A Walk In The Park (To Capture One's Heart)

Summary:

To Capture One's Heart is an OC story I'm working on.
Premise:
To Capture One's Heart (often shortened to TCOH), is styled like a dating sim. It has choices you make and those choices change how the story goes.
You control Timothy, a young man who feels bored of life, wanting excitement, something new! That's when he and his best friend, Dexter, run into the rest of our lovable cast! Well err... maybe lovable is an overstatement at the moment. Perhaps you should try to earn their trust, friendship, and maybe even, their affection.
All of Timothy's tough choices are yours to make! Which bachelor or bachelorette will you fall in love with?

This particular work was practice for writing branching paths, originally posted on my tumblr @beelas-bees-art, January 2021, so the writing and art is old. While being a romance story, this whole work is very early in the story and therefore is pre-slash.

Chapter 1: Where Should I Go?

Summary:

You are the main character Timothy Conrad! (he/him)
Decide where to take him!

Chapter Text

Timothy:

Arriving at the new neighborhood park, I stopped at the entrance to take a look around. Now that I don’t have Tabby and Mikey following me around, I can properly take a look at the surroundings.

Looking directly across from the entrance gate, the background is framed with a far mountain, bringing in the whole atmosphere to be more outdoorsy.

The Ottoman Lake stood almost smack dab in the middle of the park, with thick woods to the sides and behind it.

To the left is the plains where the dog owners hung out, better avoid that place unless I wanna be slobbered over again.

The trails were neat and small, made up of gravel, benches and lampposts lining the path until it reached the woods, where the cleanliness fell flat.

Towards the back there was also a hilly section where a playground stood, it was quite a walk aways so I should probably wait before going there.

Now here’s the question, where should I go?
