Moving into the dorms isn’t a particularly new experience for HiMERU, although now the chances of him running into all sorts of people he never wanted to see had increased.
On the bright side, his roommates are friendly people, Arashi and he often exchange their makeup techniques and Tetora is a nice kid who has a bundle of thoughts in his head that he likes to share with his seniors.
But what he likes the most about the ES Dorms is the fact that Rinne no longer had to stand outside his apartment in shit weather. The downside is his barbaric leader also invites himself into their dorm room whenever he feels like it.
As if on cue, the door to HiMERU’s dorm room bursts open, and a familiar red-haired man plops onto his bed. HiMERU faces the man, smacking his back lightly with the book he’s conveniently holding (and probably not actually reading).
“Hey Meru,” Rinne says, voice muffled by the pillows. “Can we just rest today?”
HiMERU glances at his watch, it’s almost 11 and it seems like his roommates are spending the night out again so it should be fine for Rinne to spend the night. Though HiMERU doesn’t want to imagine the pestering Arashi would give him if she came back in the morning and saw Rinne cuddled up on HiMERU. Again.
HiMERU remembers the last time she came into the dorm while Rinne and HiMERU were… kissing. The shrill shriek she let out followed by a bombardment of questions haunts HiMERU, especially since Rinne just laughed and indulged her imagination.
HiMERU brushes his thoughts aside, goes to lock the dorm room door, and then smacks Rinne’s ass to signal his leader to move over.
“Woah,” Rinne looks up with a grin, “feisty? I’m kinda tuckered out an’ shit so could we just kiss and sleep for today?”
“No HiME-... I didn’t-” HiMERU sighs and crawls onto his bed, which is kind of small for the both of them but that's okay. “Shut up Amagi.”
Rinne laughs before wrapping his arms around HiMERU and pressing a kiss against his collarbone, “ahhh, this is nice.”
HiMERU nods, rubbing Rinne’s scalp. It was nice to do other things, but HiMERU really cherishes the moments when his boyfriend is tame and sweet.
Rinne pushes his head up so he’s laying face-to-face with HiMERU and he cups the blue-haired man’s cheek with his hand.
“What are you looking at?” HiMERU asks, placing his own hand on top of Rinne’s.
“You’re pretty,” Rinne laughs, one that’s different from his usual cackle. HiMERU loves the way he sounds and wishes to hear him laugh like that again. But instead, he presses his lips against Rinne’s. “My pretty boy,” Rinne says and HiMERU feels himself growing flustered. “My pretty, pretty boy.”
“Shut up Amagi,” HiMERU says, knowing that Rinne can see him wholly and he couldn’t hide.
Rinne laughs again and HiMERU feels warm. “Alright, alright. Night, Merumeru.~”
HiMERU nods and Rinne lays his head on HiMERU’s arm, together they drift off to sleep.
Sometime in the middle of the night, Arashi and Tetora bump into each other out in the hall. They chat about their day and Arashi unlocks the dorm room door.
“HiMERU-chan~ I’m home- oh?” Arashi spots HiMERU and Rinne with their arms entangled around each other, sleeping peacefully. “Oh my g-”
Tetora clamps his hand over Arashi’s mouth, “I’m sorry, Narukami-senpai!” He whisper-shouts in her ear and pulls her out of the room. He shuts the door and Arashi glares at him.
“Jeez, you didn’t have to do that, you could’ve messed up my makeup!” Arashi pouts, “plus I wasn’t going to disturb them anyways.”
Tetora shakes his head nervously, “I’m sorry! Let’s just sleep somewhere else tonight!”
“Fine,” she says, rolling her eyes. “I’ll ask Mika-chan if I could stay with him and Ritsu for now then.~ Want me to ask if you could stay?”
“Nah,” Tetora shifts on his feet. “I’ll just go see if Hinata-kun’s still up.”
Arashi eyes him for a second before turning away, “well goodnight! I will be talking to HiMERU in the morning though.~”
“Uh-huh…” Tetora smiles awkwardly before walking toward Hinata’s dorm.
