Anna left him. All he did was love her and she threw him out like an old toy. The ring sat in the palm of his left hand and a bottle of whisky in the right. The woods was the most suitable place for him to go. It was away from Vander, it was away from her. Silco brought the bottle up to his lips. It burned the back of his throat for a moment. Oh, how everything goes wrong in this cruel world, he sighed to himself. Silco peered down next to him. Out of all the sticks surrounding him, this one looked like a hand. He moved the ring around in his hand “maybe you and i should marry dear stick” he said placing the ring on the stick. He sighed once again. It was quiet for a moment. Until there was a deep rumble and a shift in the ground underneath him.
Silco stood up as something rose from the ground what the fuck was going on here. Whatever was submerged in the ground had fully risen. Silco was stunned for a moment. Whatever had risen looked like a girl. They were wearing an old deteriorating white dress with blue accents at the bottom. They moved their hand and swiped their hair away from their face. Silco was frozen in place not even realizing the thing had rushed towards him.
Silco’s back hit the ground hard as they pinned him to the forest floor. She slowly looked at him lowering herself so they were face to face body against body. “You may kiss the bride,” she whispered. He felt something cool against his lips. After that he didn't remember anything. Silco woke up somewhere familiar. Somewhere warm. It was the old shity couch in the basement of the last drop. Silco stood up eager to find out how he got there. “Silco!'' he turned his head to see that Vander was rushing towards him so that's how he got here “dude are you alright?” "I'm doing quite fine. Do you mind explaining to me how I ended up here?" he asked Vander, his voice cracking slightly. He was trying to keep calm but under the circumstances it was appearing that it would be a struggle. “Well after everything turned south with Anna you bolted into the woods and you were missing for a few hours until me and Benzo found you unconscious.” Vander explained “so you think you can fill in the gaps?" Silco sighed "I guess with all the pressure when Anna left me had me burned out so i fell asleep.” “Well next time make it home instead.” Silco scoffed, “I'll keep that in mind.”
Lies it was the first of many in the years to come. It was what led Vander to betray him. In those next years he stopped thinking about the experience in the woods; he let it slip from his mind, never letting it truly rise to the surface. Silco stood on the bridge that connected Piltover and Zaun, knowing that in a few months he was going to face Vander. It was a plan years in the making. The wind was starting to pick up. Something was off Silco could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. Silco could sense an otherworldly presence surrounding him, a familiar one in fact. It felt like the one from the woods. He spun around and backed up to the railing of the bridge but there she stood. The ghostly figure had barely changed. The wind moved her hair in all different directions. She leaned in and went in for a kiss. He returned it this time. He let her consume him, then it faded to black.
Silco could feel the rough stone against his backside. He could also feel a bony hand cradling his head gently. Silco opened his eyes and there she was hovering over him. “Good, you're awake” she said happily. Her voice was smooth and soft. Where was he? The last thing he remembered was being on the bridge. Silco sat up and looked around. The place was old, most of the surrounding was brick and cement. She giggled and Silco turned his head back to her “who are you?” she giggled once again and extended her hand out to touch the scarred side of his face but he caught her wrist before she could do so. He lowered it so it was back at her side. “I'm your wife Silco” “excuse me” his wife? He didn’t even know her name. “Don't make me ask again, who are you?" “Y/N your wife” "Hmm Y/N my wife, How do you know my name?" “Silco” Her head cocked to the side as she paused. “You don’t think I would marry a random man do you?” She seemed aggravated at the assumption that they didn’t know each other.
All of those things come back to him clearly, even the "you may kiss the bride." Y/N was his wife. But she was dead “Y/N where are we?” “the land of the dead” “what?” “Come with me” she says calmly, how could she be so calm didn’t she just realize she just told him they were basically surrounded by everything unholy? Silco followed not wanting to be stuck by himself.
Y/N led him to some type of alley or market. It was almost a mirror of the living world. She moved at a regular pace and Silco was quietly walking beside her. "Where are we going?” he was starting to get agatted again. “Don’t worry, we're almost there.” so they went on for a few more minutes until she came to a halt. They were at some type of river that made him nervous. “Silco, do you trust me?” She asked him. “yes” another lie she smiled and turned to the water. She sat down and placed her hand into the water and told Silco to sit. Silco complied and they sat for what seemed like an eternity. It made him wonder how long Y/N has been dead, maybe she has been dead for an eternity. Silco sighed “Y/N as much as I'm enjoying this I'm going to have to ask you nicely if you could return me to Zaun" she turned so fast that her eye popped out. Her voice shook “I thought we were having a nice time, you can’t leave me!” “No it's not that, we are having a nice time” it was true even though they had been sitting in silence there was a mutual understanding to each other “then it's my eye isn't it” she said, picking up her eye off the ground and placing it back into the socket. Yes her eye was odd but he needed to get to Vander. “Your eye is perfect” he mumbled Silco needed to think quickly. "Just come with me” he spurted out. Silco breathed in. “your my wife so that would make you the queen” “the queen? The queen of what?” “of Zaun, help me-” "defeat Vander” she finished his sentence. How did she know that? “Um, yes” “how did you know” she moved closer. "I've watched you for a long time. I've seen you planning and making history" Y/N placed her hand on his shoulders, her nails digging into his shoulders. She looked at his lips and then into his eyes, waiting for him to make the next move. Silco understood this and grasped her waist and dragged her into his body. Silco leaped forward to meet her lips. She was cold. It would take him some time to adjust to that, however. Even though they hadn't known each other for very long, she was his queen. She understood.
The wind picked up. It felt like he was going to pass out again. Y/N disconnected from the kiss and took her hands off his shoulders and let them dangle at her sides. They were back on the bridge. Silco looked back at her as she was glistening in the moonlight. Silco removed his arms from her waist. and put his hand out for her to take. With cautiousness she took it. Silco clasped his fingers around it and guided her off the bridge into Zaun. Into there future.
