Chapter Text

The sunlight seeping in through the cracks of his room's curtains woke him up. Yoongi opened his eyes and looked around, wait a minute this wasn't his room, his room has curtains large enough to never let any light enter, unless someone opened them on purpose, so this can't be his room, his sleep dazed brain unable to register where he was.

Until it clicked he was in Taehyung's apartment, in Taehyung's bed, with Taehyung's long and surprisingly strong arms still holding him in a embrace, a tight one. Relief washed over him, he snuggled back into the arms of his little guy, who loves to snuggle up to him all the time these days and let me tell you a secret Yoongi loves it.

He recalls it now, how he got here in the first place. They both were in Yoongi's studio, recording Taehyung's part for 'Telepathy' and by the end of which Taehyung had gotten all whiny and clingy, sulking about his tired limbs having no life and that only a "long and warm session of cuddling Yoongi would bring them back to life."

Yoongi tried to act annoyed and like he didn't like the youngers idea but the corners of his lips tugging upwards were betraying him, but it's not something new Taehyung's pout and puppy eyes always do that to Yoongi.
Make him weak for anything the younger says or wants.

He still tries though because Min Yoongi is nothing if not a try-hard.

"Nope that's not happening Taehyungie, we cuddled a lot yesterday, cause you said anyone else refused to do so with you, but then Jungkookie told me you never asked anyone and threatened him to delete his gaming account on you PC if he tried to cuddle me, so I'm not falling for your lies today and you better explain the threatening Jungkook situation."

He says trying to make it sound like a command and it does, he's proud of himself, he FINALLY braved the pout and the puppy eyes, he's a winner. Min Yoongi is a winner.

But just as his premature celebration got over Taehyung looked at him, with an almost teary gaze, like literal galaxies shining in his pretty eyes and his lip jutted out further, making him look like he was asking for a kiss (well Yoongi's treacherous brain keeps decieving him and often pays a visit to the thoughts he usually hides in the back of his mind), speaking once again in pouts and with a whiny tone.

"But Hyungie, you have to come with me, my bed is cold and lonely, i need to cuddle you to sleep, please Hyungie ... And i didn't threaten Kook, i just asked him politely to not cuddle my favourite Hyung, he can cuddle Joon or Hobi or Jin Hyung or Jiminie as much as he wants but i need to cuddle 𝘺𝘰𝘶 --

Yoongi's heart races and misses a beat at the 'you', he doesn't know what to say, do or how to react when Taehyung verbally confirms it Yoongi that he is the younger's favourite and is special to him.

Taehyung continues his little rant.

and then he is always cuddling you when I'm not there, so it was only fair of me."

Yoongi gathers his thoughts and decides to put on the I'm annoyed facade for a bit longer -- he cuts Taehyung off with a glare but his words hold no real bite to them. Knowing completely he lost again, to this giant baby of his, well, no surprise, really, Yoongi never wins anyway.

"Yes ofcourse only fair of you to "glare the fucking daylight out of him" as Jungkook quoted earlier, to me."

Taehyung pouted harder and this time just pulled him into a bone crushing hug, speaking into his neck where the younger's face was hidden currently.

"Enough of your no, i know that you like my cuddles too, so why are you being difficult like this, we are going back to MY home, MY bed and you are going sleep with ME, and i will listen to nothing from you if its not a YES."

Yoongi finally gave up on the already lost fight and just melted into the embrace and spoke softly "okay, okay lets go now, you big baby you're comfortable and i will fall asleep, if we keep standing like this and i don't want that."

Taehyung smiles his big, messy on the edges smile, before dragging an almost asleep Yoongi to his car and that's how he ended up here on his second bed. (from how many times the younger has made him agree to his requests of sleeping together.)

Yoongi sleepily blinks when Taehyung's hold on him tightens further and there is a soft whisper against his neck, "Hyung..why are you up so early, our schedule doesn't start till twelve today, lets sleep some more hmm.."

Taehyung speaks and makes himself more comfortable against Yoongi, tangling his legs further with the older's, his hands tight around Yoongi's torso and Yoongi can feel his breathing evening out soon. He could sleep right now he knows that too, but his mind keeps supplying the images of how they would be looking right now, with Taehyung's face pressed softly against the crook of his neck and his sleep induced pouty lips, so close to Yoongi's neck, his heart races at the thought, the thought of if he moved his neck just a bit, Taehyung's sugary lips would be touching his sensitive neck.

Yoongi needs to think about something else and not about how intimate and soft the moment is in itself. He will come back to this later.

The next thought that comes in his brain is again Taehyung related but much more in favour of Yoongi's sanity. He recalls when this started, Taehyung's little habit of hiding his face is Yoongi's neck and staying there for as long as he wished.

The first time it happened.

It was their muster in Busan, everyone was excited specially Jimin and Jungkook.
Well it was understood that the boys would be excited to perform in their hometown. About Taehyung, although he was excited at first but when they got there he grew antsy and fidgety, Yoongi being the first to notice it, asked him.

"Hey Taehyungie whats wrong? You look a little pale, everything okay?"

"I'm fine Hyung, just a little nervous, i guess.."

"What are you nervous about Tae?"

"Nothing too big or to worry about Hyungie, its just ... I've been thinking about... what if army doesn't like me, you know me rapping your part in Ddaeng, i mean no one can rap as well as you, and just because I like rapping, doesn't make it I'm good at it.."

"Hey hey Taehyungie, don't be like that.. come here.."

He called Taehyung right into his arms, Yoongi wasn't someone big on affection, but he knew very well, when to give it and which member needed what when in the need of comfort.

Taehyung comes closer to him, almost instantly, looking equal parts nervous and worried. He makes himself smaller, lowering his shoulders to fit in Yoongi's embrace, Yoongi tightens his hold on the younger, making sure he was comfortable before he spoke.

"Taehyungie you're the best okay, don't let anyone make you feel or believe anything different hmm... and you're so good at rapping, why would Armys not like it, they will love it and most probably will ask you to rap my part in every performance to come once they listen to you, i could never sing as well as you rap Taetae, now smile for Hyungie .. will you..?"

Taehyung visibly shivers at the earnest words of the older and hugs Yoongi even tighter looking up from where his face was resting on Yoongi's shoulder and smiles, even brighter than his usual 'Only for Yoongi' smile.

Taehyung's smile has always done things to Yoongi (he will elaborate on that some other day) but today looking at it made his heart skip several beats, the beautiful ... Oh so beautiful smile directed at him with eyes glazed with pure admiration and love, Yoongi couldn't help but smile his big gummy smile back at the younger.

That seemed to make the younger even more pleased with the older than he was already and he continued hugging Yoongi, happy in his warm and gentle embrace.

But this is Taehyung we are talking about, Kim Taehyung, and Kim Taehyung is nothing if not cute and annoyingly stubborn.

so...

The rest of the day the only time Taehyung left him was for practice, food or using the restroom, and because hugging would make it harder for Yoongi to walk around he clinged onto him like a koala back hugging him the whole day.

And whenever someone would comment on his little antic, he would hide his face in Yoongi's neck and Yoongi would answer in fake annoyance but with pure adoration in his eyes that "This brat won't leave me." Taehyung would giggle at that and just hold him tighter.

Yoongi keeps the memory close to his heart.

He can't keep a count of all the times it happened after that because it just became a habit for Taehyung. A very cherished by Yoongi habit.

But he recalls how once they all had organised a movie night with all seven of them and with no take out but Jin and Yoongi's cooking, because the members love their cooking and anytime they can get it midst their busy schedules, was a delight.

Yoongi was angrily chopping away some vegetables for the stew he was going to cook, when he felt them, strong arms wrapping around his waist and warm breath against his neck, and furnace of a body attaching to his own but he didn't stop, didn't react to the presence, cause he was angry, the brat behind him just now participated in mocking him with the others and called him fun-sized, like the disrespect he gets in this household is something else.

"Hyuuuuuuungieeeee"

Taehyung whines long and sickeningly sweet in his neck.

But Yoongi keeps his resolve.

"Hyuuuuuunnngggggiiiieeeee"

A longer whine and a tighter hold.

Taehyung was so close to him in the moment that when he spoke, his lips touched Yoongi's neck between every few words. And God it was so unfair to Yoongi's little heart, that already didn't know how to function properly with the younger around.

"I'm sorry, i didn't think they will all tease you so much about what i said, i was just trying to be funny Hyungie, you know i wouldn't mean to really insult you or hurt your feelings ..I'm sorry please talk to me, i will ask them to drop the joke.. but please talk to me Hyungiiee"

Yoongi feels a smile creep its way to his lips listening to Tae's little rant about his joke and his cute little apology, but he has got to act tougher than this, he is MIN YOONGI, he is a strong guy who doesn't simp for everything KIM TAEHYUNG does. (Lies Lies)

He doesn't say anything just focusing on the task at hand and that's when Taehyung just lifts him up and hides his face even more in his neck even though that should be impossible by now and speaks with a whiny and pouty tone.

"Hyungiee... If you won't forgive me, i won't put you down, and will walk around like this."

"Your back will break before any of that brat, now put me down."

Yoongi spoke trying to ignore how his brain once again was trying to imagine how would they be looking right now.

Taehyung gently puts him down and turns him around.. hugging him with glee.

"I made you talk to me hyungiiee, now you can't stay mad at me, I'm so smart aren't I?"

"You made me talk but not forgive, so technically you aren't all that smart.."

Yoongi says with a smug look even if Taehyung can't see him in the state they were in.

Taehyung breaks the hug and speaks again, this time using the one thing Yoongi hates with a burning passion, HIS PUPPY EYES.

"Hyung how can you still stay mad at me, I've apologised.. done everything in power to tell you how sorry i am, don't you love me anymore?"

He says it dramatically feigning hurt.

But nonetheless Yoongi's heart skips a beat at the mention of love, but he will come back to that some other time, right now he has to deal with the cutest brat of this planet. But before he can say something Taehyung speaks again.

"I can't live without you Hyung, and i love talking to you, 𝘪 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 and i think it must be the same for you, seeing how you never are able to refuse me anything, and its just you who understands my words when others call it alien language, so why are you still trying to stay mad."

Yoongi feels a deep blush forming on his cheeks listening to all that, he thought no one was noticing his clear soft corner for Taehyung and the mention of love once again had his heart forgetting its normal function and racing like that's what its supposed to do.

He finally cracks a smile and says.

"Tell them to drop the joke and also respect the fact that I'm taller than your soulmate, and about the loving you part you know the answer to it."

Taehyung smiles happily at that before a mischievous glint paints it.

"Consider it done hyung, but i don't think i know the answer, mind telling me."

"No."

"Please hyung.."

"No."

"I won't leave if you don't.."

"Okay.. i love you too, now go and let me cook in peace."

Taehyung smiles his angelic smile and leaves but not before leaving a big, loud and wet kiss on Yoongi's forehead.

Leaving him in a daze, with a heart thats a racer by profession and forgotten vegetables.

Yoongi almost giggles at the memory.

He remembers how Jin really had a meltdown when he came back to the kitchen and saw that Yoongi had not completed any of the tasks he had assigned to the younger and was standing in front of the kitchen island with dopey smile, a certain vocalist on his mind.

Yoongi smiles shyly at the memory and smiles some more thinking about how Taehyung would just attach himself to Yoongi like a koala and hide his pretty face in his neck, with almost always changing reasons. Some of them being..

"Tae we just got our makeup done, don't get that on me, what are you doing anyway?"

"Was tired and my face needed to rest somewhere soft and nice Hyung.."

"Your reason this time, little guy?"

"Love your scent, it calms my anxiety before performing.."

"Should i even bother asking..?"

"You shouldn't... but Hyungie looked alone, i thought of accompanying you."

"We're in public little guy.. not here.."

Yoongi said carefully, trying not to hurt Taehyung's feelings .

"That interviewer keeps staring weirdly at me Hyungie, i don't like it.."

That day Yoongi glared the shit out of the said interviewer till the man asked Yoongi if he had problem to which because of the language barrier Yoongi told Namjoon to tell him that they want another person to be interveiwing them, not some perverted unprofessional guy.

Taehyung sighed happily against his neck once the weird guy left and hugged him even more tighter whispering how Yoongi was the best.

He smiled finally knowing his little guy was now happy.

He didn't realise he had been up for so long until the younger's alarm went off, making a very grumpy about having to wake up Taehyung shuffle behind him, grumbling about wanting to sleep some more but Yoongi turned in his hold and shook him lightly till he reluctantly opened his eyes.

"Good morning Hyung.. did you sleep well?"

"Good morning Tae.. and i slept well.. how about you.. mmh?"

"Slept like a baby.. but i still want to sleep some more before we go to the forest.. you know how i can be and how i have a hard time sometimes sleeping in new places, even though we have to sleep at new places all the time.. i just wanted to catch little extra sleep in case.. i don't get much there.. "

"Oh my little Taetae i wish i could do something about it.. but even though i want you to rest as much as you want we need to get ready.. we leave for the forest in less than two hours and before that we need to get our luggage from the dorm too.. you think Hobi and Kookie stayed there last night?"

"I guess they did.. so our stuff will be in the living room without having to worry.. you know how meticulous Hobi hyung is about such things.. "

"And about having a hard time sleeping.. just for this trip.. come to me okay.. to sleep i mean.. in case that helps.. though I'm not sure about the effect my sleep-deprived but sleep-loving ass would have on you.."

"First hyung no cursing so early in the morning.. it can send angels away from us.. second you love me and can't deny me anything so why even try.. and thankyou so much for the offer.. i would love to sleep with you.. and you don't even have the slightest idea about how much your presence calms me.. i literally fall asleep in like five minutes or so when you're next to me."

"Okay so are you telling me that I'm so boring that you can't help but fall asleep around me Taehyungie..?

Yoongi says feigning hurt knowing well Taehyung would either fall for it or at least play along.

Taehyung though looks like he fell for it as he hides his angelic face in Yoongi's chest hugging him tightly before speaking.

"Hyungie you know that's not what i was saying.. you calm me.. like a comforting song.. like rain on a cloudy day.. like my favourite tea.. like.. like my favourite Hyung.."

Yoongi didn't think his little joke will end up with him becoming a blushing mess cheeks ablaze from the words younger just more or less whispered to his chest.

He speaks a little while later after the words sink in.

"You calm me too Taetae.. i love spending time with you too.. i hope you know that.. i hope you know there is little meaning in my 'No's and that my answer to you is always yes."

Taehyung looks up from his chest and from under his lashes and Yoongi swears his heart just leaped out of his chest. He looks so soft like this his long hair that he has been refusing to get a trim for - for a long time now all tousled and pretty.. natural curls that make Yoongi want to tangle his fingers in them and play.. his shirt riding up exposing his soft tummy for Yoongi to see and give him weird urges like the ones he's having right now he wants to kiss his beautiful tummy and to nibble lightly on it and lick tiny kitten licks on it that would definitely tickle his tiny baby.

His reverie of thoughts is broken when Taehyung finally speaks after long minutes of their soft and sweet gazing at each other.

"I know hyung.. i can see through all your little acts.. i know my tiny hyung is only too shy to admit things and not really unwanting of them.. i see how you ask me to not hold you and tighten your hold on me while you do so."

Taehyung giggled as he finished speaking but as much as Yoongi loves every second of listening to Taehyung's cute and honey like giggles he needs to ask his giant baby to freshen up so that they can get ready on time.

"Little guy as much as I'd like to lay here with you and keep talking till however long we want you know we need to leave at a certain time.. so could you please go take a shower and all.. I'm gonna take the guest bathroom to save time hmm.."

Taehyung nodded at that though his eyes shined with mischief right before he got up from the bed. He spoke.

"Hyungie if that is so and we're so tight on time why don't you save water too and come shower with me.. i will wash your back for you too.. and shampoo your hair as well.."

Yoongi sputtered at that.. sure they had seen each other naked and all but its not everyday he got his back (his focus is on ASS) washed by his donsaeng and get his hair shampooed by him.. he'd rather pass the mortifying situation he is sure he would create if this were to happen.

Taehyung smirks looking at his Hyung.. happy to get the reaction he was expecting.. statisfied he blows a kiss at Yoongi that only makes the blush already present on Yoongi's face darken.. and leaves to take a shower. (not with Yoongi..)

The place they were supposed to go to was for the shooting of their new show "BTS : In The Soop" and getting there had been no issue.. but the task of getting all their things and luggage and food definately was something Yoongi wanted to end soon.

He finally pushed the last ramen packet in the drawer before closing it and going to the place he had decided to stay in for their time here.. the camper van.. it was a good choice if you asked Yoongi. He had to work on a few songs and staying in any of the houses meant he won't be able to work on his music without being disturbed or without the editing team having to edit a lot of scenes where he would be working around the others.

The only little thing that bothered him a bit was his promise to Taehyung to sleep with him and spend a lot of time with him.. he had worried his bottom lip when he met the younger member while he was going to get changed.

He had told Taehyung about his plans and his worries and just like always the younger had been so nice and warm about it.. happy to listen that Yoongi was doing what he wanted though he wanted the older to relax a bit but he understood the importance of the songs Yoongi's working on.. they are for their upcoming comeback.. he smiled at the mention of the sleeping arrangement melting all of Yoongi's problems before they could even take form. He said he didn't mind one bit that Yoongi took the van and that he would gladly come there whenever Yoongi would like him to and when it won't be disturbing for him and also promised to come to bed on time and not keep Yoongi up for long.

It would be a blatant lie if Yoongi said that the "I will come to bed on time and not keep you up for long" part didn't make his racer by profession heart run a mile a minute. He had to physically stop the big gummy smile that was threatening to spread on his face fully.. at just the thought of how domestic it all sounds.

They were done with the shooting for the day that means all the members had retreated to their respective rooms and were either washing up to go to bed or had already gone to bed.. about Yoongi he was patiently waiting for his little guy.. Taehyung was washing up as the younger had informed him on text and he would be here any minute now.

And if Yoongi had made sure to clean up the place well and also spray some calming room freshening scent it was no ones business to know that.

Just as Yoongi gets his phone from where it was charging to scroll a bit.. a soft knock takes his attention and a second later Taehyung gets in looking so pretty.. just like always but his freshly blown dry hair make him look even more angelic than ever.. he smiled at Yoongi before speaking.

"Aww.. Hyungie you look so cute in those shorts of yours.. your legs look so pretty and you look even more small.. i wanna wrap you up in my arms and never let go.."

Yoongi blushes madly at the praise, cheeks going fifty shades of red and his nose scrunches cutely making the younger infront of him coo at him.. Yoongi groans in frustration and hides his face in pillow he was previously resting his head on.. he wasn't expecting that.. infact he was gonna tease the younger with some most handsome man of this world compliments.

But now he is the one hiding his face while Taehyung hugs him from behind having quickly slipped next to him on the bed when he saw how much he had succeeded in flustering his Hyung.. he speaks cutely.

"Hyungie look at me show me your pretty face.. i wanna praise you some more.. and don't you dare say anything to deny it.. i know you love all the praise and babying i give you.. look at me.. please.."

Yoongi grumbles something incoherent under his breath before he turns around and looks at the younger who looks even more ethereal with the soft moonlight that shines on his flawless face and makes his every little detail of his defined face soften up in the soft glow.

Taehyung looks back at him with a soft gaze.. one that Yoongi is often at the recieving end of and it effects him the same way every time without fail.. he speaks finally.

"First I'm not pretty okay.. you are the pretty one out of us and second you ruined my plans for tonight."

He says sulking.

"First you need to understand that you are not pretty cause you're the prettiest Hyungie.. and second what did you plan for us that i ruined.. that got you sulking.. hmm..?"

Taehyung spoke copying Yoongi's tone but smirking by the end of it.

Yoongi hit him lightly on chest at his suggestive remark and spoke.

"Go to sleep you brat we are here to relax and take a break and not to stay up late at night and get eye bags."

He said and turned around in Taehyung's bear hug that he loved so much.. making himself comfortable and snuggling back into Taehyung till his back was fully attached to Taehyung's chest.

"Good night Hyung.."

Taehyung whispered softly close to his ear.

"Good night little guy.."

And just like that they both let the tiredness of the day get to them and sleep claim them.

Wanna know Taehyung's biggest achievement of the day.. he got to start his day with hugging Yoongi and he gets to end it that way too.

The next day has been nice and peaceful so far.. the members had a late breakfast that very well served as lunch.. they are all just relaxing.. but all in their different ways for example Jimin has been making a little song about Hoseok waking him up.. Taehyung, Namjoon and Hoseok are making their little models to play with.. Hoseok is making a plane he couldn't make as a child and Taehyung and Namjoon are making little remote control boats.. that they plan on sailing in the little lake near their house.. Jin is all set to go boating and he has asked Yoongi on text to join him and who was Yoongi to deny him anything.. and Jungkook is practicing with his guitar playing "lost stars" seems like that's the only song he knows how to play so far.

Yoongi is getting ready to go boating with Jin but before he can leave the van.. he sends a quick message to Taehyung making sure to invite him in case they both are free by the time Yoongi is done boating.. so they can spend some time together.

He hits sent and instantly wonders if he is coming of as needy or something to the younger.. he thinks of deleting the texts but he can't he doesn't want to worry the younger and also its just he really wants to spend time with the younger these days.. like all the time and as much as he likes his personal space he likes it a bit more when the younger is in it.. like when he is here with Yoongi.. holding his hand or maybe just resting his feet on his lap or hugging him from the back.. anything just anything.. Yoongi craves those.. loves them.

A few minutes after sending he gets a reply from Taehyung.

But i guess I'll be free by four in the noon ..

So if you wanna come to my van and stay for a little while

I would love to spend as much time with you as possible .. i should be done by four too

Yoongi smiles at the words.. he loves these little cute things Taehyung does.. how he always makes their little hangouts more special by adding their favourite things to them.. he really can't wait for them to finally spend some time together.

And if Taehyung's heart soared and left for Venus at Yoongi's texts.. he doesn't want anyone to know that.

They just finished the big bowl of spicy barbeque flavoured ramen that Taehyung bought even though he can't eat spicy food well he and Yoongi both know that he loves this flavour too much to care about his spice tolerance.. they watched "The Lion King" because Taehyung kept insisting he eats spicy food well with his childhood favourites and now are sitting on the little couch in the van.

Yoongi is back to working on the track he needed to work on and Taehyung is sitting beside him hugging him from the side.. face in the crook of his neck and eyes fluttering shut every once a while listening to Yoongi's melodious, deep and soothing humming.

Taehyung mumbles something about how he could fall asleep listening to Yoongi in his neck getting closer.. his breath warm tickling Yoongi.
Yoongi thinks of replying something petty like "Is this your new way of telling I'm so boring that you can simply fall asleep to everything i do.." but before he can do or say anything he feels it.

Its soft at first.. a feather light touch.. something that makes Yoongi's stomach flutter with butterflies.. and softer the second time.. still feather like but the third one is less tentative and more open mouthed.. they are 𝑘𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑠.. being pressed right onto his neck.. he arches his neck on instinct and that's when it breaks.

The moment broken and both of them frozen.. Taehyung's face is still near his neck but he is not breathing.. and so is Yoongi both frozen in the moment.. the air thickens almost instantly with unsaid words and fears.. its Taehyung who moves first hurriedly apologising for what happened and leaving with his head low and shoulders as tense as they are when he feels like he ruined something or made a mistake.

Yoongi couldn't do anything.. couldn't say anything too.. couldn't stop Taehyung.. or ask him what just happened but with how the younger had left without a word.. one thing was clear something broke.. maybe it was the serenity of the moment they were sharing just a minute ago.. maybe it was their promise to spend as much as time possible together.. maybe it was the ramen bowl that fell when Taehyung jerked back from Yoongi like Yoongi repulsed him.. or maybe it was 𝘠𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪'𝘴 heart that broke when the younger left without a word.. Taehyung never left without a word not even when they fought their worst fights.

Something wet slides down his cheek.. he touches it to find that it was a tear oh so he's crying.. well something definitely broke today.. he's just hoping it's not their friendship.. their relationship or 𝘛𝘢𝘦𝘩𝘺𝘶𝘯𝘨'𝘴 heart.

Yoongi looks out of the window of the camper van with dried tears on his cheek and the broken bowl now in the trash... it has been an hour since Taehyung left him.. and his thoughts alone.. he felt so many emotions at the moment.. a lot of it was plain sadness.. that it overwhelmed him and he didn't deem it right to act on any of his instincts to either ask the younger what was wrong immediately.. or just follow him to know what he was feeling

No, Yoongi knows better than to try to solve an issue when one is overwhelmed with emotions.. emotions lead to an irrational approach and thats just like inviting a fight.. and he didn't want to do that.. but its been an hour now.. and he can see Taehyung and Namjoon playing with their remote control boats from where he is

Taehyung looks happy too.. a genuine smile on his ethereal face.. he is giggling and playing around with Namjoon.. he's happy his little guy is smiling again.. and Yoongi thinks maybe he has overcome the anxious or worried state he left his van in.. a wave of maybes are rushing at him.. the river flowing through him has left a few questions at the shore of his mind.. what if what happened.. happened cause maybe Taehyung returns his feelings.. he has been pushing his thoughts and feelings about Taehyung back for a while now.. he had been putting aside his clear as day affection for the younger.. not paying much mind to how his heart raced near the younger.. has been lying to himself that he does not miss the younger every time they are not together.. has been ignoring the steadily growing disappointment that grew within him everytime he woke up and his limbs weren't tangled with Taehyung's.. has been telling himself that he doesn't have to feel all this for someone cause he loves them in a way that's not platonic.. has been lying and hiding his feelings but maybe just maybe he doesn't have to.

Maybe the kisses he felt on his neck.. the feather light touches meant more.. they definitely felt like the younger was trying to be very careful but at the same time didn't even know he was pressing kisses in the crook of his neck till the last open mouthed kiss broke him out of the trance. He thinks of how soft the moment they were caught in was.. it felt beautiful and serene but above all the kisses felt 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.. so maybe the younger had kissed him because he likes Yoongi too.. maybe the kisses meant more and maybe he walked away disappointed and sad cause Yoongi didn't react the way Taehyung thought he would.. it makes sense why else would Taehyung always stick by his side.. always make sure that they hold hand or are touching in some way.. and also be giant baby in bed and always cuddle him and sleep with him.. be attached at the hip.. always praise him and even fight to be in the same team as him in Run BTS and all. If he didn't like him the way Yoongi likes him.

What if he really did like Yoongi back.. and.. and they could be more than what they are right now.. don't get him wrong he loves what they are but being more than friends with the person he's so in love with just sounds hundred times better than being just friends.. then there was no need for Taehyung to be afraid.. Yoongi will react just how Taehyung wanted.. he will make him happy again and maybe they will become more.. if things go right. If things go right it will be the most beautiful moment of his life.. Oh God he can't wait !

And with that thought he calls Taehyung. He has to wait for a moment before his call is received.. (Taehyung picks up the call and doesn't speak anything but Yoongi doesn't pay it much mind.. maybe he should have..) he feels giddy and doesn't know what to say.. so he says what feels right in the moment.. "Hey Taehyung.. can you come to my van again if you weren't busy with anything.. i think we need to talk.." he tries to hide his excitement as much as possible so that the younger is surprised when he gets here.. when he comes to know Yoongi knows now and is ready to be whatever Taehyung wants him to be... he waits happily for the reply but the silence he is greeted with from the other side sends him into a mild panic.. his anxiety making itself known with how his stomach falls into the deep pits of the unknown. He thinks of saying something again but Taehyung speaks a moment later breaking him out of his thoughts .. he lets out a deep sigh before saying...

"Umm.. Hyung I'm sorry for what happened back in the van.. i-it was a m-mistake.. i swear it won't happen again and also can we please not talk about it for now.. is it okay..? i really don't wanna talk about it.." He says in an almost pleading tone.

Yoongi doesn't say anything for what feels like an eternity the words that were just spoken by the younger laying heavy on his chest that was fluttering with butterflies just a moment ago.. his words echoing through his mind and leaving him feeling dizzy and sick. He musters up what little courage is left in him.. making sure his voice doesn't break while he speaks before he says.. "Oh.. I-I see.. its okay Taehyung-ah.. hyung doesn't mind.. you- you don't need to feel bad about it and..- yeah that's all I had to say.. see you? At dinner then..?

But what he really wanted to ask was "𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺? 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘦 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦?"

"O-Okay Hyung.. see you at dinner.. a-and I'm so sorry.."

And what Taehyung really wanted to say is definitely not what he said.

And with that the call disconnects.

Yoongi looks at his hands that were nowclammy with sweat. He can't believe it how did the most beautiful moment of his life.. turn into this.. into his little guy apologising to him about what happened and even going as far as asking him not to talk about it.. the kisses. He was pleading.

So they were a mistake after all.. okay.. Yoongi gets it now he got way ahead of himself.. he wants to laugh with how broken hearted he is getting over his imaginary happiness.. the irony of the situation is funny.. just a few ordinary kisses that are almost always shared between the maknaes especially.. got him all happy and now is the time he pays the price for the momentary happiness.. he doesn't blame Taehyung though. He is boring and not fun to be around and still the younger pushes so much.. tries to keep his sorry self company.. it was rude and selfish of him to expect more..𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘶𝘥𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘪𝘯 𝘠𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘳.. he is not the type of people who get to be happier.. he should be thankful he could be at the recieving end of Kim Taehyung's attention for so long.. but it never belonged to him so.. How could he keep it? How could he be happier?

How could he even think of getting something good in his life.. he knows anyone who looks at him will like to say he's got it all.. works on what he loves.. earns through it and has got the best fanbase and that all in all honesty overwhelmes him sometimes.. but he is grateful none the less.

What he really wants, needs and will never get is the love of the guy he has been loving from afar for the longest time now. When you look at it its easy to forget how different he and Taehyung are when they together laying in the same bed.. talking in same hushed tones.. breathing the same air.. when his little guy holds him like his life depends on it.. when Taehyung tells him he loves him maybe not in the way Yoongi wants but it still means the world to him .. when Kim Taehyung is here all his demons are gone.

But when he is not with him.. he can't help but feel like he is missing something.. something like his heart.. As clingy as it makes him he really wants to be with his little guy all the time.. but that's impossible seeing how monotonous and boring Yoongi is and how full of life.. passions.. and friends Taehyung is.. still he can't help it the jealousy that licks at his skin from within like a fire.. when Taehyung is laughing freely with someone else holding them.. when he is being all cute for one of his Hyung friends.. when he is just spending a little more time with someone else.. Yoongi wants it to be him.. he 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 it to be him.. to be the one who makes Taehyung smile..who makes him laugh.. to be the one he holds.. to be the one he is being cute for.. to be the one he spends the rest of his life with.. but who is he fooling thats all a mirage.. wishful thinking thats what it is and the 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 is he is alone by choice most of the times but 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘺 by fate.

And his needs only seem to be fulfilled when Taehyung is around.. when he acts like he likes Yoongi's company as much as Yoongi likes his.. when he acts like he craves Yoongi's presence as much as Yoongi craves his.. but you see the keyword 𝘢𝘤𝘵.. now that what happened is done.. Yoongi can't help but feel like that Taehyung just pitied him and acted like he really liked Yoongi's company being the sweet heart he was.. he most probably wanted Yoongi to be happy but really didn't want to be around.. but when 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥.. 𝘩𝘦- 𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵..

He can't believe it his little guy left and will most probably never know how is Hyungie loved him and will always keep loving him from afar.

Well if that's how things are thats what Yoongi will do too.. he will act like he is fine too.. even if a part of him just died.. he will not run after what never was his to begin with.. but he will still atleast try to save what they had.. his and Taehyung's friendship. His baby dongsaeng may never be what he wants him to be for them.. but he will always be his dongsaeng and nothing can change that.

And if a lone tear slipped down Taehyung's already tear stained and blotchy face.. at the memory of what just happened between him and his Hyungie he doesn't let anyone know.. not even Namjoon who has always been very good at seeing through his mask and right at his raw emotions these days.

They didn't see each other at dinner.. or maybe they did if sitting in the same room but not even looking at one person.. like Taehyung did to Yoongi and acting like they're not even here.. was to be counted.

But once again Yoongi doesn't know what to do or say when Taehyung looks so quiet, fragile and doesn't actively avoid him just makes sure they aren't sitting next to each other and also if he wants something he would just ask someone else to pass it to him.. Yoongi wants to ask him if this is how things are going to be for them or things will get better.

But one look at his face makes it clear to him that his little guy had 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 ( he doesn't really know why he cried.. but his heart breaks at the sight of his tear stained face all the same) and he can't just force him to talk about something the younger had pleaded him not to mention.. the food was good but Yoongi couldn't eat much of it.. so he ate little quickly and busied himself with cleaning and all.

But looks like everyone really fell for his acting.. (maybe someone didn't) the way he actively participated in reminiscing the past and old days.. maybe it was easier for him cause baby Taehyungie of the debut years was even more annoying but the cutest little bean and Yoongi swore to his life back then he would always cherish and love his little guy. And he plans on keeping his promise.. he will make him happy again even if they can not go back to how it used to be.. the sleeping together.. the cuddling.. the talking late at the night and the promise of spending a lot of time together may not be possible but he won't let him cry twice about the same thing.

And if that night Taehyung cried quietly face hidden in his pillow because one look at Yoongi and he knew his Hyungie had 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 (he doesn't know why but it feels like it has to do with him.. and it breaks his heart to know that) no one gets to know and maybe sleep came to him very late that night cause Yoongi's soft scent and even softer words and touches weren't caressing him.. he cries harder when he recollects everything he just lost today and cries himself to sleep.

The next morning was when.. 𝘑𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘢𝘦𝘩𝘺𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘠𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪..

When he first saw both of them 𝘯𝘰𝘵 coming out of the same bedroom or Yoongi's camper.. he just knew something was wrong. They all knew how these two were just so close and attached at the hip.. they were like magnets always gravitating towards one another like the moon and the stars just like those celestial bodies spend little time together .. but its always them who's together at the end of the day just like these two were.. never apart.. Hyungie and little guy were the two honey sweet nick names both had for each other.. and even if he was Kim SeokJin and everything disgusted him but these sickeningly sweet babies of his didn't.. infact he loved their bond and always thought they will end up dating some day.. even their fights were cute.. always resolved by a lot of hand holding and cute stuff and some times with tears and smiles.

So this was not what Jin was expecting when he woke up all his kids this morning.. Yoongi being the most obedient one got up first and went straight to freshen up while Jin went to wake the others up.

Once all of them got up and ready for the day. They all assembled in the front yard of the two houses quickly as today's breakfast or more of lunch was everyone's favourite.. the one and only ramyeon and that too cooked on an iron skillet.

Him and Yoongi were as usual incharge of cooking and rest of the members walking around like puppies helping with little things like arranging the table, chopping vegetables, or just for moral support.. and some like not-so-early bird Jimin were still sleeping.

He knows Yoongi loved to cook for all of them.. more than he does honestly.. he only likes to cook when he wants to.. so it was no surprise how the younger was busy making the best ramyeon they all will eat.. but something does come to his surprise and that was Taehyung's quietness and the absence of his never ending praise for Yoongi.. like the younger always does that.. appreciates everything Yoongi does and especially cooks and also loves to just stick around to Yoongi if he already wasn't busy with something else.. so this only further proves his doubts that there was definitely something up with these two.

He can well recall how far does actually Taehyung's affection go for Yoongi.. like that one time when all Yoongi did was cook Kimchi Jjigae last year.. when they were shooting for Bon Voyage four and Taehyung asked Yoongi to let him taste some of what he was cooking and just by tasting the baby practically started beaming at him and told him how pleased he was and also started his little game of showing how he marveled the taste.. even Yoongi participated and entertained Taehyung's antics.. it was cute and so warm to witness those two being so cute together.

And that other time when they were having a cooking competition once again in Run BTS and Taehyung just silently went to Yoongi.. took his hand and started bringing him to his team so that he got be with him and cook with him.. and even though Jin probably should have minded that cause he was the other chef for their teams.. he couldn't help but just be more endeared by those two.

So now seeing how Taehyung was right there with the rest of them and so close to Yoongi yet he wasn't speaking especially not to Yoongi.. it was especially sad and almost heartbreaking cause lemme tell you a secret Kim Seokjin is all cool and chill but only till it comes to his favourite ship.. yes he ships these idiots who always seem to dance around each other and he isn't even hurt by the slow burn.. he likes it too cause they're just so cute but he's 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 seen 𝘛𝘢𝘦𝘩𝘺𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘠𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪 and he's a little concerned.

Even now Taehyung was just occasionally helping with small stuff but not uttering a word to his Hyungie.. who was happily (well Jin can tell when his little dongsaeng is pretending but he will still like to think Yoongi is a tiny bit happy for his own heart's sake.. ) cooking one of Taehyung's favourites and also made sure to add spring onions and egg to the ramyeon cause by now everyone knows how Taehyung loves to eat his ramyeon like that. He really wants to ask what happened but its not his place to speak in anyone's issues he knows that.. he just hopes whatever it is they will sort it real soon.. he loves it when they are being all loving and sickeningly sweet around him.

The breakfast or rather brunch is done nearly in fifteen minutes after being served.. seeing how delicious Yoongi's cooking is.. and now its just a few members doing the cleaning and a few playing around. Jin knows he shouldn't but he really can't help but ask his baby dongsaeng just a little something about what happened. So he does. He goes to Yoongi who is sitting their on a camping chair.. a book in his hand and a faraway look in his eyes.

He speaks once he takes a sit next to a lost in thought Yoongi..

"Yah Yoongi-ah what is going on you seem very lost ever since breakfast.. are you okay ?"

Yoongi looks at him in something between surprise and panic like he wasn't expecting anyone to be able to look past his act. Well what can he say Jin has always secretly loved his little dongsaeng so much he can't help but look out for him the most cause that little angel is always pretending to be fine for others sake and never really take care of himself.. so someone has to do the necessary.

"Hey hyungie.. didn't see you coming.. how are you and no I'm not lost maybe a little full from eating but not lost at all.."

He babbles out and then his gaze seems to drift off Jin's face and goes to someone else.. Jin looks back just in time to see the someone who has been the cause of his concerns ever since this morning.. Yoongi's gaze at Taehyung is sad.. its so full of longing that it hurts Jin to look them like this.. so he finally says what he came here for.

"Yoongi, kiddo is everything between you and Taehyungie okay?"

"Yes why??"

Many things suit Yoongi but lying for one didn't suit his baby but Seokjin knows better than to push Yoongi so he says..

"Okay Yoongi but lemme know if there's something bothering you..."

Yoongi looks at him with the saddest eyes but nods nonetheless.

Jin wishes there was something he could do.

The realisation that Taehyung and Yoongi were avoiding each other hit Jimin when he was just playing around...

Jimin when it comes to it thinks he's the most perceptive one of the group maybe not more than his hyungs but atleast perceptive just like them so when he sees Taehyung walk in their main house he doesn't think much of it than maybe his soulmate missed him but what surprises him is that Yoongi who was meticulously painting away on a canvas almost twice his size is carefully and pointedly ignored by Taehyung.

And Jimin means it when he says it Taehyung never not appreciates Yoongi when he can it's his second nature to blabber about whatever Yoongi does be it his rap, albums, music, his teeth, handwriting you name it.. so Jimin is more than shocked when Taehyung makes a point of not even looking at Yoongi as he enters the room to probably play with the karaoke some more.

And what's more shocking is that Yoongi was painting... one of Taehyung's favourite hobbies and he definitely remembers Taehyung praising everyone who paints near him..

Jimin looks behind Taehyung to see Yoongi blinking rapidly at his canvas and it doesn't take a genius to tell that the negligence by Yoongi's otherwise other half had hurt him.

Jimin has half a mind to nag at his soulmate but the cameraman in the same room as them and the numerous other cameras stop him.. so he does the other thing he really is good at he observes..

He observes how Taehyung isn't looking like his usual impeccable self how his eyes look more puffy than how they do when he has slept less so once again it doesn't take a genius to tell that his soulmate had been crying...

But what had happened between the two who were always so intune with each other Taehyung and Yoongi were nothing if not the epitome of subtle but there like their affection for each other that was subtle to anyone who doesn't know them but If you do they are almost as in your face as Vmin's cute friendship.

Jimin shakes his head now was not the time to think about Yoongi and Taehyung's possible fall out.. he welcomes his lost soulmate with a smile and the hurt boy smiles his own perfectly mastered fake smile and they start singing to the karaoke in the room..

He wishes whatever has gone wrong gets better soon it's painful to see the best duo so sad and apart like this Jimin doesn't say it but everytime he sees Taehyung clinging to Yoongi and Yoongi smiling his cute gummy smile he's more sure these two would get married someday his babies.. and yeah Yoongi maybe older but he's Jimin's baby nonetheless..

And if Yoongi wiped at his tears that seemed to flow easily around Taehyung these days.. discreetly thinking nobody saw him he was wrong cause Jimin did.

And Taehyung did too if the prickly feeling in his own eyes anything to go by.

Taehyung wishes he wasn't so incompetent and that Yoongi so out of his league so maybe he could let the angel of a man, the most successful idol and the most gorgeous human being know he's completely and hopelessly in love with him and not just live in the fantasy world he makes when Yoongi's in his arms.

If only he hadn't kissed him unconsciously.. if he only hadn't given into the hopeless desire of loving Yoongi like he wants to... he would be with his Hyung right now and not hopelessly avoiding each other.

The avoidance every second of it kills him and he knows Yoongi hates it too anyone would but he is not fighting two fights like Taehyung is.. so he can't help his Hyung until his own mind settles...

He wonders on lonely nights though what wouldv'e Yoongi said if he hadn't chickened out and actually went to him and confessed like he should've even if it could only ever be met with rejection.

But for now he can only look when Yoongi isn't and keep his love at bay he misses him though how Yoongi would protect him from everything but he can't protect his baby dongsaeng from his own self.

Funny how that works.

Love. Taehyung hates it.

Makes him want to give up wrong and right and give Yoongi the biggest longest kiss and not call it a mistake afterwards, confess and make it right but it's only a daydream a mirage.

This is real world and Taehyung doesn't get Yoongi to love him back just cause he wants to here.

Chapter Text

One night after work is when Hobi realises Taehyung may have something more for Yoongi than just platonic feelings or maybe they both do..

Once the day is done Hobi finally sits down on the living room floor of the main house and sees all the members return to their rooms to rest or to take some time to themselves away from the shooting and he's going to do the same when he sees it...

From the glass windows of the main house Taehyung is standing in the middle of the grass patch, looking at Yoongi's retreating form to his camper van with so much longing one would think Yoongi was leaving the country and not just going back to his van.

When he gets up from his place and walks out the door he sees it..

Yoongi looks back as if sensing a presence behind him and is not one bit surprised to see the younger there.. 

From where he is Hobi just sees Taehyung looking at Yoongi and their faces sadden as if reminded of something sad... Wait didn't they sleep together mostly? so why is Yoongi not taking Taehyung along with him?? and Why is Taehyung not clinging to Yoongi these days as he usually does Hobi feels like he's behind on something..

He stands there and sees how with that look on Yoongi's face he turns his back to Taehyung and leaves.. leaving Taehyung standing.

Wait are they tears?

Was Taehyung crying?

But why?

It had to be tears or else why would Taehyung rub his eyes so harshly and hiccups would rack his body.

Hobi feels like he just saw something that wasn't meant for him but why had the love birds fallen out so bad.. why would Yoongi leave a crying Taehyung alone with the most devasted look on his face too.. what was happening...??

In his panicked haze he didn't see Taehyung quickly wiping his tears and walking back towards him most probably to his shared room with Hobi that he said clearly he wasn't really going to sleep in and it was fine cause everyone knows Taehyung sleeps better with Yoongi and Yoongi does too.. but has been sleeping away from ever since the second day here..

When Taehyung is just a hands length away Hobi finally speaks..

"Hey baby bear is everything okay?? You look-"

He's cut of mid sentence as Taehyung wraps his long arms around him and cries in his shoulder repeating that he was not okay and that nothing would be okay anymore now that he lost him.

Whom? He couldn't be talking about Yoongi.. Hobi knows his hyung he would never leave either of them no matter what happened and Taehyung knows it too so why would Taehyung think that he lost Yoongi..

He pacifies the younger and hugs him back whispering sweet nothings telling him to let it all out and then he'll be fine...

But Taehyung just keeps saying that he wants to go back to when it was easy why did he fuck the one thing up that was the most precious to him.. 

Hobi wishes he had the answers to the crying boy but all he had was cuddles and resurrance so thats what he did and took the now sniffling boy to their room.

And if Yoongi watched from the window of his camper van and regretted leaving a crying Taehyung with loud sobs of his own he thinks only the walls would know.

 He loves Taehyung and it devastes him, this distance between them and he knows though Taehyung doesn't love him like he loves him this distance still hurts him he hopes one day he'll be brave enough to go make his little guy happy again to make things right.

That's the last thought on Yoongi's mind as he welcomes an uneasy slumber.

Sad how Namjoon realised Yoongi likes Taehyung when they'd been avoiding each other for days..

Namjoon always knew that his work as the leader of the group wouldn't be easy seeing as he had two members elder to him and three babies to look after and one hyper active but cute friend.

But honestly it's never felt as difficult as it does today.

Seeing as his best support and most reliable Hyung, Yoongi, was in a constant state of hiding his emotions and dry comments but internally struggling with the one thing he won't let anyone see but was also the world's worst kept secret as anyone with eyes knew it had to do with his and Taehyung's sudden distant behaviour and avoidance of each other.

It's difficult cause Taehyung his best dongsaeng won't tell him what's keeping the frown permanently etched on his face (he suspects that it's his distance from Yoongi but it won't be him if he over assumed) and he too just like Yoongi had a nack for deflection and running from their problem or fight whatever it was.

So these two weren't talking at all.

He's been noticing ofcourse he's not blind that they weren't talking before too but today the distance between Yoongi and Taehyung feels a little bit bigger than the other days. 

And now Namjoon was in the middle of something he couldn't have seen coming even a few days ago but now Taehyung was serenading to him he was just playing they all knew.. singing a trot song and dedicating it to Namjoon is the most Taehyung thing to do but the thing is when Taehyung does such things they are not always but mostly directed towards Yoongi.

To which in return Yoongi gets shy or sometimes tries to act tough and rambles about how this is violating some rights in Yoongi's books but mostly he happily blushes like he did that one run episode he which Taehyung literally ran after him and all this just to team up with him. Cute.

It's not cute now with so much tension in the air or maybe just Namjoon's mind.

And Namjoon hates it how while Taehyung was playing around and that made him happy to see him not sullen it also made him a bit anxious cause right there on the grass patch under the umbrella was Yoongi reading his book but even seeing as calm and serene Yoongi looked while reading Namjoon was anxious he won't be like that once he hears Taehyung doing what he usually did with Yoongi.. to someone else.

And he was right in his doubts because just as he decides that maybe he should just play along with the younger and not worry so much about the consequences.

He sees Yoongi look at Taehyung and then look away as if the sight physically hurt him.

This makes him think that he knows that in the whole group Yoongi may be the softest group member and love all the members so much.. but he loved or atleast liked Taehyung a little differently why else would he clearly be jealous or saddened by Taehyung just playing with some one else like he usually does with Yoongi.. maybe it's not jealousy but the feeling of being left out or being neglected whatever is it Namjoon feels torn between being happy for Taehyung that he may have come out of his slump or sad that Yoongi seems to be caught up in a much difficult situation than what Namjoon thought previously.

It hurts seeing them like this so close yet so distant with each other they don't acknowledge each other any more he thinks he hasn't seen them talk since they've got here or maybe it's an exaggeration but he doesn't know anymore.

Everything inside him hopes that Yoongi's affection for Taehyung if not returned like he completely expects.. will be atleast be dealt with care if Taehyung came to know.

Though a part of him knows Taehyung loves Yoongi just as much if not more.

Jungkook thinks Taehyung and Yoongi should be together since they are clearly so in love... so why aren't they?

Jin knew Jungkook was always a smart kid.

 Too smart sometimes for his age so when he calls all the members except Taehyung and Yoongi to his room on the boat house while Taehyung was alone on the canoe and Yoongi was working on some track, he knew the kid had finally caught up to whatever Taehyung and Yoongi were clearly going through.

So maybe not that smart but hey Taehyung and Yoongi are very good at acting all fine and playing around or being productive like they've been even when their relationship was suffering like this.

Jungkook waited and waited and the first to burst through the door was his Jimin Hyung whining about being sleep deprived and warning Jungkook that whatever he wanted to talk better be important.

To which Jungkook has a fond look on his face as he says that he needs to tell them all something so let's wait till they all are here.

So once everyone was there Jungkook spoke.

"Hyungs I've gathered everyone here cause I think we all know by now that Taehyungie Hyung and Yoongi Hyung aren't happy and also aren't talking at all. 

Also they've obviously got something going on judging from the complete disregard Taehyungie hyung had for my wishes to cuddle with my kitten hyung before coming here and threatened me to let him have his time with hyung, so what on earth happened now?"

To which everyone looked shocked at first but then nodded cause they were all used to Daegu boys and their antics to just sometimes (subtly like Yoongi and loudly like Taehyung but anyways) stay by each other's side.

After recovering from Jungkook's rant, Hosoek spoke first.

"Oh that completely sounds like a Taehyung thing to do also that reminds me of the other day.

 Even i saw them looking at each other sadly, it was at night Yoongi Hyung was going to his camper and Taehyung was just standing there looking at him with longing and i swear to God if that wasn't the saddest thing ever.. what made it worse was Taehyung was crying too and I think Yoongi Hyung was sniffling as he left.. there's definitely something up."

It was pin drop silence cause even though everyone suspected something was wrong but no one thought it got this bad.

 Also Jungkook's rant was a regular one cause Taehyung was like that always annoying the maknae but loving him so much as well, but this was serious.

Then Jin spoke.

"Exactly thats what I've been meaning to say like what fight makes two friends so sad that they either ignore each other completely or look at each other when they think the other isn't looking with so much longing." He continues.

"Also Taehyung ignored Yoongi and didn't say anything about Yoongi cooking his favourite meals when the boy would literally worship the ground Yoongi walks on if he could."

"Hyung I think it's cause they love each other so much like we all do and were so close that this hurts them so differently."

Said Namjoon but he clearly was hiding something which was weird cause what is there to hide?

Jimin sensed it and asked..

"Hyung why do I think you're hiding something is there something we should know?"

Namjoon was about to shake his head when Jungkook cuts in.

"Hyung if you're trying to hide the fact that Taehyungie hyung and Yoongi hyung definitely are in love then you don't have to cause we all know."

He said it and like a switch flipped cause though they all suspected no one had said it so openly till now... everyone was quite.

Until Hobi spoke again.

"You're right Kook cause the day I saw Taehyungie so sad i couldn't leave before he saw me and then he just came to me rubbing his eyes, so i asked him if was okay and then he hugged me and started crying again saying that he was not okay and that it all went wrong and that nothings okay and that He lost him."

"He lost whom?"

Jin couldn't help but ask. He was mostly trying to not interrupt so he could listen but this was something he wasn't expecting, what had even happened??

Jimin was quick to speak this time.

"Hyung I'm sure Tae is talking about Yoongi Hyungie I'm sure somethings very wrong like why else would he pointedly ignore Yoongi and then be so sad about it but try to hide it cause ofcourse he doesn't want anyone to know, but it really hurts seeing them like this cause Yoongi Hyung is either constantly sad and quiet much like Taehyung or they're trying to look happy too hard." 

"And this is why I called you guys cause I saw something else too and not like usual Taehyungie Hyung behaviour.. and thought we needed to talk about it.. "

Jungkook continues.

"So when we went back to the company for group stuff this week and we were in Genius lab to record our parts for some track, me and Taehyungie Hyung.

He got all sad all of a sudden saying he's going to miss sleeping here or just waiting for Hyung to finish working and how this isn't his place anymore.

 I didn't ask anything cause he felt like he didn't want to talk about it just wanted to say that and then when Yijeong-ssi came to work with Yoongi Hyung thats when shit went down.

They started working while we were waiting for the melody to be set before we sang like we usually do but that day, Taehyungie Hyung kept glaring at Yijeong-ssi every time he so much as breathed in Yoongi hyung's direction and i don't want to sound weird about it but I'm sure he forgot I was even there cause one moment he was glaring and the other he was actively trying to distract himself and started looking at his phone some selca of his and Hyung they looked so happy, made me sad not gonna lie.

And Taehyungie Hyung seemed really sad when Yoongi Hyung called him but didn't even look back at him just asked him to sing like he was working with some acquaintance and not literally Taehyungie Hyung his little guy. And i could also tell being away from Taehyungie Hyung was hurting Yoongi Hyung too so I wonder what really went wrong and why are they being like this."

Jungkook finishes and it's a surprise to no one now that the kid wanted to talk to everyone this was serious Taehyung and Yoongi clearly had feelings for each other so why were they trying to hide it and hurt like this.

They couldn't finish their discussion as the crew members informed them it was time to shoot again and that they needed to gather for dinner too.

But Jungkook knew now that he told it to his Hyungs that if his Hyungs don't get their act together soon.. he'll probably try to help seeing as he was their biggest supporter and couldn't see any of his Hyungs hurting.

Taehyung loves Yoongi and Yoongi doesn't that's how it is right?

Taehyung knows he's fucked up the moment he ran out of Yoongi's van without explaining as to why did he suddenly kiss Yoongi on his neck... Literally his neck and then didn't even talk it out when the older boy gave him a chance.

He knew he was always kind of a scaredy cat but what he did with Yoongi can't even be excused as just being scared cause he hurt him so much.

So fucking much. He knew he himself was hurting too and that sleeping without emptying his tears on his pillow didn't seem like an option these days but this was nothing compared to what Yoongi would be thinking about him.

How could he let Yoongi feel played with, Kim Taehyung would never play with anyone's feelings especially not Yoongi's...

Ofcourse Yoongi feels played why won't he, first Taehyung started his little tradition of back hugging Yoongi and when he got a taste of the closeness he always craved with Yoongi.. he couldn't just stop at a hug.. he wanted to cuddle now so he asked and Yoongi the ever giving Yoongi gave into his want and then he wanted to see Yoongi wake up in his arms so he asked to have their cute little sleep overs and ofcourse Taehyung fell so hard.. harder than he ever thought it was possible but Yoongi is perfect how could he not..

He's not blind he could tell from the day he debuted how he may have initially been a bit scared of Yoongi but once he was out there dancing his first stage show case nerves on an all time high he knew Yoongi would always protect him, he knew it when he held his hand after the show and didn't let go once till Taehyung had calmed down enough to speak.

Yoongi loved loudly through his actions he wasn't good with words but he protected Taehyung and the members all the time, and Taehyung felt safe with him, like he did on days when the world was too big and his dreams to difficult to achieve, Yoongi was his home in the otherwise vast world maybe because of their same home town or maybe because Yoongi was easy to love, so easy so Taehyung did just that.

Taehyung loves him on his happy days like when they won Artist of the year and Yoongi couldn't stop his tears because of happiness but he loved him more on days when his Hyung was going through a tough time, a challenging day.. he hugged him longer those days if he could, brought him warmer and more delicious food and just wanted to be near him even if it was just them sitting in silence.

It was enough.

As he grew up what used to be enough suddenly was not Taehyung wanted more now.. more of Yoongi.. more of his time.. more of his affection and ofcourse he wanted to be loved back but he wasn't dumb enough to think he'd get the love he had for Yoongi back. 

How could he when Yoongi was Yoongi, the best rapper producer, someone who wrote deep lyrics and had deeper thoughts and he was just Taehyung, Taehyung who had so much to say but sometimes struggled with even spoken language how could he write deep stuff when normal stuff felt difficult sometimes. 

He knew Yoongi would never love him back but that knowledge didn't stop him from wanting if not all, atleast some of Yoongi to himself and so before he could even realise it himself he found himself in Yoongi's embrace more often than not, and he wanted it like that he always wanted to hug, cuddle and fall asleep with his Hyung.

Hold him tight and never let him go and he got to do that too for long enough that Taehyung should be grateful and he is it's just when he got too comfortable, almost felt like he and Yoongi were more than just friends now with how they casually flirted and loved being together.. he had to go and fuck it up.

Like who even gives their friend an /open mouthed kiss/ on the neck and then runs away and calls it a day.. ofcourse he can never face Yoongi again or else he'll know Taehyung kissed him cause he wanted to.. wanted it so bad he just did it subconsciously.

He knows he's not in any position to ignore Yoongi but he also can't bring himself to look at him either.. the shame of what he did too much to do that.. even if it was unfair to Yoongi.

He knows Yoongi was hurt when he ignored his painting, he knows Yoongi doesn't say it but he loves getting praised so ofcourse it hurt him to be ignored by his little guy but with Yoongi ignoring him back all along he's not even sure anymore if they'll ever be back to how they used to be..

He's busy thinking about his baby hyung and what not when the staff informs him they've to gather all seven of them and Taehyung knows it's not like it's the first time he'll see Yoongi today but he definitely feels like it's going to be harder cause he just admitted to himself something he'd not really done before and now more than anything he wishes he could just run back to Yoongi's arms and maybe never leave.

Getting to do work on a vacation was Yoongi's dream vacation activity. Sue him. 

But everything that happened since he and Taehyung got here and then fell out doesn't even leave him when he's working and working on music drowns out most things for him but how could it when Yoongi keeps checking their group chat every five minutes just to know through something.. what's Taehyung upto and now that he knows they all need to gather for dinner he half wishes the first time in days they haven't spoke ... that Taehyung speaks to him today just cause he's missing his little guy extra hard today.

After dinner.

The dinner went on simply not much happening unlike how Yoongi wanted, cause he really wanted Taehyung to speak to him but atleast he could sit with him small victories right?

He's fine even if he just got to sit with his little guy and he does suspect kind of that it was the members doing seeing as when they both came the only seat left were the two at far end of the table where they sat but his heart fluttered all the same, everytime Taehyung would pass him something without even him asking or when he just would catch the younger looking at him with the softest look in his eyes as if dazed Taehyung would look away but Yoongi saw it twice he thinks maybe they'll be alright.

After all they were Taehyung and Yoongi the two who were fated if the members were to be trusted. Or maybe the bus.

During the Game..

Yoongi's trying to hide by putting a hand on his face yet anyone could tell he was smiling and why would he not, when he sat where he was sitting there were so many spaces empty but Taehyung sat next to him. His insides felt like melting ice as if Taehyung's presence was melting icy sadness and the warm happy feeling he always would get when the younger was around was returning.

The game was about going on quests and finding the mafia or something like that, honestly Yoongi didn't get much about how it was played but he knew after this maybe he and Taehyung could talk and maybe they would be friends again if not as close.. but being near the younger is enough. Really Yoongi doesn't want anything more even if that was what they used to be.

When it was Yoongi's turn he quickly just says the names of the members he was facing and not thinking about it much.

Well much to Taehyung's dismay who wanted to be chosen by Yoongi again, just this once even if it was a game and when he didn't twice he kept rejecting everyone's quest.

Seokjin who kind of sensed what was going on still asked him.

"Taehyung-ah why do you keep rejecting?"

And instantly Taehyung replied with the cutest pout damn the pout again.

Yoongi knows it when he sees it and then wonders how did he not see it before. Love.

“I don’t like how he didn’t choose me.”

Taehyung said it and yet he couldn't believe he did.

And everyone including Taehyung were stunned for a moment cause that was literally the first time they talked even if passively and then the game went on as if nothing happened.

Hobi laughed and so did the others and Taehyung continued stunning himself.

"I want to go on a quest too."

He said and felt it himself, how that was a lie in plain sight cause in reality he just wanted to be chosen by Yoongi his baby Hyungie and yes he said it out loud.

He felt sheepish as starting from there Yoongi kept glancing at him frequently from under his lashes and Taehyung left like he was constantly blushing once the game got over he quickly got up and ran to the first place he thought where no one will look for him.. the boat house.

But seeing as someone was clearly walking on the wooden floor from the sound of it he was not safe .

He knew who ever it'll be it's most probably Jimin out of all of them Jimin teased him most about his hopeless crush on Yoongi so he was quite certain he was going to be teased a lot for what he said.

So he began as Jimin opened the door..

"Jimin i know i made a fool of myself I'm happy with the knowledge and don't need to be nagged and made fun of to Neptune and back."

He huffed but funny how Jimin didn't whine right back but just came in quietly and Taehyung turned around to see and found Yoongi and not Jimin... His heart skipped a beat cause not any way in heaven's was he expecting Yoongi to show up out of nowhere and also look at him again like.. like he did when Taehyung hadn't fucked everything up.

With love.

He says.."Weren't expecting me little guy?"

And that's all it takes clearly for Taehyung to burst into quiet but very obvious sobs cause hell he didn't think Yoongi would ever call him that lovely nickname again what is he even supposed to say when Yoongi's just standing there like Taehyung never left him like the fool he was.

Yoongi was good at many things but he was never good at seeing his little guy cry so ofcourse he did the only thing he did when Taehyung so much as looked sad.. he went near to his sobbing baby and slowly untangled his folded hands and gathered him in his arms.

Taehyung's sobs got louder as Yoongi held him and it broke his heart but he didn't let that cloud his brain.. and spoke finally.

"Baby bear it's okay I'm here.. you're fine.. we're okay."

"So please baby please stop crying.. you know I can't see you like this and also you look so funny when you cry."

It wasn't the truth it was far from it but it was their inside and it did the trick Taehyung laughed. Wet from all his tears and still he did. Before crying a bit more and finally inhaling deeply to speak.

"Hyungie I'm so sorry-"

He hiccuped and Yoongi's heart broke but he just held him tighter and kissed his forehead.

He stuttered the rest of his words out.

"I-i'm s-so fucking sorry I shouldn't h-have left you like that after kissing you like that.. I was so dumb for doing that.. not kissing you never that.. even though I didn't ask for your consent-"

His words break on yet another sob and Yoongi strokes his back sympathetically and let's him hide his head in his neck like he clearly could tell Taehyung wanted to.

And he urged him to continue with a little.

"Go on baby let it all out Hyung's not going anywhere now."

Taehyung nodded and continued and Yoongi felt his lips in crook of his neck almost feeling everything he spoke on his neck.

"I should've told you I love you.. no.. that I'm in love with you.. should've let you know I've loved you for so long but i-i was scared you wouldn't love me back and we will grow apart so i didn't and then i ended up kissing you like i always want to when I'm with you and then i got so scared that you hate me now.. that i told you not mention it and called it a mistake..."

Yoongi couldn't believe it, did Taehyung just confess that he was in love with him without even looking at him.. God this was so.. he didn't have words he wanted to tell Taehyung he loved him back he so wanted too, but it'll have to wait he doesn't want to stop Taehyung right now.

So he just kissed him on the forehead and again held him closer if possible.

Taehyung continued.

"I'm so bad Hyung how could I ever call kissing you a mistake you're the best thing that ever happed to me and I called kissing you a mistake.. I'm so sorry Hyung.. so sorry that I didn't reach out even when I knew I was wrong... Sorry I ignored you and all the times didn't speak to you when that was all I wanted to do, I wanted to run back to you the moment I left and I may have appeared happy but not one moment was i okay without you, so please forgive me Hyungie and take me back.. even if you don't love me like i love you it's fine i just want my hyung back."

He finished his apology with his arms tightening around Yoongi as if Yoongi would disappear if he didn't. Yoongi just kept pressing kisses on whatever part of Taehyung he could reach in their position hoping the kisses tell Taehyung before he does.

He finally spoke once Taehyung's sobs turned into sniffles.

"Hey little guy hyung's sorry too i should've reached out sooner.. let you know the kisses were fine cause guess what.. I love you too baby.. who else.. no one compares to my baby ofcourse I love you too."

Taehyung looks up instantly from his hiding place.. it was so sudden Yoongi worries he'd snap his neck but the look on Taehyung's face was not new, shocked ofcourse but his eyes were just as soft as they were when he'd look at him when he thought Yoongi wasn't noticing, they were like how they were on lazy mornings they spent talking in hushed tones and Taehyung would keep looking at him as if memorising every curve every detail of his face.

And Yoongi realised.

Love that's how Taehyung looks at him with love in his eyes and wondered if there was love in his eyes too could Taehyung see it?

He was so busy studying Taehyung's reaction he completely missed it when his baby started pouting his cute little pout and spoke.

"Hyungie what the fuck don't tell me you  just said  you love me back when I've spent years wishing you would love me like i love you.

He continues with a stubborn pout and an even more stubborn frown.

Taehyung reluctantly breaks the kiss pouting already.. cause well he is a lame human and breathing is important too but not as much as kissing his favourite Hyung so he quickly dives right back and Yoongi welcomes him and they kiss.. kiss like their life depends on it and maybe it does...

When they break apart Yoongi breaking the kiss this time.. Taehyung speaks first voice husky and rough from not using it for so long..

"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that.."

Yoongi unlike himself blushes at that tone and then regains his self control and says..

"I think I do if how you were rambling about kissing me before I kissed you is anything to go by."

And Taehyung instead of pouting like Yoongi expected he would just pulls Yoongi closer to himself and says without breaking their eye contact.

"Nope hyung what i said wouldn't justify what I felt even by one percent... I feel a lot about you hyung.. especially about those pretty little lips.. that perfect mouth and ofcourse can't forget your teeth.. you're just perfect.. but you'll be surprised to know your little guy doesn't always have all the cute fluffy thoughts about you.."

Now their lips are almost touching as Taehyung speaks..

"Sometimes there's a lot of skin, tinted in red and purple hues, milky and tan.. it's you and me and not much clothes hyung."

Yoongi blushes at the sudden boldness and Taehyung just laughs at his expression and kisses him again.

It's like a competition for dominance first and then a like a slow languid dance done solely by their lips.

They kiss for so long after that Taehyung's sure he's lost the feeling in his lips but it's alright cause Yoongi sighs into the kiss and it's everything.

He knows it now he could be in any part of the world but home would always be this.. him and Yoongi together are home.

And maybe his apartment too cause Yoongi almost lives there as much as he does in his own place.

So he's more than surprised when Yoongi says it.

"I love you Taehyung-ah."

He's surprised but would be a fool if he didn't say it back.

"I love you too Yoongi hyung."

Yoongi beams at him his gummy smile impossibility wider and it feels like Taehyung's smiling too so wide it hurts his face but he's never been happier and then he pulls Yoongi again into a kiss cause honestly now that he's got a taste he just can't stop.

He's not sure who did what but now they are lying down on the bed now with him on top of Yoongi and it's so easy, perfect ofcourse but also like he is home, like this is where he belongs.

Yoongi's hands are shy but still travel to his bare waist his shirt having rode up a little during their make out session.. and hey Taehyung can't believe he just made out with the most beautiful smiling angel of this universe. Even if he admitted to having all kinds of sexy thoughts for the same human.

And now the said man has his hands on his bare waist.. and Taehyung can't resist the urge to hide.. he's shy okay.. his momentary bravery wasn't even bravery he was just so driven by his urge to let Yoongi know how much he wants him that he said it but his hyung he's never touched him like that..  for the I'm fine performance ofcourse but never have his hands wandered like that.

Just when Taehyung's about to break the kiss and go hide somewhere cause no way will be survive with Yoongi's big ass hands on his bare skin.. and the embarrassment of having asked for just that not even five minutes ago.

Jungkook enters and guess what he sees-

Yoongi makes no move to even remove his hands just says to Jungkook who's gone mute from the shock.

"Jungkook-ah give your hyungs some space would you?"

As if they weren't lying making out in the youngers bed right now.

And Jungkook even as sassy he is.. looks shocked if not traumatised so he just nods quickly before making his way out.

"Hyungs you won't believe what i just saw the humans sitting like a foot apart right now.. were very much making out when I came in..

Yoongi spoke shocking everyone and sending Taehyung into a coughing fit cause ofcourse they were all clearly very lightly discussing his ass if it was the weather.

Then Jin speaks all while  laughing his unique laughter.

"Yah Taehyung-ah Yoongi got your tongue hmm..??"

And Taehyung splutters before replying, only to be cut off by Hobi.

"Wow i love this development from longing to groping they all need to develop love stories like that.. Good going Taehyung and Yoongi hyung."

"It was not like that Hyung didn't touch my-"

And he was cut of again by a finally sober Jungkook.

Once the laughter subsides a little Namjoon speaks and they all half expect him to be the normal one cause he usually is the only normal one among the crackheads.

But what he says shocks everyone.

"Hyung i didn't mean to pry but the last time you gave me your laptop to listen to your work in progress i happened to stumble upon a folder named 'kth' i think we all know by now what that must mean.. so i opened it and saw so many unfinished but cute love songs... I didn't listen but the names were enough to know what they were.. so i took a screenshot and saved it you know with the folder name and songs in it too you know as blackmail material hope you don't mind.

He finishes with a dimpled smile and Taehyung can't help but feel his own cheeks warming cause if Yoongi's words from earlier were to be believed.. then the "kth" folder has to mean the songs were for him love songs.. 

God he loves Yoongi so much .. he looks at his spluttering boyfriend and wants to kiss his pretty cheekies, so he does just that.

Mumbling a quite "thankyou so much Hyung."

Yoongi is shocked by the unexpected kiss but before the blush could take over him he starts his mock angry ramble cause he's really just embarrassed not angry Taehyung knows him well.

And then Yoongi says.

His whiny voice cute.

"Yah Namjoonah.. i didn't raise you like that.. how could you snoop around on my laptop and see my special folders like that? And even take a screenshot why do you hate me so much and don't you know anything about privacy."

"Hyung I think it's safe to say that I wasn't really snooping if your special folders was really just below your tracks for d2, I wasn't looking I just saw it and you can't blame me for recognising Taehyung's initials, it's not fair."

Namjoon replied sounding way to happy and smug for Yoongi's liking

Taehyung laughs at the exchange and  says.

"Namjoonie Hyung send me the screenshots too please...  blackmail content is blackmail content i might need it too.."

"Even for boyfriends..?"

Asks Yoongi in funny voice and betrayed face.

"Yah Hyung ask him out first.."

Says Jimin smug as ever

Ofcourse they bicker then.

"How do you know Park Jimin i haven't asked my boyfriend out already.."

He says trying sound smug but Taehyung can tell there's hint of nervousness cause well Jimin is right he hasn't asked Taehyung out neither has Taehyung asked him.. so he decides to join in first and then save his hyung later. He's evil too.

"You haven't asked me out yet Hyung why are you lying?"

He asks feigning innocence.

And the previously smug Yoongi is now looking more betrayed than ever, maybe he wasn't expecting it. Looking like a kicked puppy. Aww the pout he's playing dirty he knows Taehyung won't stand much of a chance in front of that.

Jimin seemingly happy he was correct says.

"See my soulmate bond never fails I just knew you haven't asked him out yet. Ask him out Hyung and make it special."

He's smug but Yoongi not so much he looks like a lost puppy and Taehyung knows he's lost as he looks at Yoongi again and opens his mouth to say something but is cut of by Seokjin.

"Yah.. Jiminah don't bully my Yoongi-chi he's just a baby.. look at his pout how could you.. Taehyung could ask him out too.. my soulmate bond tells me, he wants Taehyung to ask him too.."

He says it jokingly but Taehyung thinks he wants to ask Yoongi out too.. Yoongi's taken all the initiative until now he wants to take some too..

So leans in and brings Yoongi closer too by his collar and then says it more than asking..

"Hyungie would you like be my boyfriend? I would play you my own love songs about you while I asking this to you but these beautiful idiots want to see it so bad.. so might as well give them a show..?

And Yoongi turns so red it's hilarious but he responds with a yes and seals the deal with a kiss. Effectively putting on a show.

The kiss is short seeing as there are other five humans there as well but it was the sweetest.. or maybe Taehyung's just whipped. No he's completely whipped and so happy he gets to be the most perfect boy's boyfriend.

"Why does it look like they just got married..?"

Hobi asks wiping a fake tear. Ofcourse he says it cause they all have a shared love for the dramatics.

And they all desolve into a second round of laughter, laughing boisterously until they all are huddled close on the small bed with Taehyung and Yoongi explaining how did they get to where the members saw them.. meaning how the got to the point of that fight or misunderstanding.

They all sympathize with them for exactly ten minutes.. before they start clowning them for their clear dumbness and oblivious asses. Taehyung knows they are making fun of them so as to not make them relive their difficult days by discussing their pain in depth but he's thankful that they all listened and wanted to help even. His family is indeed the best. This vacation has been difficult for him but he loves it so much cause it got him a beautiful boyfriend and got to relearn his members love for each other.

Yoongi is the one who starts getting up after the retelling and bullying for him and Taehyung when Jungkook brings him and Taehyung and all the others into a big group hug and congratulates them.. promising to celebrate their new and beautiful relationship better when they are back home.

Yoongi knows that just means he wants to raid Yoongi's kitchen and eat everything edible there and he loves it like that he loves how Taehyung is clearly being squished by Jin and Namjoon who are telling him how brave and strong he's been all along, but is literally glowing between them loving every second of it, he loves how Jimin may tease him so much but is clearly trying to wipe at his very real tears as he keeps hugging Yoongi for a long time and apologizes for all he's gone through and not being able to help, he also loves how Hobi is hugging the baby of the group who's crying cause ofcourse he cries whenever any of his Hyungs cry... And two of his Hyungs are crying (yes Yoongi got emotional somewhere along the line).

Once they are all gone and Jungkook himself made sure his favourite couple goes to Yoongi's van and sleep well with each other how they clearly longed to do and would do so everyday now.

He realises It's funny and not at all how he thought  Taehyung and Yoongi's  whole fight would be resolved or in the first place be about neck kisses.. it's still funny recalling Taehyung's blush when he told about the kisses himself.

It was chaotic and so bangtan but he wouldn't have his family any other way he's so happy these two got together.

Hopes they stay like that.

Yoongi loves music, everyone knows that but he loves Taehyung even more but his baby seemingly doesn't know that. Hence, he comes to genius lab almost everyday once he's done working on his own music, dance routine or vocal lessons and lies down on Yoongi's couch.. the one that Taehyung had given him biggest puppy eyes for and as much as Yoongi likes to think he'd some day win against them.. that day or today is surely not the day.

Taehyung has a habit of thinking he's sneaking in as if Yoongi can't hear the code being punched in, the door being opened or him fussing around until he finds a comfortable position to lie down and scroll his phone or watch a movie on his laptop.

It's cute so he doesn't tell Taehyung he knows he is been here even acts surprised sometimes and the big boxy smile and heavenly giggles he gets in return make the whole thing worth doing over and over again.

So after adding a few finishing touches to the verse he was working on, Yoongi turns around only to find his boyfriend fast asleep with his phone resting on his chest- he probably dropped it there- and his face smushed a little on the cushion on the couch he looks so cute and peaceful sleeping Yoongi doesn't have the heart to wake him but he knows his neck and back would hurt so much if he doesn't wake him up soon so he goes to do just that.

He kisses Taehyung's forehead and both his pretty eyelids trying to softly wake him but his baby only mumbles sleeply and tries to turn around on the big couch, Yoongi chuckles at his antics and let's him move around until he's on his stomach and then he gets on top of him and hugs him tightly.. that finally gets Taehyung to wake up.

He mumbles again something along the lines of 'Jimin-ah get of.. get of me it's not funny.. you're heavy..', Yoongi just laughs because ofcourse his boyfriend assumed it was Jimin hugging him cause it's not a very usual thing for Yoongi to do, he then shakes him a little and says,

"Are you tired little guy?"

To this it's like a switch flips and Taehyung's annoyed tone from earlier changes into his usual sweet baby pouty voice he uses with Yoongi when he's tired and sleepy or feeling soft and cute.

"Hyungiiee.. was sleeping." He says in his saccharine sweet voice. Yoongi laughs cause why is his baby so cute he knew he was sleeping but still ofcourse he'd inform him first.

"I know baby boy but this is not the right place to sleep your neck and back will hurt so much if you keep sleeping here." He says and kisses Taehyung's neck to which he sighs and melts more into the couch.

"But I was so comfortable and you were working as always and you couldn't even tell I came in.. I'm pouting even though you can't see."

Taehyung says voice getting more audible the more he's waking up.

"Why is my little guy pouting?"

"Because you woke me up when I was comfortably sleeping.. I even had a dream where I finally defeated you in basketball." He says and stops and then adds like an afterthought.

"Also I'm not little I'm taller than you."

Yoongi can't help the giggle that slips out him cause like what is even going on.. he finally gets up earning another whine from Taehyung and a "I didn't say you can go, come back.. you're nice and warm like a weighted blanket."

"Baby you're all over the place first get up we're going back to my place cause it's closer, second you were, are and will always be my little guy, height doesn't change anything, third I'm not a weighted blanket what the fuck haha.. finally to answer your question from earlier I can tell when you come here and lie down.. I just don't let you know cause you always look so happy and smug showing your sneaking skills off."

Yoongi says and punctuates the end with a kiss to his boyfriend's lips who's now turned around and was looking at him with the softest eyes even before Yoongi kissed him and ofcourse Taehyung kisses him back almost like his life depends on it.. but then he slows down to a more languid pace and after a few minutes of them softly kissing they pull away. And Taehyung speaks.

"Hyungie?"

"Hmm."

"You were really playing along?.. you love me so much that you just were doing all this to see my smile and be smug?"

"Ofcourse baby I'd do anything to see that beautiful boxy smile and you're so cute when you're smug how could I not?"

Taehyung looks suprisingly emotional like it could be the light and the angle but his eyes are shiny right now.

"I love you Hyung.. I love you so much."

He says so earnestly and with so much conviction Yoongi is at a loss of words at first cause like how did their usual banter turn into this but he's not complaining sometimes Taehyung feels emotions more intensely or differently than him so what would just be the truth to him could be something very touching for Taehyung.. but then he thinks he'd be touched too if Taehyung had just told him he loves his smile so much he makes things up so he can see it.

So he kisses him again and after kissing some more.. they finally pull away again and Taehyung says.

"You didn't even say it back."

"Say what back baby?"

"Don't play smart you know what I'm talking about.."

"I do? But i don't think I do what is it baby?"
Yoongi knows what Taehyung is talking about ofcourse he does but like hell he's letting the golden chance of teasing him go away.

"Hyuuunnnggg" Taehyung whines.

"You know what I'm saying.. I said I love you shouldn't you say something back.."

"Oh sorry dumb me.. thankyou sweetheart now shall we go?"

"If you don't say it back I'm not leaving and not talking to you either no kisses for you too."

Taehyung says pouting all along and Yoongi can't help but want to steal a kiss.. so he does and flaps his arms at him in a failed attempt to push him away.

"okay my pouty little baby.. I love you too.. so much.. now can we go?"

"No i want one more kiss and then we'll go."

Taehyung knows he should sleep and that useless scrolling is just that useless scrolling but he can't help it sometimes like when he drops a new V cut and ARMY loses it.. he has to see their reaction or when Yoongi drops a new pic, does a live or a new song he goes crazy with the scrolling cause he needs to know.

And Yoongi went live earlier today.. so it comes as no surprise to him that he just can't stop scrolling but something's got him thinking and he hates to admit pouting too..

And that is the MARRY ME comments that the fans are leaving still on twitter even.. like WHAT?? he knows Yoongi is husband material and he may be the reason, the said 'marry me' comments even exist.. but he hates to admit so many people flirting and proposing to his boyfriend makes him so jealous.

He looks some more and as soon as Yoongi comes out of the shower.. he keeps his phone down and looks at him in all his shirtless glory.. with just a towel tied around his hips and hair wet sticking to his forehead but like in a sexy sticking to his forehead way.

And he can't believe he was jealous just now by some words when he lives with the whole package that Min Yoongi is.. like he wants to laugh.. he can give ARMY that much when The Min Yoongi happily hums and sways infront of him while drying his hair that always smell so good.

Taehyung finally comes out of his thoughts when Yoongi speaks..

"Baby have you packed your stuff for leaving tomorrow?"

"Yes I did.. and I did it before hand too Hyung it has been kept beside yours for two days now." Taehyung says kind of proud cause he never packs before hand but dating Yoongi he thinks has started making him a better man.

"Hmm I haven't decided much for now Hyung but I'm taking my trumpet lessons there too and I've asked production team for some art supplies too."

Yoongi says ending with his signature flat line smile that makes his dumpling cheeks look even more cute. And Taehyung can't help but take a pic surprising Yoongi.

Once they are done kissing softly and sweetly.. Taehyung pulls away and opens his mouth to say something but Yoongi beats him to it.

"I love you so much Taehyung."

"I love you so much too Yoongi Hyung."

"Now turn around.. no don't even try you can't big spoon for shit.. I'll hold you.."

Taehyung says as Yoongi tries to resist only to give in easily too cause he is a marshmallow turned human.

And Taehyung can feel it at once when Yoongi gets comfortable in his cozy embrace, and he can't help but think about how life works in such a funny way just last year he was looking for opportunities to spend time with Yoongi, to steal him from others, even bullying Jungkook to get some more time with hsi favourite Hyung and now here they are sleeping together after a long day of work.. now discussing tomorrow's plans.. they are together sometimes Taehyung can still not believe Yoongi is his now.. but when he kisses him softly, when he calls him baby, when he knows what Taehyung wants without him saying so he knows.. this is real and that makes him so happy he could cry.

"Also don't kiss my neck and run away this time okay? Kim Taehyung."

"Just when I was getting sappy.. you had to do that.. but I won't run away.. or I won't kiss you at all."

"Hehe drama queen you can't live without kissing me so keep dreaming.."

"Yeah you're right but go to sleep you cat.. stop teasing me or we won't wake up in time."

Yoongi asks while laughing.
