It was their third day at U.A and they were going to ground beta to do a hero trading exercise with the one and only All Might!
When the hero students walked into ground beta’s observation room All Might read what they were doing off of a note card.
Turns out they were a doing a hero vs. villian type of exercise.
What they were not expecting was All Might calling out the mysterious green headed boy that somehow calmed down their resident bomb, Bakugo Katsuki.
“Young Midoriya you should sit this one out seeing as tho-“, he got cut off by Midoriya
“If you say because I’m quirkless I will roundhouse kick you.”
The entirety of class 1-A were shocked by this new information about their classmate, except one Bakugo Katsuki who wore a feral grin.
“But, but”, All Might stuttered, “it’s a valid excuse, quirkless people weaker from those with quirks, you’ll just end up hurt!
“Listen here Ass-Might”, Midoriya was suddenly at wrapped around All Mights shoulders, knife from who knows where angled at All Mights throat, “just because you’re the number one hero doesn’t mean I’m going to just follow whatever the hell you say! I worked my ass off to get where I am today, I am as strong and smart as anybody else in this class. So I will be participating in this trading exercise”, Midoriya pauses tilting his head to the side in a slightly manic way.
“...or would you like me to call uncle Sho during his lunch break and have him come down here? I’m sure he wouldn’t like that.”
Midoriya hops off of All night and stands near Bakugo.
The class watches as All Mights smile falters a bit and his face pale.
“No, no I don’t think that’ll be Necessary young Midoriya!”, All Might spawns a towelette from who knows where and dabs the sweat off of his forehead.
“All right!”, All Might says with what all of 1-A can tell us fake enthusiasm, “everyone come and take a slip of paper!”, he holds out a styrofoam cup filled with paper, his hand visibly shaking.
Ashido turns turns to Kirishima.
“That was intense right?”
Kirishima just nods his head, still in shock of the situation.
