You'd been living in New York City for 6 years & have been a witness to plenty of interesting villains. The one who captured your attention the most was Green Goblin. There was just something about him that held your curiosity, not to mention that he was oddly cute.
Today, you were planning on taking a little walk around the block. You put on a pair of knee-length shorts & a t-shirt before you noticed something pass by your bedroom window. You quickly put on your shoes & rushed outside after you heard a slight crash. Once outside, you turned a corner to see a scraped up sidewalk & Green Goblin seemingly assessing the damage to his glider.
"Hello. Are you ok? I heard the crash." you called out. He turned his head & you noticed his infamous smile wasn't adorning his face. In fact, he almost seemed tired. You slowly walked towards him as his eyes simply followed you.
"I've seen you before. Surely you'd know it's a bad idea to cross my path." he said with a slight monotone voice. You knew something was definitely wrong if he wasn't acting eccentric.
Concern graced your features as you decided to help him smooth out the slight bend in the right wing of his glider. Of course, he was clearly confused about your lack of fear towards him. That's when he noticed just how concerned & confused you were.
"If you really must know, I've been feeling a little out of it today. I keep getting distracted by the pressure I've been dealing with lately." he flatly stated.
"Would you like some calming herbal tea? I have some in my apartment. My mom gave it to me to help with stress, even though I don't drink it very often at all." your offer seemed to make him consider. Within just a few seconds, he agreed & walked with you back to your apartment.
Once inside, you started preparing the tea. Of course, you'd keep glancing over at the goblin every few seconds. Though he seemed a bit docile, he was still a villain. When the tea was finally done, you walked over to the couch & handed him the drink. He remained oddly quiet the whole time.
"Is there anything else I can get you?" you asked, making him focus his attention towards you. You noticed the slightest amount of gratitude in his yellow eyes &, of course, became a bit surprised.
"No, this is fine. Thank you." he muttered. As he continued drinking, you couldn't help but touch his ear. The little pointed ear twitched slightly at your caress & you felt him freeze. You didn't think much of it until he started leaning into your touch.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have done that." you quickly said, glancing away out of embarrassment. When you looked back, you noticed him smirking.
"Don't apologize, I actually liked it. You're very gentle." he said while looking directly into your eyes. You blushed slightly, but proceeded to pet his ear again. He eventually set his tea down & turned to face you, allowing you to pet both of his ears.
He gently pressed into your hands as his ears flicked down, his face showing nothing but content. You couldn't help but giggle at the sight of a crime lord turned soft by a simple ear massage.
"You act like a cat." you giggled. He looked at you with a mixture of annoyance & embarrassment. He sat up & drank the rest of his tea before turning back to you & smiling.
"Thank you for helping me with my stress. Even though I'm a villain, you treated me kindly. However, I must get going now." he said. You watched as he opened the window & practically summoned his glider before flying off with you waving the whole time.
You felt both happy & awkward knowing that you found the goblin's weakness; his own pointy ears.
