Chapter 1: Starting Today, You are A Coach!

Chapter Text

Episode One: Starting Today, You are a Coach!

The door opens to have rose petals fly through the door and to reveal six gentlemen, beckoning whoever opened the door to come inside.

"Welcome to the Host Club!" They beckoned, a cheerful tone in their voice as they looked to the now revealed person to have opened the door. It was a young man who had messy brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a white dress shirt with a worn out brown sweater over it, but underneath the collar. He wore black pants and black loafers along with glasses.

"H-Host Club?" The brown haired young man asked, confused at the situation he was in.

"Oh, it's a boy," Two young men said, not surprised, but a hint of astonishment in their voices. The two young men both had ginger hair, but both parted in the opposite directions and both had amber eyes. They seemed exactly identical.

"Hikaru and Kaoru, this visitor is in the same class as you, right?" Another young gentleman asked, curiously. This young gentleman had black hair, dark brown eyes, and he wore glasses. Besides him were two other young gentlemen and in front of all of them was the last gentleman who was sitting in a chair.

The gentleman to the right of the previous gentleman had black hair and dark brown eyes and to the right of that gentleman was the shortest of the bunch who had honey-blonde hair and brown eyes. In front of all the gentlemen was the gentleman who sat in the chair. He had pale-blonde hair and violet eyes. As different as all the gentlemen were, they all wore the same uniform which consisted of a white dress shirt, a black and purple tie, a light blue suit jacket, black trousers, and black shoes.

"Yes, he is, but he isn't very sociable, so we don't know him too well," The twins, now Hikaru and Kaoru, said, blankly as they both shrugged.

The gentleman with glasses' expression went from a blank to closed eyes and a smirk that seemed smug or knowingly. A light bulb must have gone off in the gentleman's mind, causing his change in expression.

"It's impolite to say it like that. Welcome to the Ouran Host Club, Honor Student," The glasses wearing gentleman said, politely, but little emotion in his voice.

"What? Then, this exceptionally rare honor student we've heard about, Haruhi Fujioka, is you?" The violet eyed gentleman asked, curiously.

"How do you know my name?" The disheveled gentleman, now Haruhi, asked, curiously with concern.

"It's just that our school tradition makes it difficult for commoners to get in," The glasses wearing gentleman started, knowingly. The usage of the word commoner seemed to slightly tick off Haruhi. "I've been told that unless you possess a rather audacious nerve, you cannot become an honor student here," The glasses wearing gentleman finished, knowingly. The word audacious seemed to tick off Haruhi a bit more along with the combination combination of the words commoner and audacious.

"Why... Thank you..." Haruhi said, lowly, not knowing how to respond to what was just said about him. The violet eyed gentleman put his hand on Haruhi's shoulder.

"Yes! He's saying that you are a hero, Fujioka-Kun! Even though you might be at the head of the class, you are the poorest person in the whole school," The violet eyed gentleman said, dramatically as he makes dramatic hand gestures with his free hand. Haruhi quickly slides away from him.

"Maybe you lowly people are looked down upon," The violet eyed man said, dramatically as he followed Haruhi.

"No, I wouldn't necessarily go that far," Haruhi said, calmly as he slid back to his previous position, the violet eyed gentleman close behind.

"It doesn't matter, does it? Long live the poor!" The violet eyed gentleman said, dramatically as he wrapped his arm around Haruhi's shoulders. "Welcome to our world of beauty, poor man!" The violet eyed gentleman said, dramatically as he raised his arms up in a dramatic fashion.

Haruhi, on the other hand, was walking towards the door.

"Excuse me," Haruhi said, politely as he got closer to the door, not wanting to be in the room.

"Hey! Haru-chan! Haru-chan! Haru-chan, you're a hero? Amazing!" The honey-blonde gentleman exclaimed, innocently as he pulled on Haruhi's sleeve with both of his hands, due to his short stature, away from the door.

However, he had a childlike innocence.

"I'm not a hero, I'm just an honor student," Haruhi corrected. Haruhi then seemed to notice something or remember something. "And who are you calling Haru-Chan?!" Haruhi asked, angrily, however he was yelling at the honey-blonde gentleman which caused him to walk away.

"Still, to think that such a fabled, erudite student would be gay..." The violet eyed gentleman said, interest and intrigue in his voice.

"Gay?" Haruhi asked, confusedly.

"What is your preference?" The violet eyed gentleman asked, curiously. "The wild type?" The violet eyed gentleman asked, curiously as he looked to the stoic gentleman. "The boy Lolita type?" The violet eyed gentleman asked, curiously as he looked to the honey-blonde gentleman.

"The little devil type?" The violet eyed gentleman asked, curiously as he looked to the twins, Hikaru and Kaoru. "The cool type?" The violet eyed gentleman asked, curiously as he looked to the glasses wearing gentleman.

"I-It's not like that! I was just looking for a quiet place where I could study." Haruhi said, nervously as he attempted to explain his situation as he backed up a bit. The violet eyed gentleman put his hand underneath Haruhi's chin.

"Or maybe..." The violet eyed gentleman started, charmingly as he lifted Haruhi's chin up to look into his eyes while one of his other hand's fingers was on his collar. "You'd like to try me? How about it?" The violet eyed gentleman finished, charmingly as he looked into Haruhi's eyes. Haruhi, however, seemed more nervous and surprised than shocked. Haruhi, growing more and more uncomfortable, jumps away from the violet eyed gentleman's area. He accidentally hits a podium and knocks over a vase which eventually falls down and shatters, despite Haruhi's attempts to catch it.

Nervousness and shock seemed to be plastered on Haruhi's face as the vase shattered. The twins slowly got behind Haruhi.

"The renaissance vase that was to be featured in the school auction!" Kaoru said, however he didn't seem disappointed or anything of that sort, but rather blank.

"Now you've done it. We were going to start the bidding at eight million yen for that!" Hikaru said, having the same tone as his twin.

"Eight million yen!?" Haruhi exclaimed, shocked and anxious. He suddenly held his head low as he started thinking of how much that was. "How many thousand yen is that? How many thousands are in eight million?" Haruhi asked, anxiously and lowly as he was doing the math in his head and moved his fingers while doing so. He slowly got up and looked to the twins who were still behind him. "Um, can I pay you back?" He asked, lowly and anxiously.

"Could you even? You can't even afford the designated uniform," Both twins said, mockingly with a shrug as they looked towards one another. Haruhi looked shocked and offended at the comment. "What is that grubby outfit, anyway?" The twins asked, mocking Haruhi. Haruhi seemed a bit more shocked and offended at the additional comment. The glasses wearing gentleman bent down as he grabbed a piece of the shattered vase and slowly got up with a smug expression.

"What will it be, Tamaki?" The glasses wearing gentleman asked, curiously and smug to the violet eyed gentleman, now Tamaki.

"Have you ever heard this saying, Fujioka-kun? When in Rome, do as the Romans do! If you have no money, then pay with your body. Starting today, you are the Host Club's dog!" Tamaki said, dramatically as he sat down and dramatically crossed his legs then dramatically pointed. Haruhi seemed shocked and almost too tired for this.

Each gentleman gets close to Haruhi and look at her as she stares off into space.

"Poke, poke," The honey-blonde gentleman said as he poked Haruhi. Haruhi, on instant, fell over.

I was currently waiting in the hallway since I was skipping a class of mine, but it was painting which I had no trouble with. The bell rang and my two best friends, Hayami Yamamoto and Aiko Kobayashi, quickly came over to me. Hayami had a smile as she ran over to me while Aiko had a cold expression as she walked over.

"Hey, N/N!" Hayami said, happily and excited as she waved despite being close to me.

"Hey, Hayami," I said, calmly.

"Hello, L/N," Aiko said, coldly.

"Greetings, Kobayashi," I said, jokingly polite as I did an exaggerated bow. Hayami laughed at this while Aiko just rolled her eyes.

"N/N, Aiko and I were planning to go to the Host Club and we were hoping you'd join," Hayami said, innocently as she looked to me with pleading eyes. I shook my head at her.

"No, thank you though. I don't really care about those types of things, but I hope you have fun," I said, calmly.

"Oh, scared, L/N?" Aiko asked, mockingly. I scoffed at her.

"Scared? Scared of what? Guys treating me like I'm royalty when they do that with anyone who pays? No, not really," I said, sarcastically. She scoffed back at me.

"Prove it then, if you're not scared of situations with large groups of people," She said, mockingly with a smirk. Hayami seemed against what the both of us said to one another, but knew she wouldn't be able to stop us. I scoffed at her as I nodded. Aiko started leading us to the room that the Host Club was held in while Hayami was holding my hand.

We reach the room which turned out to be music room three. Aiko opened the door to reveal someone who I thought I wouldn't see in a long time, let alone in a Host Club. He looked up from his clipboard and had a calm expression, but it changed as soon as he saw me.

"Kyoya...?" I asked, curiously and shocked. His face went from shock to calm again.

"Ah, Miss/Mister L/N, it's been a while," He said, calmly.

Hayami and Aiko looked at me, in surprise, I assume, but I didn't care. He motioned for me to come to the front of the line and I reluctantly did as Hayami and Aiko followed.

"Which host would you like to spend time with?" He asked, curiously as he looked to the three of us.

"You," Aiko said, quickly and calmly. Kyoya nodded at her as he looked to me and Hayami.

"Honey and Mori, please," Hayami said, calmly. He nodded at her than looked at me.

"No one, I'll be hanging around here," I said, coldly which surprised Aiko and Hayami. He slowly nodded at me and motioned that we were free to go. I walk over to a wall that was far from most people. I see the honor student, Haruhi Fujioka, oddly walk in with what seemed like a grocery bag. He froze up as a blonde haired guy talked to him.

Haruhi puts the grocery bag near the blonde haired guy who grabbed a container of instant coffee, a good brand mind you, but he seemed confused as to what it is. He seemed to explain what the coffee was to the blonde haired guy and the girls seemed interested too. Everyone except Hayami who had a proud and smug smirk due to her parents owning the coffee company that made their homemade recipe into instant coffee that was both high quality and good tasting. Everyone besides me and Hayami seemed interested in the instant coffee. The blonde haired guy then stood up dramatically and I assume he said he would try it. Damn these rich people. Everyone started clapping for him which caused me to facepalm. Haruhi starts making some coffee and something that I notice is that the cups and utensils seemed to be from the L/N chinaware company.

Before the blonde haired guy can grab a cup of coffee, I grab one and drink it all. People looked at me, surprised and confused.

"Y/N L/N, honor student and son/daughter of M/N and D/N L/N who own the L/N chinaware company along with chess champion, pleasure meeting you," I said, calmly as I had my eyes closed to drown out my embarrassment. I opened my eyes to see them all looking at the blonde haired guy. I quickly walked over to my previous position and the blonde haired guy seemed to flirt with one of the girls. I looked around and girls were squealing with their respective host while Haruhi was walking around.

"It's quite a sight isn't it, L/N?" Kyoya asked, smugly. I was caught off guard by this.

"A sight? Knowing you, you'd probably want me to agree with you that it's a great sight and in business practice, I guess, but through my eyes, it's like a horror movie," I said, sarcastically and blankly. He chuckled at me.

"There's the Y/N I know, not afraid to speak their mind. So, what brought you to the Host Club?" He asked, curiously.

"I was forcefully brought here against my will, what about you? Who bribed you to be here?" I asked, sarcastically.

"Nobody. I helped make the Host Club a reality with the help of our president," He said, proudly. Suddenly, Haruhi was beside me, but I don't think he knew.

"Is that boy really a third year?" Haruhi asked, curiously and I assume to himself.

"Honey-senpai is a prodigy, despite his appearance," Kyoya started, knowingly. Haruhi seemed surprise at my presence, but then looked to Kyoya which I did the same. "And Mori-senpai's draw is his silent disposition," He finished, knowingly.

"Haru-chan!" Honey exclaimed, happily as he jumped on Haruhi's sleeve, causing Haruhi to spin around.

When both stopped spinning, Honey looked up to Haruhi.

"Haru-chan, want to have some cake with me?" He asked, innocently which even made me smile.

"No, I don't really like sweets..." Haruhi said, lowly as he looked dizzy.

"Well, I'll let you borrow my bunny, Usa-chan!" Honey exclaimed, happily as he offered his pink plush bunny.

"No, I'm not up for Usa-chan, either," Haruhi said, lowly.

"You don't like my Usa-chan?" Honey asked, curiously and a bit sadly as he raised his bunny up with both arms as he showed Haruhi. Haruhi looks at Honey's plush bunny for a bit longer.

"I-It is cute, huh?" Haruhi asked, curiously. A light bulb seemed to go off in Honey's head. Honey handed Haruhi his plush bunny.

"Take good care of it, okay?" He said, happily as he jumped onto a girl's lap.

"Our club's policy is to utilize everyone's individual characteristics to respond to the needs of our guests," Kyoya started, knowingly as he slightly looked at me. I gave him a bit of a blank stare which he slightly chuckled at. "By the way, around here, Tamaki is number-one, the king. His request rate is seventy percent," He finished, knowingly as he looked to both me and Haruhi.

"What has the world come to?" Haruhi and I asked at the same time, blankly and curiously.

"By the way, with your eight million yen debt, you are this club's dog until you graduate- Oh, pardon me, errand boy. You're free to run away, but my family employs an able, private police force of roughly one hundred," Kyoya said, calmly, but intimidating Haruhi who was looking up at him with anxiety. "Do you have a passport?" Kyoya asked, curiously, but I knew he was basically saying that Haruhi wouldn't be able to stay in Japan.

"Yeah, be sure to work hard, Lame-oka-kun," Tamaki said, mockingly as he blew air into Haruhi's ear and neck. That caused Haruhi to jump forward from surprise. Haruhi breathed heavily for a bit before standing up properly again.

"Please don't do that," Haruhi said, seriously.

"You're not going to get any girls, as disheveled as you look," Tamaki said, mockingly.

"I'm not interested in getting any in the first place," Haruhi said.

"What are you talking about? This is important," Tamaki started, blankly. He grabbed a rose. "Becoming a fine man, and pleasing the ladies, is everything," Tamaki finished, charmingly.

"It doesn't matter either way, does it?" Haruhi asked, calmly. Tamaki stopped his charming act as his expression turned into one of surprise as he looked towards Haruhi. "Men, women, appearances, and such? What's important as a person is what's on the inside, right? I can't even understand why this kind of club exists. It's such a cruel thing, isn't it?" Haruhi asks, calmly. I look to Kyoya and give him a smug smirk.

He looks back at me with one of his own. Haruhi's expression dropped when Tamaki started talking.

"Once in a while, God creates the perfect person, both inside and out," He said, a bit cockily as he hugs himself.

"Huh?" Haruhi asked, confusedly.

"I understand how you must feel, wanting to console yourself like that. Otherwise, you couldn't go on living, huh? But think hard about it. Why do they put museum pieces in museums? Yes, it is the duty of those who were born beautiful to show off beautiful things. Which is the reason why I started this club, for the sake of those who are starved for beauty, and work unsparingly, day and night, in the pursuit of beauty. With your looks, they may be needless skills, but as long as I have the opportunity, I shall share a portion of my magnificent expertise with you," He started, dramatically while Haruhi seemed to be deep in thought. I look to Kyoya with a tired, but shocked expression that this was their king and president. He just shrugged at me.

"When placing your glass down, be sure to extend your pinky first as a cushion. That makes it more difficult to raise a clatter and easier to clasp it where you have set it. It looks more refined that way, doesn't it? Fine men do not make any uncouth sounds. I also like to look at my reflection in the glass. Also, the most important thing to remember is how effective looking up at an angle is," Tamaki said, charmingly as he looked up to Haruhi from his side, but Haruhi was still deep in thought.

"Oh, I got it!" Haruhi started as he put his closed fist onto his open palm.

"Did I strike a chord?" Tamaki asked, curiously with charm.

"Obnoxious," Haruhi stated, blankly at the same time as Tamaki's question. I couldn't hold back my laughter and I laughed, tears almost came into my eyes for how much I was laughing. Tamaki sat on the floor and hugged his knees, saddened by the word obnoxious that was chosen.

"Um... Tamaki-senpai?" Haruhi asked, curiously and confusedly. The twins came over and put both of their arms on Haruhi's head as they both laughed and I joined in on laughing even more.

"You're a hero, all right!" The twins said, jokingly as they now only had their hands on Haruhi's head.

"I'm sorry. It really did strike a small chord with me," Haruhi said, politely as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Tamaki slowly stood up.

"I see, I see! Then allow me to share yet another skill with you!" Tamaki said, happily as he held his hand out, having a sudden change of mood.

"He gets over things quickly," Haruhi said, lowly and I nodded in agreement.

"Sir..." A twin said, lowly.

"Call me King!" Tamaki exclaimed, proudly.

"You can teach the basics of hosting as much as you want..." The twin started, lowly. "But in his case, he hasn't even passed the first, most basic visual test. Now, with someone of his type, even if you take off his glasses, his eyes just look that much smaller..." The other twin finished, lowly, but seemed surprised at Haruhi's eyes.

"Hey, now! I lost my contacts the day of the school's opening ceremony," Haruhi said, nervously as he couldn't see. Both twins looked at his eyes, blankly, until Tamaki came to look at them himself. He snapped his fingers dramatically.

"Hikaru! Kaoru!" He beckoned.

"Yes, sir!" Both twins exclaimed. They quickly both grabbed Haruhi's arms and ran somewhere.

"Kyoya, contact the hair designer! Mori-senpai, to the doctor, to arrange for contact lenses! Y/N, you'll be Haruhi's coach when he gets back!" He commanded. Everyone else nodded and went to do their respective jobs, but I was surprised.

"B-But I'm not-" I started before I was cut off.

"You are now, at least during business and school hours since Haruhi is going to need all the help he can get and who's better than the person who attracted both boys and girls simultaneously without fail?" He asked, smugly with a smug smirk. My mouth drops for a moment before I quickly close it and reluctantly nod.

"Tama-chan, what about me?" Honey asked, excitedly.

"Honey-senpai..." Tamaki started, clearly unsure on what to have Honey do.

"Mm-hmm?" Honey made a sound of waiting for a continuation.

"Please go have some cake," Tamaki finished. Honey sadly did as he was told, mumbling somethings underneath his breath too.

"So, are you still a charmer?" Kyoya asked, curiously as he looked at me.

"No, not since my first year and the year after that..." I said, lowly. He seemed to be confused by that.

"May I ask why?" He asked, curiously.

"Hm, maybe I'll tell you one day, buddy," I said, mockingly as I put my hand on his shoulder. He got slightly annoyed and I laughed at his expense. I'll tell you, Mister Ootori, but only once I become friends with you like we used to be. The day went into the afternoon as the entire Host Club and myself were waiting outside the changing room for him.

"Um, senpai?" Haruhi asked.

"Oh, are you done changing?" Tamaki asked, curiously. Haruhi pulled the curtains to reveal him looking a lot better.

"I can really keep this uniform?" Haruhi asked, curiously.

"How adorable! You almost look like a girl, don't you?" Tamaki exclaimed, crying tears of joy.

Wait, a girl? A light bulb went off in my head. She's pretty cute for a girl, I'll admit, cuter than Aiko at least, but that's not super hard to do...

"Haru-chan, how cute!" Honey complimented, happily.

"If that's how you really look..." One of the twins started.

"You should have said so sooner. Might even be able to draw some customers like that," The other twin finished.

"Yes! It's all as I figured!" Tamaki said, confidently, but I knew he was lying. "The errand boy has graduated! Starting today, you are an official member of the Host Club with THE expert of charms as your coach, Y/N L/N! Your coach and I will train you to be a first-rate host.

If you can get one hundred customers to request you, we will forgive your eight million debt," Tamaki said, dramatically as he pointed towards Haruhi.

"A host?" Haruhi asked, confusedly. After a while, Kyoya brought me to a private area.

"I'll make coaching Haruhi worth your while," Kyoya said, calmly.

"You also don't want me to spill the beans about Haruhi being a girl, right?" I asked, smugly. He seemed surprised. "Honestly, you've changed entirely, but how easy you are to read hasn't, not at all. To be honest, I'm impressed that you so openly talked about Haruhi's debt and what you'd do to her. But, you have my word and you are going to pay for whatever I ask you to as my payment to coach Haruhi, got it?" I asked, snarkiness in my voice. His expression changed to coolness as he closed his eyes and gave a smirk.

"Loud and clear, Captain L/N," He said, calmly. The Host Club opened back up, now with the addition of Haruhi as a host.

"Haruhi-kun, what hobbies do you have?" A girl asked, curiously.

"Do you do anything special to your skin?" Another girl asked, curiously.

"It's terribly pretty," Yet another girl complimented.

Haruhi seemed too tired or annoyed to deal with this.

"Breathe," I said, lowly to her. She nodded and took a deep breath.

"Haruhi-kun, why did you join this club?" The three girls asked, curiously. Haruhi seemed anxious and inside her head a bit too deeply. Haruhi told the story behind her mom which caused intrigue and interest in the three girls and me.

"I see, your mother passed away ten years ago, after being sick? So, who does the domestic chores?" A girl asked, curiously.

"Oh, I do those by myself. My mother was good at cooking and she left me lots of recipes when she was in the hospital. Learning each one of them is fun to do and on days when they turn out well, my father is delighted too. Those are the times that I really like," Haruhi said, sincerely which touched my heart.

"Um... Tomorrow, could we... Request you once again?" The three girls asked, curiously.

"Oh, I would appreciate that," Haruhi said, sincerely. I look to Kyoya who gives me a smirk and a wink.

"Y/N, was it? Why're you in the Host Club?" The three girls asked, curiously. I was surprised at the question and thought my answer through.

"Well, I wanted to maybe make new friends and help Haruhi here with becoming a better host for you ladies," I said, lowly then winked at them as they blushed. Kyoya snaps his fingers which catches both Haruhi's attention and mine.

"Haruhi! Y/N! Come here for a minute," Kyoya said, calmly which we both did.

"Yes?" Both Haruhi and I asked, curiously to Tamaki.

"Say hello. This is my regular guest, Princess Ayanokoji," He says, calmly. Hm, she seems like one of Aiko's other friends.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Haruhi said, bashfully as she smiled.

"That was so cute, Haruhi! The air of bashfulness was good, good, very good!" Tamaki exclaimed, happily as he spun her around quickly.

"T-Tamaki-sama..." This Princess Ayanokoji said, lowly.

"I'm not letting you go!" Tamaki exclaimed, happily as he kept spinning Haruhi around.

"M-Mori-senpai!" Haruhi called for Mori, looking for help. "Help!" Haruhi called for Mori. Mori quickly grabbed Haruhi from Tamaki's grasp.

"Mori-senpai, you didn't have to go that far," Tamaki said, lowly. "Come on, come back next to Daddy's heart!"

"I don't need two fathers," Haruhi said, blankly. After a while, everyone else left and only Haruhi and I were left alone. "Y/N, why are you helping me?" Haruhi asked, curiously.

"Think of it as wanting to help a poor soul who was pushed to make a deal with the devil. I guess I'm a guardian angel of sorts," I said, sarcastically which she chuckles at.

"Huh? Y/N, have you seen my bag?" She asked, curiously.

"No, why?" I asked, curiously.

"It's gone..." She said, lowly. She looks out the window.

"Aw, man..." Haruhi said, lowly. I looked outside the window to see her bag in the fountain. "I didn't think there was any bullying at this school, but sure enough..." She said, lowly.

"I could've proved that in my first year..." I said, quietly in mostly a mumble. We quickly start running to the fountain until we run into the Princess Ayanokoji from before.

"Oh, it's you. How nice for you, to have Tamaki-sama to tidy you up. While you're at it, why don't you correct your poor upbringing?" She asks, maliciously. She begins to start walking away, but I didn't see the reason of holding my tongue at that moment.

"Hey! Princess!" I called, mockingly. She stopped and looked back at me. "If you're so rich and beautiful, why don't you work on your personality?" I asked, sarcastically. She seemed to grow a malicious smirk.

"Ah, L/N, the daughter of the great D/N and M/N. I'm impressed you're affiliating with a commoner, your affiliation with Yamamoto already brought your social status down to a mere commoner, are you sure you want to become a lowly dog? Are you sure you want to go through that again?" She asked, maliciously with a smirk. I kept my mouth shut and watched with anger as she walked away. We start going to the fountain and I knew Haruhi was curious and was glad that she knew now wasn't the time. We were now in the fountain.

"Well, that was probably the guilty party and whatever her reasons were, I have to find my wallet or I won't have any money for food this week," Haruhi said, a bit anxiously as she looked for her wallet in the water as I helped her search for it too.

"Hey, commoner! Coach," Tamaki greeted.

"You've both got some nerve to skip out on your club activities. Why is your bag all wet?" Tamaki asked, curiously.

"I just dropped it," Haruhi lied. I looked at her and she gave me a look to play along so I just nodded.

"I can't find my food money for this week," Haruhi said, nervously and anxiously. Tamaki gets into fountain as he helps Haruhi and me look for her wallet. "It's okay. You'll get yourself all wet," Haruhi assured, calmly.

"Getting wet isn't going to do any harm, is it? People always say that I'm dripping with good looks, after all," Tamaki said, charmingly and calmly. Haruhi looked at him with awe and so did I. "Oh, might this be what you're looking for?" He asked, charmingly as he lifted Haruhi's wallet and winked. Damn, he's a natural, unless Kyoya taught him, but even then, it's impressive for Kyoya. Haruhi continued to look at him in awe. "What's the matter? You're off in space.

You haven't fallen for me, have you?" He asked, jokingly which snapped Haruhi out of her trance.

"Who, me?" She asked, sarcastically as she quickly snatched her wallet from him.

"Still, how does something like this happen?" He asked, curiously.

"Well... I accidentally dropped it out the window." Haruhi said, calmly to the Princess Ayanokoji from yesterday.

"I see. That must have been terrible, huh? Having your bag fall into the pond all on its own," She said, falsely being caring. I want to personally choke her, but I'm afraid I'll get arrested for it, sadly. "Although, to make Tamaki-sama go to all the trouble of picking up your grimy bag for you, you both really don't know your own place, do you? Tamaki-sama is only paying you any attention because both of your upbringings were so unusual,"

She said, maliciously to us both. Haruhi made a slight sound of surprise.

"Don't go getting any ideas as to why he's doting on you," She said, maliciously.

"So what you mean is... you're jealous?" Haruhi asked, curiously. I quickly push Haruhi out of the way as this Princess went for a slap, but I accidentally lifted the table up with me.

The rose vase that was on it shattered as she screamed.

"Y/N-kun/san... Y/N-kun/san suddenly attacked me! Somebody, quick! Deal with this lowly dog!" She falsely yelled for help. I accidentally fell on top of her which is what she was using to her advantage to say that I attacked her. The twins spilled water on the both of us.

I got off her as I looked around. Aiko looked disgusted while Hayami seemed confused and curious.

"What are you doing?" The Princess asked, confusedly. Tamaki slowly walked over to her and lifted her up. "Tamaki-sama, Y/N-kun/san assaulted me!" She said, falsely scared. Kyoya came over.

"How disgraceful," Both Kyoya and Tamaki said, coldly.

"You're the one who threw Haruhi's bag in the pond, aren't you?" Tamaki asked, coldly.

"How can you say that? Do you have any proof?" She asked, falsely offended at the accusation.

"You really are quite pretty," Tamaki said, coldly as he lifted her chin up.

"But you are not fit to be our guest," They both said, coldly.

"I know this definitively, Y/N isn't that type of person," Kyoya said, calmly, but with a bit of a threatening tone in his voice.

"And Haruhi isn't that type of man," Tamaki added, seriously.

"T-Tamaki-sama, you idiot!" She cried out as she ran out the room. Good riddance, let the door hit you on the way out.

"I'm going to decide your punishment for causing this trouble," Both Kyoya and Tamaki said, calmly as they looked to both me and Haruhi. "Your quota is increased to one thousand yen!" Tamaki exclaimed, dramatically as he pointed at Haruhi. Haruhi seemed nervous.

"Your job time will be increased from now on depending on how much more help Haruhi needs," Kyoya stated, calmly. I just nodded at this, accepting my fate.

"Here," Tamaki and Kyoya both said as they offered their hands to lift us up. We both take them and get lifted up to our feet. "I'm expecting much from you, natural rookie," Tamaki said, charmingly as he winks to Haruhi who gives him a confused look. Kyoya winks at me, letting me know the same thing.

Kyoya hands her a bag with a spare uniform.

"This is the only spare uniform we have. It's still better than that wet one, though, right?" Kyoya asked, curiously. I was surprised that Haruhi also got wet, but I'm glad they're caring to her first.

"Thank you very much," Haruhi said, sincerely as she went to the changing room. Everyone else went to do their own thing which left me and Kyoya alone.

"Is your condition getting better?" He asked, curiously.

"Hm, what condition?" I asked, playing dumb on purpose.

"Don't play dumb with me," He commanded, seriously.

"Look, you don't get to act like you care when you left me behind when we were eleven! You don't get to try and command me! Don't forget, Ootori, I know more things about you than others do!" I yelled, angrily as I looked at him. He left me alone after that. After a while, we were talking to Haruhi.

"Haruhi..." Tamaki said, lowly.

"Yes?" Haruhi asked, curiously.

"You're a girl?" Tamaki asked, curiously.

"Biologically, yes," She said, sincerely as she stepped out and wore the same uniform that the girls wore. Tamaki was madly scratching his head with both of his hands. "Senpai, if you all think of me as a boy, then that's okay with me too. My feeling is that any awareness of being a boy or a girl falls lower than that of being a person," Haruhi said, sincerely.

"This is quite an interesting development," Kyoya said, sarcastically.

"It sure is," The twins said, sarcastically.

"Mhm," I made a sound out of sarcasm.

"Still, Senpai, you were kind of cool earlier," Haruhi said, sincerely.

Tamaki starts to blush after that.

"Could this possibly be the beginnings of love?" Kyoya asked, calmly as he looked at me.

"I'll bet that it isn't," I said, blankly. He nodded and I knew he bet against me due to the glint in his eyes.

"You know, being a host, and getting fussed over by girls might not be all that bad," She said, thinking about it.

"I know!" She said as she put her closed first into her open palm. "From now on, I'll start using male pronouns," She says. Afterwards she chuckles and I join in with a close eyed grin.

Being a coach might not be so bad after all.
