I want to be the world.
I want to speak every language,
explore every culture for its beauty, arts and eccentrics.
I want to read and analyse every book for its every page,
and write up every whimsical fantasy
I've ever managed to conjure up in this wretched mind of mine.
To bind these ideas into the most captivating
and gut-wrenching of novels
to be enjoyed for generations to come.
I want to wander carelessly through nature,
as the sun grazes my porcelain skin,
and my bare feet touch the thriving grass,
and the tranquil breeze flows through my hair.
I want to explore the stars,
name every constellation,
and kiss somebody
of every fiery zodiac,
or even water, air and earth truth be told.
For I, a girl in a city of degeneracy,
plagued by the idea of captivity,
I want to be the world.
For the world holds a beauty,
that nobody will ever see in me.
Worship me as you do the world.
