Chapter Text

"You know I could let you drive the sun chariot anytime you want. Maybe even do some target practice." Apollo tells Percy smiling at him.

"Um im really not that good at archery." Percy says looking away suprised the sun god is even talking to him.

Apollo frowns a little then smiles. "Well if you ever wish for me to teach you i can. And that offer of you driving or riding the sun chariot will always be on the table."

Percy looks at him confused. "Um. Thanks?"

Apollo nods and goes back to his sister pretty sure Percy did not get that he was flirting with him. But oh well just keep trying.

Percy goes over to Annabeth and Grover. "What did Apollo want?" Grover asks quietly.

Percy shrugs. "He was offering to teach me to shoot and drive the sun chariot."

"I think he was flirting with you." Annabeth says glancing at the god. "Im going to go talk to mom about rebuilding Olympus." She adds and walks away.

"Sooo. Are you going to ask Annabeth out?" Grover asks nudging him.

Percy shrugs. "Honestly i think we are better as friends." Percy tells him and looks at Hera who is staring at him strangly.

The next day Percy goes to camp so he can practice and see how everyone is doing. Him and Annabeth goes and trains sword fighting.

"So has Apollo tried to talk to you again?" Annabeth asks.

Percy shakes his head. "No he has not."

"Percy if he keeps trying to talk to you please be careful. Gods are dangerous especially Apollo. Even more so if he wants to date you. You know what happened to his past love interest?"

"They got turned into plants?"

"Or dead or both."

Percy looks down. "Ill be carefull."

When Percy is leaving camp he sees the god standing by his car. "Hello Percy." Apollo says smiling beutifully.

Percy freezes staring at him. "Oh um. Hi Apollo."

"How was your training?"

"It was fun."

"Ok. So. What exactly are you and Annabeth?" Apollo asks seeminh genuinely carius.

Percy thinks about lieing to him to get him to go awau but figured thayll be dangerous, for Annabeth as well. "We are friends. Shes like a sister to me."

"Good. Oh I got you somthing." Apollo says and holds out his hand a golden dolphin necklace appearing. "For you."

Percy carefully takes it. "This is beutiful."

"Just like you. Put it on."

Percy blushes a little and puts it on. "Thank you Apollo."

"Your welcome."

"Um. I need to go home. So bye." Percy says going to the driver side door.

"Would you like me to drive you?" Apollo asks staying on the passenger side to not look to creepy.

Percy shakes his head. "No thank you. Im sure you got more important things to be doing any way."

Apollo looks Percy up and down tilting his head a little. "Are you scared of me?"

"No. The gods dont scare me." Percy says trying to sound brave.

Apollo crosses his arms. "I heard your conversation with Annabeth. If you want me to leave you alone just tell me and I will."

Percy looks at him a little taken aback. "Um. I. I dont know."

Apollo sighs and goes around to were Percy is. "The people i turned into plants. I didn't mean for them to. I didnt want anybody to die. Or get hurt. And I dont want to hurt you."

"Apollo. I dont know okay. Just. Let me think okay."

Apollo smirks. "Thats not a no or for me to leave you alone. So that means i can keep trying to make you mine."

Percy goes to say somthing but the god dissapears so Percy wont be able to tell him otherwise. "Ass." He mumbles getting in the car.

When he gets home his mom is cooking and Paul is at the table making plans for the coming school year.

"Mom?" Percy says as he goes over to her.

"Hello Percy how was camp?"

"It was good. Just there is somthing weird going on."

"Do you want to talk about it? Its not another dangerous quest is it?"

Percy shakes his head. "No not a quest. Just. The god Apollo keeps trying to talk to me. He also gave me this necklace." Percy says showing his mother.

"Oh that looks nice."

Percy nods. "He seems to want me to date him."

"Well Percy. I wont tell you not to. Just please be careful. I know what it was like to date a god."

"I dont know if i want to. Apollo has a bit of a reputation with his love life and. Somtimes even his kids are scary."

Paul laughs a little. "One time we were talking about greek gods and one of my students shortened a story for him perfectly. Said he flayed a satyr for saying he was as good as a musician as Apollo and called him a twink." Paul frowns thaughtfully. "That dosnt help does it?"

"What about the people he loved?"

"Well i can say it seemed he genually did. Just bad luck really. At least its not Zues." He says shrugging.

"Yeah then id need to deal with Hera."

"Have you ever ran into the Roman gods? I mean if greek gods exist what about the romans they stole from the greeks... and then like. Egypt gods and Nordic like Thor?" Paul asks because hes still trying to get used to this stuff.

Percy thinks for a moment but the sound of thunder cuts his thoughts short. "I dont know i got to much to think about without adding more gods."

Chapter Text

Percy is home alone since Paul and his mom decide to go out on a date when he hears a nock at the door. Percy goes to open it and sees Apollo.

"Hello Percy." He says happily and holds out a stuffed animal Hippocampus. "I got you this."

"Oh. Thank you Apollo. Come in i guess." Percys says taking it.

Apollo follows Percy inside. "Your mom and step dads not here?"

"They went out."

"Would you like to go out?" Apollo asks. "I can take you anywere you want to go."

"Anywhere?" He asks and Apollo nods. "Even... Greece?"

"Okay not anywhere. Greece is to dangerus for demigods." Apollo corrects himself.

Percy nods biting his lip. Unsure if he should even accept going anywhere with the god. Unsure if he shoild have let the god inside his apartment. He watches as the god walks around the apartment looking at old pictures of Percy.

"Actually um. I think staying here is alright. No were i really want to go." Percy says grinning trying to hide how nervouse he feel.

Apollo nods slowly. "Would you like me to stay?"

Percy shrugs. "I think im do for some me time. I mean. I did like. Just finish a quest and all."

"Okay. I understand. If you change your mind just pray to me." Apollo says and dissapears.

Percy takes a deep breath and goes to fall on the couch placing the stuffed animal on the table.

Apollo appears on mount Olympus a little annoyed. Wondering why its so difficult to get Percy to like him and want to be around him. Youd think being a god anyone would be honord to get any sort of attention. But of course Percy has to be diffrent.

"Apollo." Posidon says gettting the gods attention. "Can you tell me why you keep talking to my child?"

Apollo looks away from the other god. "Well you see. I want to. You know. Date him?"

Posidon glares at him. "And what you just want him to be a little plaything like any other mortal youve been with resently?" Posidon remebers when Apollo used to actually love people. But since those all ended badly Apollo seemed to care less and less.

"No! Its not like that. Percy is. Diffrent." Apollo says pretty sure hes actually diffrent.

Poseidon slowly walks up to him towering over him power rolling off him in waves. "You better stop trying to get with him. And if you don't stop. And you hurt him. I swear on the river of Styx I will make your existence like Tartarus."

Apollo nods quickly. "I. I dont want to. Hurt Percy. I swear."

Posidon walks away leaving Apollo a little shaken.

He tries to calm his nervs and starts to make his way to the sun palace, wondering what exactly it is he wants from Percy. I definitely like him. I want to be with him. This isnt some game he isnt some mortal. Can i say i love him? Why did i stop trying to love people? He stops thinking as he remembers Hycanth and Daphne. Right everyone i have loved i got killed. Will I get Percy killed?

Percy decides to do the logical thing and ires message Rachel. She works for Apollo so she must be able to tell him what to do with the god.

"Percy? Hey how are you?"

"Im alright. Just your boss keeps bothering me." Percy says rolling his eyes.

She looks at him a little confused. "Why is lord Apollo bothering you?"

"You call him lord?"

She shrugs. "Just seems like i should."

"Well I dont know why, just know that he is trying to get me to go out with him." Percy says a little frustrated.

She grimmicas a little. "Yikes. Well personally id say bad idea. But thats all up to you."

"I just mean. He is hot. Just. Hes kinda scary and I dont know know to say no. Or have a good reason and again. Hes scary."

Rachel laughs. "Hes not scary. I mean. I shouldnt bad talk him, but hes not the brightest-"

"Hes the sun god..."

She rolls her eyes. "Smartest-"

"Isnt he also the god of teaching."

"Percy. Hes made some poor choices and has anger issues, what god dosnt, but hes nothing to be scared of."

Percy nods. "I just dont know."

Rachel smiles. "Its ok Percy. Ill see you at camp okay?"

"Bye." He says and cuts the connection.

Chapter Text

Percy goes to camp the next day and find Grover and Annabeth. Annabeth is trying to scale the climbing wall while Grover watches.

Grover looks at Percy and notices him wearing a necklace. "Were did you get that?"

"Oh. Apollo gave it to me."

"And your wearing it?" Annabeth asks as she gets off the wall.

Percy shrugs. "I like it."

Grover frowns a little. "What if he cursed it?"

"I doubt he did." Percy says frowning a little. "Trust me, if I can handle titans then I can handle one god." 

Grover looks a little worried but nods shakily. "You know he flayed a satyr  before right?"

"I don't think Apollo will flay you."

Annabeth sighs. "We trust you Percy, we just want you to be safe is all."

"Honestly I am a little scared... Just I don't know how to react when he comes around." Percy says shrugging. "Kinda pathetic I'm able to look the king of gods dead in the eye and deny immortality and tell everyone to be better parents but I'm to scared to deal with a god wanting to date me."

"I dont think thats pathetic." Annabeth says softly. 

Grover nods. "Yeah not at all."

"Thanks guys." Percy says and hugs them. 

Percy decides to take his friends out of camp for lunch as a treat for them selves and to hope for nicer times now that the titan war is over. But of course as they go back to the car monsters decide to attack, what is surprising though is when they all turn to dust by golden arrows before any of them can do a thing. 

When Percy looks in the direction the arrows came frown he sees the blond god smiling at him. "Hello Percy." He says happily. "Annabeth, Grover." 

"Isnt that against the rules?" Percy asks motioning to were the monsters were.

Apollo shrugs. "its fine. What dad wont know wont kill me."

"Right, so what do you want Apollo." Annabeth asks harshly. 

"Well, I want quite a few things. I was just passing by when I saw you guys about to be attacked so I figured I help out." Apollo explains innocently. 

Percy looks at him suspiciously. "Wanting nothing in return." 

Apollo smiles at him. "Absolutely nothing Αγάπη μου."

Percy blushes a little. "Okay, bye." He goes to the car his friends following close behind. 

Apollo frowns a little but disappears, not wanting to press Percy to hard on this. 

"I can't believe he broke the rules for you." Annabeth says quietly. 

Percy shrugs. "I can."

"Shouldn't we see this as a good thing though? Take advantage of a god being crazy enough for Percy to break the rules for him?" Grover asks.

Percy glances at him in the mirror. "Weren't you just scared of him?"

"Oh, I still am but that doesn't mean we can't use this."

Annabeth rolls her eyes. "We can't just use a god, even for protection. That'd make him mad if he found out." 

"I agree with wise girl, no using the god." Percy says and takes a deep breath. "I think its best we just ignore it tell he shows up again." 

That night Apollo shows up in Percys room. "Apollo what the fuck?" Percy says quietly not wanting to wake up his mom and Paul.

"Is that any way to greet a god?" Apollo asks sarcastically.

Percy glares at him. "It is when they show up uninvited in the middle of the night." 

Apollo pouts. "I had something that i wanted to give you and I'm to excited to wait." 

why am i scared of him again... oh yeah, he killed his past lovers. "Okay what is it?" Percy says a little exhausted and just wanting to get the god to leave. Hes to tired and Apollo is acting to cute to be scared of and think logically right now.... wait what? 

Apollo smiles and hands Percy a stuffed animal Pegasus. 

"Okay this is cute... were are you getting these stuffed animals from?" Percy asks.

The god frowns a little. Then he smiles. "I'm a god, I can do anything I want." 

Percy nods slowly. "Well thank you. Now go away I want to sleep."

Apollo disapears leaving Percy to sleep. 

Chapter Text

Percy walks along with beach at camp half blood with Rachel and Grover. "The god came to me last night." Percy says glancing at the ocean, wondering if his dad can hear him.

"He did? Whatd he want? He didnt touch you did he?" Grover asks suddenly defensive.

"No. He gave me a stuffed animal. Said he was to excited to wait." Percy says tossing a shell into the water to see if he can skip it.

"Thats nice if him." Rachel says glancing at the sky.

Percy shrugs. "I dunno. Was kinda weird having him just appear in the middle of the night. Like dude. Privacy."

"Yeah that can be annoying." Rachel mumbles.

Grover rolls his eyes. "I wonder if hes like. Actually stalking you. Maybe you should talk to your dad? Get him to get the guy to leave you alone."

"And if Apollo dont like that? He said i can tell him to back off but. I dont even know if i want him to. Its. Its all so. Confusing. Like. Its nice to have him coming and trying to get my attention. But. I dont know." Percy sighs and chuck a rock at the water enjoying the satisfying splash. "Apollos an ass."

Apollo frowns. Whatd he just say?

"Apollo!" He hears his uncle yell. Oh shit. "What the fuck do you think your doing with my son!" Posidon says storming into the sun palace furius power coming from him.

"Wooing him?"

"I told you to leave him alone. Hes walking by the beach talking about you and he said hes scared of you." Posidon says deadly calm.

Apollo frowns. "I dont mean to scare him. Really I dont want to hurt him..."

"Just stay away from him. I dont want my only son to be a plant." Posidon snaps and walks away.

Apollo glares at Posidon. Hes not going to be turned into a plant and ill make him not scared of me. Ill show you.

Apollo appears to Percy as hes about to enter his apartment building. "Apollo? You ok?" Percy asks noticing Apollo seems a little mad. Did he listen in on my talking about him?

"Im fine Perseus."

Percy looks at him. "Perseus? And what should i call you Apollon? Or Phoebus?"

"You can call me what ever you like Αγάπη μου."

Percy blushes and looks down. "Is there somthing you wanted?"

"Why are you scared of me?"

Percy quickly looks at him. "Why am i scared of you?" Percy repeats.

"I know that you are."

Percy frowns not wanting to upset the god who already seems a little mad. "Only if you swear on the river of styx that you wont hurt me."

Apollo frowns. "I swear on the rive of styx i will never hurt you. I dont want to hurt you Percy." He says softly.

Percy takes a deep breath. "Im scared of you because of your past. Youve. Killed people and turned them into plants."

"I dont want to do that to you Percy. I love you." Apollo says and is actually a little ahocked by that. And relizes yes. He does in fact love Percy.

Percy sighs. "Lets go talk inside." Percy turns to go into the building not wanting to attract any attention. His moms probably getting concerned.

Apollo follows him up to the apartment and inside.

"Mom im home." Percy calls. "Apollos with me."

Sally comes out of the kitchen. "Percy. And. Lord Apollo."

Apollo smiles. "Hello mrs. Jackson."

"Me and Apollo are going to go talk in my room." Percy says leading the god to his bedroom.

"Leave the door open." Paul calls.

Perct blushes lightly. "We are litteraly talking we are not dateing." Percy whines but leaves the door open any way.

"Not dateing yet!" Apollo says lightheartedly just to tease Percy.

Percy glares at him. "Apollo its not just me being scared of you as to why this is all so hard." He says and sits on the bed.

"Ok. What else is it then?" He asks crossing his arms.

"Well i mean.." Percy sighs reminding himself Apollo sworn not to hurt him. "Your a god youd probably get bored of me. And want to be with other people while we are dateing."

"Maybe ill get bored of you. But whos to say that dosnt happen with mortals as well? And im actually monogamous... the other gods tease me for it." Apollo sighs. "But i dont plan on getting bored of you any time soon. If you dont become immortal i plan to be with you tell you die naturally or want me to to leave."

"And thats the other thing. I dont wat to live forever, and see everyone die. And. And your. A god."

Apollo nods slowly. "That dosnt make this any less worth it. An internety or your life time. I think every second with you will count."

Percy looks down. "Well. That was all i had..."

"What can I do. To show you I mean it. That i wont hurt you. That I love you." Apollo asks pleadingly.

Percy sighs. "I dont know."

"One date. Come with me on one date. And maybe I can convince you." Apollo smiles enjoying his plan.

"Okay fine."

Apollo smirks. "Be sure to dress nice Perseus. And ill treat you as the prince i belive you are." Apollo winks and dissapears.

Percy stares at the spot the god was standing in wondering what he just agreed to.
