WARNINGS - SHARKS EATING PEOPLE

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Alastair thought he was getting lucky. He had finally gotten access to his former slave, Dean Winchester’s tracking information. Now Dean had caused him a lot of trouble, with all of his escape attempts, but Alastair knew slaves like him. After leaving his scent all over the area, knowing it will freak the omega out, he decides to treat himself for a little trip away. He finds himself an hour away in a hotel, next to an aquarium he decides to visit the following day.

The next day comes by quick, and Alastair checks the aquariums website, seeing a showing for late, after the aquarium is closed. He furrows his eyebrows but books it anyway. It’ll be better for him, he can’t deal with a lot the whiny, annoying children that will be visiting.

The alpha goes about his day, going out for dinner, snarling at omegas and thriving at the scent of fear omitting from them. Before it’s finally time to arrive at the aquarium. He walks in, looking around confused at the fact that he’s the only person there. He had expected a few people to be there, not just him.

“Hello, my name is Jimmy, I will be your guide today.” An alpha with dark brown hair and striking blue eyes says to him, locking the doors and Alastair raises his eyebrow. “We lock it after a certain time. And it’s just you here today so you have your own personal guide.”

“Okay, that’s great.” Alastair says, happy that he can enjoy the fishes by himself with no screaming around. Jimmy leads him through the aquarium, the water swooshing with the fish and some whales.

Jimmy’s going too fast, Alastair makes a note to write a complaint about it to the aquarium. They arrive at the shark exhibit, a large tank with three great white sharks inside. Jimmy motions for him to follow him up, to have a better view. Alastair is dubious as he follows him up the steps. They arrive at the top; Alastair looks into the tank and sees the great whites.

As he’s looking inside, he leans on the barrier next to him wincing as he feels it slice him. He looks at his hand, seeing it bleeding and he feels a shove. Alastair flails his arms as he lands in the water, he tries to climb out but Jimmy smirks at him.

“This is your karma for all those omegas you hurt,” Jimmy spits at him, closing the lid. Alastair hits the window of the tank, seeing the sharks circling around him. Only hitting it harder when Dean Winchester comes into view. Jimmy puts his arms around Dean’s shoulders.

Dean’s eyes are fierce as he glares at Alastair, watching a shark chomp down on his foot. “I’m not afraid of you. Not anymore.” He doesn’t care if the alpha can’t hear him, but he feels the need to say it. For closure. Dean looks at Castiel, who’s wearing the aquarium uniform. “Thank you Cas.”

Castiel smiles at him, and they watch as the sharks enjoy (or not really) Alastair. After Dean could smell Alastair’s scent around their house, he knew he had to do something about it. Castiel hated how terrified Dean had looked, and he never wants to see that again. Which is why he hatched a plan.

Castiel had bribed the owners at the aquarium to do this with quite a bit of money. They in return promised to clean up the tank before customers in the morning. Which is how he managed to pull it off. He had done some digging, along with Ash to find out where exactly Alastair is, using the number he had phoned the centre with. They had seen he was planning on visiting the aquarium based on his searches, Ash had hacked into his phone while Cas was sorting everything with the aquarium workers and made it so the offer would only show up on Alastair’s phone.

Dean wasn’t supposed to find out, but he had overheard Castiel talking to Ash on the phone about it all. Before demanding (which, Castiel was incredibly proud of him for doing) answers. Castiel wasn’t going to allow him to come, but Dean convinced him, telling him he wanted closure. And who was Cas to deny him that?

Now Michael and Lucifer Morningstar were a completely kettle of fish than Alastair had been. They hadn’t heard anything about Balthazar for a while and they were still under the impression the omega had drowned in Gabriel’s care. Michael had decided to visit Lucifer in London, they were then going to go Margate to enjoy the seaside. Arriving in London, Michael was already complaining about the coldness and the rain. He hadn’t taken into consideration that the British Summertime usually consists of rain, and only ever warmth when the weather feels like it.

He had met Lucifer in London and they had spent the day exploring, Lucifer showing Michael his favourite spots and restaurants. Michael had wanted to try Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant, so they had sat inside waiting to order when they see the chef himself.

“Well, I didn’t realise how much that old slave of ours and Dad’s looks like Gordon Ramsey.” Lucifer comments. Michael looks and he nods in agreement. Gordon walks over, his face turning sour as he recognises them both.

“You two. Out of my restaurant. Now.” Alpha red eyes glow, as he growls at them. Grabbing them by their arms and throwing them out onto the street. “I don’t want to see you two ever again in my restaurants. I don’t give a shit if you try shutting me down.”

He slams the door in their faces, and they make a few phone calls before making their way through the city. The next morning the weather is sunny, so they dedicate that day to their trip to Margate. They walk along the cliffs when a familiar smell hits their nose, Balthazar.

They turn, seeing the omega behind them, along with an alpha with shortish hair. “Well, well look who it is Luci.” Michael smirks. Balthazar stands straight, his face fierce as he looks ahead into Michael’s eyes. It angers Michael.

“I’m actually glad to have bumped into you.” Balthazar says, Michael goes to slap him, but the alpha stood next to him grabs his wrist, snapping it, his fingers dig in, drawing blood. Doing the same to Lucifer when he goes to defend his brother. “I actually wanted you to see that I am alive, and how well I’m doing for myself. You didn’t break me like you thought you would. Now. As you can see there is no one around. And there has been reports of great white sharks in the area that I simply must see as a first in British history.”

Balthazar smirks, pushing them both off the cliff and watching as they land in the sea with a splash. They flail to stay above water, swimming determined as they try to make it to shore but they’re pulled down immediately by the current, and Lucifer feels sharp teeth on his ankle. It’s too late as they’re both being chewed by great whites.

Balthazar and Gadreel had arrived home the following week. Gadreel had gone for support so Balthazar could visit his hometown again. It had been a coincidence that Michael and Lucifer was there. They sit on the sofa at Castiel’s one night, Sam had joined them also.

“Breaking News! Two hands have been washed ashore in Margate, United Kingdom, DNA tests have shown them to belong to both Michael and Lucifer Morningstar.” The news anchor explains that it is believed they had been eaten by sharks.

That night, both Balthazar and Dean could relax, knowing some of the monsters from their nightmares, or the ones that plague them the most, are no longer with them, instead they are in sharks stomachs, giving the poor sharks terrible indigestion.
