Yuma, Astral, Tori, Bronk, Flip, Caswell, and Cathy (why did I take the time to name all these kids they are barely relevant) were all just enjoying a nice day at the beach. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. No clouds allowed in the sky. So they were swimming in the ocean.
Shark walks in with a mischievous grin.
THUNDER
(Stop we are not singing that song right now!)
Shark does not have a grin actually. He has his normal facial expression that makes him always look like he’s annoyed with someone (everyone).
“Hey guys, look! Shark is in the water.” Yuma said. Him and Astral then watched as the rest of their friends screamed and ran out of the water.
“Hey, why’d everyone leave?” Yuma asked.
“I believe they thought you were referring to a shark as in the animal, rather than the person.”Astral answered.
Then Reginald swam over to Yuma. Rio was with him.
“Hi Shark! Hi Rio!”
“Hi Yuma!” Rio exclaimed with the same excitement that Yuma had.
Shark on the other hand, was unenthusiastic, as always and he said nothing.
“Why is everyone out of the water?” Rio asked.
“Oh well I told them that Shark was here, but I guess they thought that I meant an actual shark was in the water.”
“That’s understandable.”
A fin was sticking out of the water. Well that’s great. Now there actually was a shark. Well neither Yuma or Rio wanted to get attacked, so they quickly swam out.
Reginald on the other hand, was very excited to finally meet a real shark. His facial expression had actually changed, and he was smiling a bit. He had been called Shark for years, if he swam away now he would be a coward, and completely undeserving of being called a shark.
“Reginald, you idiot! The shark is swimming right towards you!” Shark had never listened to his sister before. Why start now? He’s been playing a deck of sharks for so long, it would be pathetic if he was scared of one.
Besides, Shark wasn’t afraid of anything.
Well, except for onions…
And if ogres are like onions, is he also scared of Shrek? I’ll have to ask him later.
The shark had approached Reginald, and stopped.
Out of the shark’s mouth came actual words ._.
“The shark DNA flows through you, you are a shark brother. Even though your hair looks like an octopus. Even though you live amongst the humans, we shall not betray you. You are still part of our shark family. We are forever loyal to you, Reginald Shark Kastle.”
Reginald shed a tear. How beautiful.
He pressed his forehead to the shark’s.
“Thank you brother. I am grateful to be a part of the shark pack.”
“You always have a home in the ocean if you feel so inclined.”
“I truly appreciate the offer, but my duty to my sister here on the land comes first.” Reginald
Oh??? Reginald valuing his sibling??? Rio was shook.
“That is very admirable. We are proud to have you as a fellow shark. Alright now brother, i must swim and swoosh away. Till we meet again Reginald. Our shark on land.” He then told Reginald to bend down, and he did. Once he was at a lower level, the shark kissed him on the forehead, and yes shark’s do have lips.
Yuma and his friends watched in complete and utter shock.
Rio was especially surprised.
What the actual heck.
The shark swam away, deep into the vast ocean, and Reginald swam to the shore. His eyes were filled with tears.
“Reginald??? Are you crying???Are you okay???” Rio asked him.
“It was too beautiful…” he replies, sobbing.
“It ain’t that deep bro.”
Shark sobbed even louder. “YOU COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND!”
Astral took a handful of sand and carefully put it in his mouth.
“Observation number 162, sand is a delicious snack. Yuma, have you tried this??? It tastes so good.”
