Chapter Text
last time on wifeses (sort of, because technically last time was the weiss and blake sidestory, what is meant by ‘last time’ here is divorceses, the second installment in the wifeses saga)
anyway, LAST TIME, ON WIFESES:
“we are happily wifeses” said ruby and cinder
“i’m gonna do a little trolling” said dark ruby “i will be wifeses with cinder”
and then ruby was upset and cinder go with dark ruby, but then ruby and dark ruby fight
“i am betray you dark ruby” cinder said, and betrayed dark ruby
and dark ruby died
“we are happily wifeses again!” said ruby and cinder
but then something else happened and ruby was upset at cinder
“i am upset at you, cinder! we are now divorceses forever!” said ruby, and ran away while cry
and cinder was very sad and that was the end of it
also pyrrha went on a balloon trip around the world, she wasn’t present for any of these events, and Velvet was not involved in them in any way whatsoever
and now, for the next installment of wifeses:
everything is perfect in Velvetview: a wifeses group project
“Ah, another hard day of work finished,” said Velvet, putting her notebook down on her writing desk. She cracked her fingers and pulled back her chair, before she stood up and walked to the window of her office.
As she stared at the vast and beautiful expanse of the town outside, Velvet couldn’t help but smile. It was a perfect day and the citizens of Velvetview were perfectly happy, and that was partly – if not wholly – due to her herculean efforts.
“But gosh, it sure is hard work being the mayor.” She sighed. “Probably the hardest work anyone has ever done in the history of work, for sure. If only there was some way to make it easier.”
She heard a faint rustling of paper behind her, and when Velvet turned to look, she saw seven stacks of paper had mysteriously appeared atop her writing desk. She froze, for a moment apprehensive, before she gathered the courage to walk over and examine the papers.
Wonder and joy filled her heart as she realized this was exactly what she had been wishing for.
“Someone wrote these?”
Velvet looked to the left. Velvet looked to the right.
She pulled the papers closer and hugged them to her chest.
“I wrote these."
