As the masked form of Darth Revan stepped onto the observation deck of his flagship, he was confronted by a young human male with fair skin, short dark hair, brown eyes, and a lightsaber in hand.
“A boy?” scoffed Lord Revan, “The Jedi Council sends a boy to fight me?” before a purple blade ignited, from the younger man’s hilt.
“I am no Jedi,” snarled the boy as he held his weapon in a reverse-grip, and assumed the battle-ready stance of Juyo.
Igniting his magenta blade, Revan took a Shien stance, also with a reverse-grip, then cast purple lightning which his opponent met with lightning of his own.
Amused, the Dark Lord abruptly used his blade to redirect the lightning towards his challenger who absorbed it.
Ceasing the collision of lightning, the two Force wielders fiercely duelled with unrivalled speed and tenacity.
Engaged in a bladelock, Revan smiled behind his mask, “You’ve got some nice moves, kid.”
“The name’s Starkiller.”
“You’re brave but reckless to face me, I am Darth Revan.
So, what do you want, Starkiller?” questioned the Dark Lord as they broke the blade-lock and leapt back from each other.
“I killed your apprentice, what I want is to take his place.” answered Starkiller as their blades extinguished.
“So this is your audition?” asked Revan, interested, “got a name besides Starkiller?”
“Galen Marek, I served under you during the war.
I was at Malachor V, and I was one of Arren’s students.”
Taking a moment to study the boy, Revan nodded, “I name you Darth Starkiller.”
“Thank you, my Master.”
