with all the attention his omega is getting.
Even though he seems pretty much oblivious to the situation, Tanjirou senses his mate is not happy because he starts nuzzling his neck lovingly.
Aoi can smell jealousy in everyone else's scents already.
This is getting ridiculous.
"Gyomei... I have an idea–"
"No," the huge alpha cuts the sound hashira off even before he finishes his sentence. Uzui's wives narrow their eyes at the same time.
"If you share..."
"No," this time Nezuko pouts before curling closer to Tanjirou who pats her head and scolds her lightly.
"Why did we say about interrupting people?"
"Sorry, serpent man..."
Tanjirou looks at Iguro with an apologetic smile, but the serpent hashira doesn't seem to mind at all; Aoi can tell he's smiling back at Tanjirou.
This time, it's (surprisingly) Shinazugawa the one who tries to convince Himejima.
"The more alphas, the more protected and safe your omega will be."
"I'm sorry, but I need to take my family home because I haven't seen them in a while and I want to spend time with them," Himejima says then, ignoring the other's protests.
He kisses Tanjirou on the lips again and Aoi is almost sure he does that on purpose.
However, she knows the others aren't going to give up that easily.
