Amity was calculated, reserved and quiet. Well, that was how she was before a certain someone came to her life.
Luz was such a bundle of joy that always softened Amity's bile sack covered heart. She knew how to make her laugh, to make her smile, to make her flustered: She made Amity feel all sorts of things.
But here she was, curled up with her head resting in her knees. She sobbed to herself quietly at a room of the airship.
She just lost Luz again.
It wasn't no one's fault and she knew that, but the world seemed to be against her. They were on their way to the Titan's Head but she felt tired, weak. She didn't know what to do.
Till she heard something on the other side of the corner. Amity slowly lifted her head and with the dim light of the window, she saw a blanket moving. She tried to ignore but it started making more noise.
She shakily stood up and slowly approached it.
Then, she kneeled right before it mustering up the courage to remove the blanket off.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Her hand slowly peeled the blanket off to see a hatching egg.
'This must be Luz's'
She gently held it in her hands as the top started to crack away.
Then, an otter emerged.
Amity can't help herself smile when she saw the otter as it reminded her of Luz.
The otter smiled back at Amity then squeaked to her.
'I Love You'
Amity felt shock and tears at her eyes as she understood what the otter said.
"I Love You Too" She replied to the otter with a raspy voice, more tears threatening to spill out. But she smiled. She wiped her tears away as she knew and rembered what she was and willing to fight for
"For Luz" she quietly mumbled to herself. With a heavy heart and puffy eyes, she stood up with determination and went to the door when suddenly, the ship started to shake.
She quickly goes outside
"Guys? What is going on?!"
She held a pole of the ship to try to keep her balance. Amity started to analyze her surroundings.
They were flying above the head of the Titan when they heard childish laughter sending chills at their spine.
Then suddenly, all eyes were looking up at a figure flying up the sky glowing so brightly.
It looked like it had orange and blue skin with white hair soaring at the clouds.
Then it came to her.
It was Luz.
