"Palutena, why aren't there any other angels?" Pit and Palutena finally had a break after the latest onslaught of Smash battles, and the two were currently relaxing back in Skyworld. "Palutena?" Pit turned towards the goddess, who had a distant look in her eyes. Pit poked her shoulder, causing the goddess to quickly snap out of her trance. "Huh? What did you say, Pit?" Pit knew Palutena had heard him, but repeated his question anyways. "Why aren't there any other angels besides me?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. "You're not the only one; you have Pittoo!" Pit huffed at the obvious dodgy answer. "Pittoo is a reflection of me. I'm talking about angels that are their own person." Paluntena sighed, realizing Pit wasn't going to drop this like he would anything else. "There was one other angel under my rule. She was around the same age as you both physically and in angel terms. You and her were. . . Very close." Pit's face instantly contorted into confusion. "I don't remember any other angel." Palutena closed her eyes and took a deep breath, before turning back towards Pit. "If you really want to know, I can show you. It'll hurt a lot; physically and likely emotionally." Pit eagerly nodded, unaware of what he was getting into. Palutena touched his laurel crown, and the moment she pulled away, everything came rushing back to Pit. (Name) her name was (name). She had the most beautiful (color) hair, that the wind blew in the most captivating ways. Her (color) eyes shone like gems, and he would constantly find himself getting lost in them. The pink hue she would get when with him complemented her (tone) skin so well that even Pit became flustered. So many happy memories flashed through his head, until he came to her demise. The battle was a particularly heated battle against the Underworld forces, and both Pit and (Name) were exhausted from the boss battle they just finished. Out of the corner of his eye, Pit saw (Name) flug back against the wall, her head making a sickening crack that echoed throughout. In a split second, Pit was at her side, slashing at the nearby enemies before cradling the girl in his arms. He tried to stop the bleeding with his tunic, but it quickly soaked through. The light was quickly fading from the girl's eyes, but a faint smile still graced her features. "I. . . Lo. .ve yo. . ." Blood began to slowly trickle out her mouth, and Pit gently kissed her lips, as if giving her and him one last happy memory. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and Pit delicately closed her eyes and propped her again the wall. He shakily rose to his feet, and turned towards the remaining enemies. His eyes held a fiery passion, and the angel looked quite frightening with his tunic soaked in his love's blood. He was practically seeing red, and he quickly and viciously tore through the forces. The last thing he remembered was turning towards (Name)'s body, before everything went black.
The angel gasped in both pain and anguish as he was returned to current time, tears streaming down his face as he shook. Paluntena gently wrapped her arms around him, and Pit sobbed into her shoulder at the loss of his first love.
