Graduation
It was a beautiful day on Vegeta-sei. Today was Graduation Day for the high school in the main kingdom. The class was not too great of a size but was nowhere near small. Many of the students belong to families that work in the royal palace or are a part of the royal family.
Pan’s father was the right hand to the king, which happened to be Bulla’s father. The girls were born only a few months apart, and instantly becoming best friends. The girls grew up together along with pan’s older brother Goten, and Bulla’s brother Trunks. They were both only a few years older than both girls. Now that the girls were finishing high school, they boys were graduating university.
Goten wanted to go to school to be an engineer, and he successfully received his degree with no problem at all. He had his moments where everyone thought he was dumber than a bag of rocks. Although so did all the son’s thanks to their Papa Goku. Thankfully their Mama made sure they followed their schoolwork, and always received high scores.
Trunks was always a super intelligent individual since he was very young. He knew everything you could even imagine about Sayain History along with History on Earth. All the Royal Children, along with the Son Children were half sayain, half Earthling. Since they had both heritages and cultures in their blood, Trunks wanted to make sure he knew everything. He ended up going to school for Business and History. He began his classes halfway through high school, so he could graduate at the same time as Goten, His best Friend.
Pan and Bulla both didn’t know what they wanted to do with their lives yet, although bulla could live with just being the princess the rest of her life. Pan on the other hand knew she wanted something more than that. She wanted to travel for a year and decide what best fit her desires.
As the Ceremony began, the students took their seats according to living class. Pan and Bulla were at the front, along with bullas cousin Tanaya. She was king Vegeta Niece, Belonging to His brother Lord Tarble. The Girls were close, but no where near as close as pan and bulla were to each other.
Bulla noticed the headmaster got to the front of the stage, standing in front of the royal Family. “Welcome ladies and gentlemen” He then turned and gave his respect to the king, queen, and their Family. “I am very happy to begin this ceremony and before I do, I would like to remind all of you students the opportunity that will be bestowed on you if you wish to take it. An email will be sent out this evening and I will be waiting for you answers. Every graduating class has the chance to go on a trip to their planet of choosing with full permission of the royal family for a whole year.” Both the girls looked at each other, exchanging smiles and Giggles. They were aware of the program that the king had in place. It was started long ago, when the king himself was a teenager. That is how King Vegeta and Goku met their wives.
The headmaster motioned for a speaker to come on the stage. Both Girls didn’t know who was speaking because it was being kept from the students. They weren’t hiding anything; they just didn’t need to know.
Many People Gasped when a young, Handsome, Lavender Haired Prince took the stage in his royal uniform. “Good afternoon ladies, Gentleman, Students, and Teachers. This day is the beginning of the rest of your lives. You can literally choose anything to do. ….. well not anything, you should be responsible.” This Comment received a loud giggle come from the queen herself, along with many teachers, and they three girls in the first row of students. “He literally Got drunk and high for two months after he graduated high school with goten because they missed all the attention” Bulla whispered to pan.
“Anyways, I received the same opportunity to go to another planet when I graduated 5 years ago. I however was not able to carry out my journey due to Family concerns” Trunks Trailed off. Trunks and Bullas grandfather Vegeta Sr. had died just before trunks graduated high school. He decided he didn’t want to leave his father after this occurred. Goten agreed and stayed behind with his best friend.
“Please take this opportunity to see what life there is out there. You never know what you may find out.” Trunks Projected to the younger sayains. “Now, Headmaster Jeru has given me the honor of allowing me to disperse this years Diplomas.” Pan instantly got nervous and blushed so much she thought she would pour sweat when she stood up. She always had a crush on trunks, and he seemed to have a thing for her as well, but she was oblivious too according to Bulla. She enjoyed his company and since she has known him since she was born, they had a very honest and loving relationship. Besides Bulla and Her brother Goten, Trunks was her best friend.
“Bulla Briefs….” Bulla walked on stage and received a large storm of claps from the entire courtyard. Her brother handed her the diploma and gave him a hug. After that she turned to her parents and bowed showing her respect, before running and hugging them both. A Small smile crossed the prince’s face before his two favorite words came out, “Pan Son….”

“Pan Son…” Pan heard her name come out of her Prince’s mouth and a smile crossed across her face. She stood from her seat and climbed the steps to the stage. She walked up to him, and he stuck her diploma out for her to reach before he jokingly pulled it back. He giggled as she gave him a classic Pan Glare. He smiled and opened his arms for her. She accepted his hug, but before she could pull away, pan felt trunks breath on her ear. She shivered, and he noticed the affect he gave her. “My My Panna, wait till I give you your present later for your birthday” Trunks whispered into her ear. She must have looked startled because he grabbed her hand and placed her diploma in it, grabbing her attention away from those Artic blue eyes she could stare at for hours and be content.
Pan walked a few steps past trunks and bowed to the royal family, which she was returned with open arms from her papa and mama, along with her Queen Bulma, oldest brother Gohan, and His wife Marron. She gave a nod to King Vegeta which made him give her a small smirk along with a nod in return.

Pan returned to her chambers, removing her dress and graduation attire. She replaced them with her Black fighting pants, along with a Ruby Red tank top that showed her curves and breast modestly. She placed her hair in a high ponytail, just allowing her small bangs to fall. She finished her attire with some Black combat boots, her Utility belt that draped across her like a sash, and her Ruby Red Necklace with the sayain Crest that she received as a gift from Trunks on her 15th birthday.
Flashback – 3 Years Ago
Pan never got excited about her birthday. To her it was just another day. She Sat on her favorite cliff on a distant mountain on the east side of the castle. She enjoyed nature, much like her Papa. She could stay outside 24/7 if her mama would let her. The second sun on Vegeta- Sei was descending, and the cool evening air began to pass her, blowing her hair in the wind. She was content spending her birthday this way.
Soon she felt a shift in the air when she turned around and found 20-year-old Trunks standing behind her. He greeted her with a warm smile and sat next to her. He was the only person that knew of her favorite cliff. Once she went off and fell asleep worrying her family. Trunks Found her and she asked him to not disclose the location so it could be her sanctuary. He agreed as long as she always kept her phone on her.
“What has you up here and not down at the castle for your birthday celebration. I figured you would be excited about getting presents, eating food, and sparring. What’s got you out here” trunks asked her with such a warm tone to his voice. He noticed she was shivering a little due to the sun going down. He removed his jacket and wrapped it around her which earned him a famous Pan Smile.
“I don’t care about Presents. The food and Sparring is my cup of tea but I just wanted to be by myself for a while” Pan Said to her friend. Trunks Didn’t want to intrude on her alone time so he began to stand when a hand grabbed his arm. “Where are you going” Pan asked Trunks, causing him to sit back in his spot. “I was going to let you be alone like you wanted” Trunks said. Pan placed her head on his shoulder and simply said “I want you to stay with me”. How could he say no to that? So, trunks adjusted himself, so she was leaning on him comfortably.
He wasn’t an idiot; Pan was a beautiful woman. He knows she is becoming a woman because in the past few weeks, she has filled out in all the right places, not going unnoticed by many men in the kingdom. When they went anywhere and he seen anyone looking at her, he gave them a death glare, which is not something you want coming from the prince. She was so beautiful, Strong, and perfect in his eyes.
“I have a present for you” Trunks whispered so quiet that if she wasn’t a sayian she wouldn’t have heard him. She lifted her head from her place on his chest since he readjusted. He told her to close her eyes which she did after she gave him a confused look. She felt something slightly hit her in the chest and she gasped. She felt trunks fiddling with something behind her head, before pulling her hair up. She looked down and seen a beautiful silver chain, accompanied by an amulet that was a gorgeous Ruby Red color, that had the Sayian Crest engraved into it.
“Trunks…. This is beautiful. I love it. Thank you so much” she managed to get out before she sniffed fighting back the tears. “Actually, I have another surprise.” Pan looked curious as she closed her eyes. She heard Trunk’s chuckle, then she felt him give her a kiss on the cheek causing her cheeks to burn. “The second surprise is this….” He motioned to the amulet falling from his neck. It was almost identical to pan, except it was on a golden chain. “They are matches…. If there any significance to why?” she asked thinking it was a friendship thing through the royal family.
“Do you See how bright the ruby is shining right now? That means we are close. When the two necklaces that were made from the same ruby are this close, they become very vibrant. As if calling for each other. Its significance means that I am myself, and whole, when closest to my best friend…. You Panna.”
END OF FLASHBACK
Pan smiled as she remembered the memory behind her necklace. She held it in her hand and descended the stairs to the dining room, where Bulma was throwing a graduation party for her, Bulla, Trunks, and Goten. She entered the room and was caught by surprise when everyone in the room yelled “Happy Birthday Pan”. Tomorrow was her Birthday and she had finally convinced her family she didn’t need a party anymore after she ditched her 15th party. Her Parents came to her giving her a hug and told her they were focusing the party on the four kids graduating, but they didn’t want to miss the chance to scare her with a birthday surprise.
Pan told everyone thank you as they wished her a happy birthday. She made it over to her brother and the Brief Siblings. She noticed trunks necklace light up and it made her smile. “What are you guys talking about?” pan asked her group of friends. “Well… The boys have a surprise for us!” Bulla exclaimed. “You don’t look very surprised Bull, almost like they already told you “She laughed. “We tried waiting on you sis, but fussy butt over here was threatening to tell Bulma and Vegeta what really happened to that Vase in the Tv room.” Goten Hissed between his teeth.
The Boys were not gently beings whatsoever. They Broke many things in the castle since they were young boys. Luckily, they usually found someone to blame. This time it was poor Abure, pan and Goten’s Cousin. “Uncle Raditz grounded him for a month for breaking that!” Pan said as if she was shocked that the boys would do something like that.
“Panna do you want to know the surprise? I’m So excited to tell you.” Trunks said, almost jumping with excitement. “Okay okay tell me I’m dying to know.” Pan said as if she was not even remotely interested in the conversation because she knew it was making trunks think twice and then he would stop jumping.
“When you guys decide to go on the trip to whatever planet you want to go, Trunks and I are going to go with you since we didn’t get to go when we graduated!” Goten Said with just as much as excitement as trunks had before.
All Pan could do was jump into Trunks arms and yell, “This is going to be the best year ever”.
