Friday nights are for the both of them, as what both seokmin and joshua calls it, it's a tradition they must not break and doesn't want to break actually.
After a long weekday, of working from morning until night, from facing different problems each of them has on their own workplace, and from talking with a lot of people, it was set to the both of them that at the end of the day they would find rest and comfort to each other.
joshua still goes at his every time he wants or sometimes it's seokmin who goes at joshua's when he's too drained already, wants to drink and a lot more excuses but usually it's just seokmin being bored or too alone on his apartment.
the two of them should just live together, really. one apartment being abandoned or the other when they choose to stay in and have their so called sleepover on one's apartment - but living together, doesn't sound bad too.
it was a rough friday for seokmin. the deadlines they have to finish before weekend, the traffic he has to go through before he comes home, the hunger due to long lines on drive thru on mcdonalds that just makes him mumble "ugh, i'll just anything left at home" trying to ignore the grumbling sound of his stomach as he drive home.
once seokmin opened the door he immediately dropped his bag from his shoulder, removed his coat and shoes, folded the sleeves of his polo, unbuckled his belt from his pants, and undo some of the button of his polo and plopped to the sofa staring at the ceiling (might me hibernating).
if someone would see him at this state they would probably laugh. it's so far from the usual composed and formal seokmin that they know, but he's alone and he's tired and he's drained so he let himself be free from the tight grip of this week works has on him.
seokmin then opened his phone and scrolled on any social media he just randomly pressed, he doesn't care at this point and would just look at anything interesting to divert his tiredness, even a cat vid on his feed would do. he then stood up, got on his room, open his drawer but not to change his clothes (he's still lazy) but to get his vape, juice and plopped again at the sofa.
seokmin then turned on some music while trying to put new juice on his vape, he probably consumed almost all of it before he left for work. after putting some he just continued to stare at the ceiling, a hand resting behind his head and the other placed unconsciously on his stomach while he lets himself be engulfed from the smoke he releases when he suddenly heard the door open.
"seok, you vape?" words seokmin heard even before he can get up and turn but what's the need of looking when he already know who owns the voice.
ah fuck, seokmin said to himself, he must've forgot its friday and his bestfriend would come over. that explains the traffic and long lines on fast food chains then, it slipped his mind.
"ah, yes." seokmin answered quietly while joshua just continue to enter his apartment, heading straight to the kitchen with a box of pizza on his hands.
seokmin doesn't know why he's suddenly shy and awkward about his bestfriend knowing that he vapes so he remains tensed and stopped vaping when joshua sat beside the younger who's busying himself on trying to fan away the smell of the almost non existent smoke he exhaled earlier.
"how long has it been?" joshua asked with voice full of curiosity. joshua isn't strict with him other than reminding him to eat and not go too hard on himself on work (that he also does for the other) but other than that, there's none. even joshua joins him when he's in the mood to drink or get wasted.
"eh, not much" lies.
"seok, it's literally just the two of us here. how long?" joshua asked again, seokmin sighed, a sign of defeat and realized there's no getting out now, not when joshua can see right through the other.
"almost a year" he simply said that made joshua answer a small "ahh" and a nod on his head.
"where did you learn it though?" joshua asked looking directly at seokmin like a kid asking why is 1+1 equals to 2
"from mingyu" seokmin answered honestly. joshua knows mingyu already even mingyu's boyfriend; wonwoo from picking up seokmin on the office or when they just want someone to eat with them.
"why did you not tell me?" joshua genuinely asked a slight pout visible on the olders face.
"because i know you don't like it, but i do, and the best thing i can do is just respect that." seokmin sweetly answered.
the thing is, everytime they go out together may it be a simple stroll, grocery or shopping - once joshua smells a cigarette or even a blaze he immediately drags seokmin far away with a hand covering his nose saying it doesn't go well with him and seokmin understands that. so he doesn't want to vape in front of bestfriend, not when he doesn't like it.
"seok," joshua started "its totally fine with me, you could've just said it so you can show me cool tricks i see on the internet" joshua said and laughed
seokmin is relieved, at least a little, the thought of joshua just saying this just because he's his bestfriend still occupying his mind.
"great now show me how it works, i will only be watching you since i don't think i can handle that" joshua said and moved close to seokmin, way too close actually.
and so seokmin told joshua how it works from the buttons to the juice and how you inhale the smoke in which made seokmin sure that the older is indeed interest, at least on the way he asks and listens.
"so? try it then" joshua suggested and focused more on seokmin as he tried to inhale his vape.
seokmin notices how joshua stares at his lips when he puts the vape on his mouth til how he releases the smoke.
"wow, it smells kind of nice too" joshua said as he continues to sniff some of the smoke left and made him realizing that's why seokmin smells like mint and sweet candies more than usual and not just a change on his laundry detergent.
joshua is not fond of second hand smoke or cigarettes in general but when he realized the addicting smell seokmin has is because of his vape, maybe he can make exceptions.
seokmin just chuckled on how joshua tries to inhale the smoke he releases for the past half an hour while the both of them scrolls through their phone and finished eating the pizza joshua brought earlier, sometimes looking at the tv which is now playing some series they just pressed to avoid silence.
seokmin then noticed how joshua stopped using his phone and continued to stare at him (his lips to be exact) while he continues to vape mindlessly and at the same time scroll on his phone.
"what?" seokmin asked and laughed a little when he looked up and saw joshua
"nothing" joshua answered and tried to open his phone again
"oh come on what is it? do you want me to stop now? is it too much?" seokmin sweetly asked almost putting down his vape.
"no, dont please" joshua held the other's wrist trying to stop him on doing so "i was just wondering if you know some tricks" joshua said and laughed which made seokmin chuckle too
"not much but there's something i want to try" seokmin said with all seriousness the idea he's been keeping on his mind for a while now suddenly might have a chance
"ooh, show me then" joshua said as he raised an eyebrown on seokmin, waiting for what the younger would do
seokmin then inhaled his vape for a long time keeping it inside then pulled joshua for a deep kiss releasing the smoke on the olders mouth making joshua's eyes open widely as he tastes the flavor. he then pulls away and giggles at the other's face turning red realizing he just tasted seokmin and the vape (that he fears he would not be able to handle).
"so what do you think?" seokmin asks as he rests his arm on the backrest of his couch leaning closer to the older.
"not bad," joshua started "but i didn't felt that much maybe you should try again" joshua said as he leaned closer on seokmin's face too suddenly appreciating seokmin manpreading with his collar bones exposed from his unbuttoned polo while his arms is almost wrapped around joshua's shoulder making the older think just how he got so lucky on having the younger beside him.
seokmin then laughs and inhales again, longer this time, and dives into the olders lip again. this time holding his neck making sure none of the smoke comes out from their mouth but seokmin giggled realizing he's kissing his bestfriend now and so joshua did as well, thinking the same thing. making smokes come out from both of their mouths that made them move apart and laugh.
"now, what do you say then?" seokmin asked again with a small smirk that joshua noticed.
"still didn't feel it enough-" joshua was then cut off when seokmin suddenly went in for a kiss starting slow and passionate until seokmin holds joshua's neck making the kiss deeper and seokmin took that chance to enter the olders mouth tasting every single corner of it.
seokmin then picked up joshua placing him on his lap, both joshua's leg on his side, the older holding unto his shoulder while they continue to make out only stopping when they're out of breath.
"how 'bout that?" seokmin asked again with a small smile on his face.
"well i think that's better" joshua answered a laughed as his cheeks turn red "still love the mint flavor though since you seriously taste like pizza" joshua joked failing to hide the adoration on the mint flavor on the other's mouth that earned a small slap from seokmin.
he then inhaled on his vape and started making out with joshua again, the older slowly grinding on his crotch as seokmins hold goes down from joshua's waist unto his ass groping them lightly making joshua moan right beside his ear.
joshua then moves unto seokmins neck breathing heavily on it, kissing it and marking it which seokmin took the chance to inhale from his vape again and bring joshua's lips back on the younger as he slowly starts to match the olders movement on his hip making joshua moan lightly that seokmin still catched and muttered a silent "fuck"
everytime joshua goes down on his ears or neck, he takes this chance to inhale from his vape so he can release again at joshua's skin, or on his mouth making the latter moan where seokmin heard something while the other enjoys the pleasure.
it must've been the heat on the older but when he heard it a couple of times and not just an "i love your mouth so fucking much" from joshua he knows there's nothing to worry about.
seokmin then stops for a while looking at the elder who looks a thousand more times attractive with swollen lips, red cheeks, and messy hair only to kiss him again, this time much more gentle and sweet unlike earlier he then asks again,
"what do you think, bestfriend?" seokmin asks and smiles at the latter, hoping he gets what he mean, like he wasnt making out with him earlier.
"i don't know. bestfriend doesn't sound that good to me, i think." the older looked away as if he was seriously thinking about something serious too.
"boyfriend then?" seokmin shyly asks, still has doubts on his mind.
"seokmin, are you seriously going to ask me that while im on your lap, after making out and after you exhaled everything on my mouth." right. yup, at least a much more romantic and memorable approach.
"but who am i to turn down your offer, boyfriend?" joshua said looking at him and giggled.
and seokmin just lost it, he was definitely a goner, on how they're normal staying at home friday suddenly turned into this and who was seokmin to complain? not when he was crushing on his bestfriend for years now like a damn teenager.
"but can you ask me that next time, again? on a better place for goodness sake i didn't wait for you to make a move on me only for me to confess in the end because my bestfriend looked hot while vaping" joshua nagged and seokmin loved it already, mentally noting he should take him on a great place next time especially now he knew joshua was only waiting for him as well.
