The Great Celestial War

Summary:

In a world full of angels,
Not one of them is disdainful.
Six is enough, or two
It's hard for him to choose.
Keeping a secret from those who love her,
Making it not well for her eldest brother.
This all started from a war,
And then continues with a new open door.

Notes:

The first ever story I have completed. I was holding my breath in as I wrote it.

! This fiction takes place a little bit before, during, and after the great war !

Keep in mind: everything in here is either from the actual plot of the game, a bunch of head-canons, or biblically accurate views. You may notice some things that are not true according to the game, but it's been stated that the majority of these things written in this are head-canons, meaning they are not true from the true storyline.

ALSO: For some reason, I have seen that in the Obey Me! storyline from lesson 51 (I think), Lucifer is a seraph, not an archangel. With that being said, in Lucifer's UR card "The Glory Days", he's an archangel according to Diavolo, hence the part of a dialogue, "Lucifer the Archangel." I have also said that I made this from a biblical view--> Lucifer was an archangel. Then again, I don't know anything. Just ignore it all.

I hope you enjoy this nightmare as I did. It was fun to write, but you may notice I started to give up within a few chapters, but that's beside the whole purpose.

A lot of paragraphs, I'm sorry, by the way. In Google Docs, it's less than it is on here.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: The Angel with a Purpose

Chapter Text

The angels roam freely around a world they call the Celestial Realm. Each of them is their own rank, whether they are a high class or a low class. They all could care less. Our Father made us in different ways. Not one of us is the same. It was stated that the angels are categorized, and they wander independently, yes, but they are still watched over.

The higher ranks do, at least. Some of them train their own protégé, while others are openly trained. Usually, Michael, the archangel, teaches the younger ones. He wants them to be almost as strong as he is, for he is the warrior-type of the bunch. Sometimes, he’ll rank them; other times, it’s our Father who does so. The other archangels, Uriel and Gabriel, also care for the lower classes, along with the seraph, Raphael. Uriel and Gabriel are not harsh with their drillings, unlike Raphael and Michael are with theirs. That puts a question out for every angel that dwells in the Celestial Realm. They all wonder why the seraph Raphael and the archangel Michael are cruel through their teachings. But we cannot ask those questions aloud, for it will get us into trouble.

My teachings, however, are in a neutral difficulty. I train every last one of the angels that live in this World because Michael sometimes will slack on his work, and Raphael has other things to do. That leaves me and Uriel and Gabriel, although the two of them also do their things individually. I cannot judge them, for they bring harmony between the worlds. Our Father gave us specific jobs, and we must fulfill them.

I consider the angels as my family—brothers, and sisters, to be more precise. I know almost all of the angels by heart, but I only hold a special kind of love and respect for six of them. Father creates these angels, and a few of them I care for the most. I am unsure why they are special to me, but I would carry any of their needs for them.

I say that, yet they bring numerous disasters. The troubles they cause bring Raphael displeasure. He gets irritated whenever I don’t put them in their place. It’s hard sometimes. I too would also partake in some of their calamities, depending on what it is. If it brings disruption, immediately, it stops. My siblings don’t exactly fear me when it comes to this stuff. It’s Raphael they cower to the most. Every time I see the seraph walk by me, there is mainly a spear in his hand. It’s a normal thing for the angels.

Some of the other angels wonder why I favor six of them in particular. Like I said before, I am unsure why I do. Though, I love all of them equally. It’s my duty to cherish them and protect them no matter the cost.

The ones who I lean more on are as I stated before. Sometimes, they are fatuous. I try my best to make sure their foolishness doesn’t fall into Raphael’s hands, especially Mammon’s indiscretion. He will most likely try to escape from his job or cause mischief, in which either I will find out, or Michael or Raphael. We have told him countless times that if he wants to be a high-ranking angel, he must do his position correctly. He fell out of his job as an archangel and was given to me to put him in his place. He must feel pleased about that because when he was turned over to me, his face was happy as ever. However, it became more problematic for me. Putting Mammon where he belongs is exhausting. Now, I can see why Michael decided to give me him.

Asmodeus is a cheerful one. He is as beautiful as he sounds and is admired by lots. He’s not prideful about his beauty, for he loves sharing it with others in multiple different ways. They call him the Jewel of the Heavens . It’s exactly what it is. He is as purified as a jewel. He’s also very considerate towards others. I remember a time when he tried teaching a younger angel a few things about the higher ones. None of them understood each other. It was quite humorous to watch them stare at one another in confusion. Unlike Mammon, Asmodeus isn’t as difficult, for he puts himself into his place on his own. I say that, yet Raphael also gets agitated with him, almost the same way with Mammon. Asmodeus loves to have fun, which causes the seraph to be annoyed and furious.

Continuing, Leviathan is a well-liked angel. He once served in our army but left due to us not being in war anymore. Primarily, we’ve had our conflicts with the Devildom, but ever since the Demon King’s son wanted peace and harmony between our worlds, we ended up making a treaty, constructing us not to fall out in any way. Leviathan thought it was best to step down as a commander since we don’t have to fight against the Devildom. He now barricades himself in his room until he is needed. Once again, Raphael doesn’t like this at all. Whenever Leviathan sees Raphael, particularly when he is holding one of his handy spears, he quivers behind something until the seraph is nowhere to be seen in his eyes.

Mammon, Asmodeus, and Leviathan are considered to be more mature and older, unlike the last three. Beelzebub, Belphegor, and Lilith render greater concerns. Distinctly, it’s the youngest of them, Lilith. Belphegor does tend to do things against our will, and Lilith follows him. I normally stop them in their predicaments; a lot of times, they sneak out whenever I’m not looking. They think I don’t know, but I know. I never know what they do, and they do put me under stress. It makes me worry, thinking they’re doing something opposed to our rules.

Beelzebub is less of my distress, though. He and Belphegor are twins, meaning they were created on the same day. Beelzebub is the strong type. He has tremendous power and strength, almost making him exceed in dominance over some of the archangels. However, he can’t control it. He wants to be a fighter of the Celestial Realm, but there isn’t much of a point for him to do so. I told him that he should concentrate on standing as a protector rather than a fighter. He agreed and became one of the cherubim of the World. Nowadays, he guards the gates of the Celestial Realm.

I’ve watched my Father create my siblings, each of them at different times. After He gives them their names, I do my best to instruct them in their courses. Michael helps out, but as I mentioned previously, he neglects his work. There are hardly any times he taught the new angels of the Celestial Realm. But that doesn’t mean he hates them. He loves them dearly; the same goes with the other archangels and the seraphim. Basically, all of the higher ranks adore the lower ranks.

On the subject of angelic ranks, I consider myself as a merely normal archangel like Michael and Uriel, and Gabriel. Some angels say I’m gifted, while others say it’s just who I am and how I was created. I’ve overheard a few angels saying that I am the favorite out of them all at one time. That’s a lie, obviously. Father never picks favorites. Even if He did, I doubt it would be me. Michael seems more like it, or perhaps Gabriel. Michael’s fierceness and Gabriel’s kind-heartedness make it a challenge. Someone ought to have made a poll between the two. If not, then I’m surprised.

Ah, I realized I never introduced myself thoroughly. Apologies. A lot of the time, I love to ramble on about things, most of them regarding my life, but that’s beside the point. All of the angels that reside in the Celestial Realm and those who don’t live in this World know my name. I am the elegance of one’s imagination. My keen three pairs of white wings and my relentless personality brings out astonishment in everyone. I am who they call the Morning Star , the angel that brings a multitude.
