Alban Knox, an infamous Phantom Thief, is off-duty and obviously bored. Nothing can amuse him that day and everyone seems to be ignoring his existence.
He picks up his phone and tries to reach for his beloved Onii only to be greeted with the lady informing that his line can't be connected for the call.
With frustration, he reached for his book and start to study along with lofi music accompanying him as he always does. Not too long after, he feels his eyes getting heavier and he soon driven into a dreamland.
In the dream, he is met with his kyoudaitachi and senpaitachi. They are waiting for him at the picnic table where there are a variety of foods. What really grabbed his attention is the cake on the middle of the table with a writing "Happy birthday, Alban"
He looks at everyone around the table start singing the Happy Birthday Song to him simultaneously. He feels his eyes watery as he hugs the closest person next to him, which turns out to be his onii.
"Alban.. alban @#+&$" he hears someone calling his name and he already figured out who is the owner of the voice. He then feels the earth he's standing on shakes, he cries harder and clenches onto his onii.
"Alban, wake up!" Sonny looks at Alban's face in concern, cupping the wet face and wiping the flowing tears with his thumbs. Alban slowly open his eyes and look at Sonny, his sunshine.
"O-onii?" he asked in disbelief, he was about to have the nicest dream where he meets everyone and celebrates his birthday but it's all just a dream now. Sonny give the brunette some times to gather himself up.
"I'm here, Alban.. I'm here.." Sonny hugs the latter and pats Alban's back soothingly.
"It was about to be a good dream, Sonny.. I can see everyone celebrating my day.. but in reality, I know everyone has been busy" he tells Sonny.
Sonny stares into Alban's heterochromia eyes before finally speaking ".. I have something to tell you but promise me you'll be a good otoutou, alright?"
Alban nods eagerly before stopping and whines as his head gets dizzier. Sonny chuckles, "silly boy"
Sonny brings his otoutou to the living room where it is quite dark but the off duty phantom thief can already make out the silhouette of peoples in the area before suddenly the lights been turned on and the silhouettes which turns out to be the whole NijiEN family, screamed
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALBAN!!"
