To whomever finds this letter,
Hello! My name is (Y/n). I chuck letters like these into the Anti-Void to see if anyone lives there. Now, you might be wondering, "why would someone do this?" Well, that's simple! It's because I'm bored. If you do decide to reply, leave your letter in the bottle this one came it. Put it in the same spot and I'll come pick it up! By the way, what's your favourite food?
Always and forever, (Y/n).

Error blinked at the letter he held in his skeletal hands. This was new. This was interesting. Perhaps he should write back to this mysterious "(Y/n)". After all, he had nothing to lose. This might be an entertaining experience.
And so, Error began to write. Well, as soon as he found something to write with. And a paper. Paper was very important for the task at hand.
Once he finished, he glanced down at the message in his hands, feeling proud of himself. Although...it had been a while since he last wrote something down, so his handwriting was a bit messy.
He hoped you wouldn't mind.

(Y/n),
You seem to be an... interesting person. Your letter has intrigued me, and that's why I'm responding. I go by Error. My favourite food is chocolate. Specifically from Underfell. Have you been there? The anomalies are fun to mess with. Especially Anomaly #13. What is your favourite AU? If you know what those are.
Nevermind that. If you know about the Anti-Void, the chances are you know about AU's. Another question: have you ever heard of "Undernovela"? It's a wonderful show. I highly recommend it.

Excited, you opened a portal to the Anti-Void, wanting to see if anyone responded to your latest letter. It had been a couple days since you left it laying on the floor. You had to stop yourself from going only after a day of waiting. Not to mention that you felt anxious. After all, you didn't know if anyone would respond.
Man, just thinking about it made you nervous.
Hands shaking a tiny bit, you stepped through the portal into the place where you left the message. You picked up the bottle on the floor and stepped back through your portal, letting out a breath you didn't know you were holding.
You opened the bottle and shook the paper inside into your hand. This...wasn't the paper you used!! You gasped and held the letter to your chest. Someone actually responded! As you unfolded and read the letter, your grin grew. You couldn't wait to write back.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Dear Error,
I'm so glad someone finally responded to my letter! To be honest, I was a little anxious that no one would respond. So, I'm glad you did.
Underfell....yeah, I think I've been there once or twice. It's the place where everyone is a bit meaner, right? Also! I forgot to mention this earlier, but I love your name! "Error". I haven't met you yet, but I can tell the name suits you perfectly.
Which AU is my favourite? Well, it's a very hard choice, but I'd have to say Outertale. The sights there just can't be beat by anything. Sometimes I just like to go there to stargaze, just whenever I feel stressed or nervous about something. What's yours?
Undernovela. The name certainly sounds familiar. Isn't it that AU where everyone speaks Spanish, and it's sort of a drama? The one with Asgoro? If you are talking about that show, then you must know that I love it! In fact, I make it my business to sit down every Saturday to watch the episodes I missed. Although I haven't had the time to watch any recently.
On another matter, do you like to eat popcorn while watching? Oh, and while where on the subject of food, chocolate sounds really good right now. Mm....food...
Well, I hope you have an amazing day/night in the Anti-Void. If you can tell what time it is. Can you?
Always and forever, (Y/n).

The next day, Error went to the spot where he first found the bottle with your letter in it. When he found it in the same place, he frowned. Did you not come by yet?
He licked up the bottle and took out a letter. Error was pleasantly surprised to see that his paper wasn't inside. He eagerly unfolded it and read its contents.
He smiled when he read that you liked Undernovela too. You seemed like a good person. Quite charismatic in his opinion. Error supposed that he could get used to this. Writing with you. Exchanging letters. It was...a nice break from what he was used to.
In fact, because Error enjoyed writing to you so much -even if he had only written to you once so far- he "borrowed" a desk from Underfell. As well as paper. And writing utensils. Needless to say, anomaly #13 got in trouble for managing to "lose" those things.
It made Error chuckle. Watching him get yelled at. Almost as good as Undernovela.
...that was a lie. No show could ever compare to the masterpiece that is Undernovela. Of course, that was just Error's opinion. But he was always right.
He was getting distracted, wasn't he? Yup. He was. Error sat down on a chair he also "borrowed" and began to write a reply on his newly acquired desk.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
(Y/n),
There was no need to be nervous about me not leaving you a letter. I'll always respond, as long as you write back. You do promise to do that, I hope? You like Outertale too? That's amazing. I love to visit there to look at the stars. It's one of the only AU's I can stand to leave alone. The sky is just so pretty, with all of its different colours and stars.
Anyway, yes, I do eat popcorn while watching Undernovela. Who's your favourite? Mine's Asgoro. Once, I tried to get his signature. It...didn't work out well.
On a lighter note, I can't really tell time here. After all, the Anti-Void is just an eighth dimension. It's all just blank, white, and empty. You won't be able to tell time because there's no sun or moon.
What do you look like? Are you this polite in person? I'm flattered what you said wrote about my name. I suppose yours isn't so bad either. It rolls off the tongues nicely.
I know I just "met" you, but I need to know. Do you feel connected to me like I feel connected to you? I hope this isn't a prank Ink is playing on me...
Anyway, I hope you have a good day/night, wherever you live. Actually, what AU do you live in?
I'll be waiting, Error.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
You tapped your foot anxiously, waiting for your shift to be over. Yes, you, -despite knowing how to traverse alternate universes- still needed a way to earn income. So here you were, waiting for your shift to be over.
Once it finally was, you hurried you way home and opened a portal to the Anti-Void as soon as you closed your front door. You stepped out in the blank world, in the same place where you left your message in a bottle.
Upon seeing the bottle moved from its original position, you grinned. Error had responded! This inference made your day, and you couldn't wait to read their letter to you. (You didn't know the person's pronouns. You'll have to ask in the next letter you write)
And so, without further ado, you grabbed the bottle eagerly and walked through the portal back to your house, ready to start writing.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Dear Error,
This has nothing to do with anything you said in your letter, but I must say: your handwriting is so cool! Oh, and another thing, why'd you cross out some lines? Of course, if you don't want to, or feel uncomfortable, you don't have to tell me anything. I'm not going to force you to talk to me. One last thing that's been on my mind before I respond to the questions in your letter; what pronouns do you use? Whew, okay. I'm done now.
Don't worry, I'll respond as long as you do, and since you promised to reply as long as I write, we should have no problems. But favourite characters in Undernovela? Oh jeez. Well, if I'm being completely honest, I can't choose. I like them all too much! Asgoro, huh. Yeah, somehow I can see it. Also, wow! You must be very brave for you to try to get his autograph.
Yes, I did kind of figured you weren't able to tell the time. As you pointed out, the Anti-Void is an eight dimension of sorts. Time works differently than anywhere else. Do you have a house or something? Since you mentioned Undernovela, I assume you at least have a TV.
As for my AU, I'm not really sure, exactly. I think I'm a part of the original, Undertale. If you're asking for a specific timeline, I'm not exactly sure. Sorry, I'm not the best at things like this, sorry. Anyway, thanks for writing me a good evening.
Oh, and random question, but do you have a job? And about what you asked in your letter, I'm not really sure what you mean by that. I'm just treating you the same way I would treat anyone else. Oh, and about the time, does it move in a Jeremy Bearimy?
Always and forever, (Y/n)

A glitchy outcode was sitting on his couch, relaxing. It has been a long day for him and he was exhausted. Ink had seemed more energetic the usual during their fight, and he had left Error with more injuries than he was used to.
At least, Error could relax and watch Undernovela now. Though, he felt as if he was forgetting something. Oh yeah, your letter.
So, getting up from his comfortable spot on his couch, Error made his way over to where he knew you'd leave the bottle. In fact, just thinking about your reply made his day lighten up. He wondered on how you responded to his questions, and what AU you lived in. He hoped you weren't an anomaly. Error didn't want to destroy you.
That being said, if you gave him a reason to, he won't hesitate (much). On the other hand, he felt this sort of connection towards you. Error doesn't know how to process these new feelings... Should he ask for advice? That seems like a good idea, he thought. Maybe anomaly #11 could help him.
Shaking his skull, Error snapped back to the present. He should probably pick up the bottle. So he did. He opened the small bottle and shook out your reply to his letter, curious to see how you wrote back. Once he read the entire contents, he chuckled.
Error was getting attached to you.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Dear (Y/n),
I'm flattered you find my writing pretty. I was a bit reluctant with writing back, as it had been a while since I wrote so much. It's calming though, in a way. Writing to you, I mean. It's therapeutic.
As for the reason why I crossed out some lines, it's nothing important. Don't worry. It's not anything bad about you, don't worry. Wait, I just wrote that twice. As for my pronouns? I use he/him. Thanks for asking, and not assuming anything. What are yours?
About your other questions, no I don't really have a house. There's part of my void that's filled with my strings, as well as a couch, beanbag, and a TV. Sometimes I have a chocolate stash, but I ate all of mine, so there's none currently. Were you concerned about me? I'm flattered if you were. There's no need to worry. Crap, I just used the word "worried" again. I can take care of myself. But then, I have to ask, what does your living arrangements look like?
Undertale, huh. Yeah I can see that. You don't exactly sound like an anomaly. You don't need to tell me what exact timeline you're in. Also, stop apologizing so much. I do not mind not knowing the exact timeline, so you don't need to worry, okay?
A job...I guess you could say I have one. Just promise you won't run away, or stop replying. It's not embarrassing or anything! It's just the fact that people are often scared of me because of what I do. They think it's "bad" even though it's not! Sorry, I didn't mean to explode like that. But to answer your question, I'm the destroyer of alternate universes.
Oh, and one last thing; what is a "Jeremy Bearimy"?
-Error

Today was a weekend, which meant no work for you! A grin was forming on your face as you bounded down the stairs. You finished pulling your sweatshirt over your head and you opened a portal to the Anti-Void, wanting to see if your penpal had responded.
Even though Error promised, you still couldn't help but feel a bit anxious yet again. What if they (again, you still don't know your penpal's pronouns) grew bored of you? It was certainly possible. You didn't think you were a very interesting person. Your life was just average and maybe the only intriguing part of it was your ability to hop AUs. Heck, you didn't even know how you got this power. You weren't bitten by a radioactive creator and/or magical skeleton.
You were just normal. Boring by some standards.
So the little ball of nerves grew inside of you until you found your bottle. Again, it was in the approximate place where you had left it. The only notable difference was the that it was in the opposite direction you had put it in last.
This simple observation put a smile on your face. He replied! Of course, he could've just opened the bottle, read your letter, and put it back carelessly- or someone else could have read the message themselves...
No. You're overreacting again. Deep breaths, (Y/n). Deep breaths. Everything is fine. Your mind is just acting up due to the nerves. You told yourself this, taking deep breaths to calm yourself down. You needed to really stop overthinking things.
Laughing sheepishly, you picked up the title and headed back through the portal back home. Where you responded back to Error in peace.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Dear Error,
It made me so happy to read that writing back to me had been calming for you! I hope that didn't make me sound narcissistic. Did it? I'm so sorry if it did.
Anyway, I use (prn/prn). Thanks for asking. It means a lot to me. On another note, your Anti-Void sounds comfortable. Does it get cold in there? I can bring you blankets or something if you want. It would be nothing, so don't worry about feeling like a burden. Do you need more chocolate? I'm sure I could find some in my local grocery store. And yes, I was a bit worried about you. I care about you.
My living arrangements? Well, I have a house. It's average sized, but it gets lonely. Somehow though, writing to you makes the loneliness go away. Do you get lonely in the Anti-Void? If you do, is there any way I could help?
Sorry, I didn't realize I apologize so much. I'll stop if it annoys you, but it's a force of habit. (and yes I do know I said "sorry" again in that sentence) I'll try not to worry too much, promise!
Destroyer of alternate universes, huh. That sounds like an interesting job. Unlike my own. I am not judging you or anything. In fact, destroying AUs is necessary for the balance of the Multiverse. But, I do need to ask: do you have a nemesis or something? Since you are the destroyer, there must be a Creator or protector or something, right?
How do I explain this... Okay, so you know how time in regular alternate universes (unless reset) moves in a straight line? Well, there's...another place I know of that doesn't move time like that. It moves like this. It looks like the English cursive name "Jeremy Bearimy", so that's what we call it.
Always and forever, (Y/n).

It was another long day for Error. But hey, at least he was watching Undernovela without any distractions! That's what Error thought.
At least until he heard the sound of a portal closing near him. Error grumbled as he immediately assumed that the sound was Ink, ready to annoy the heck out of him.
To his surprise though, the noise wasn't Ink. No, it was just a bottle laying on the floor innocently. The glitchy skeleton glanced around before noting no one was near it. Huh. He must've just missed you.
...why did that make him feel disappointed?
Shaking his skull, Error picked up the bottle using his strings. He took off the cork and shook the message out, making sure nott tot read the delicate paper with his slightly sharp phalanges. Unfolding it, Error wouldn't help the grin spreading over his skull.
He loved getting these letters from you...wait. "Loved". Error could feel his face heating up as the glitches around him started to whirr quietly. He couldn't help but to hide his skull behind your letter.
Oh stars, he was falling in love.
