Chapter 1: How The Game Works

Chapter Text

*Before you read!*

Please do note that there are certain characters that I’m not doing justice with their skills and other characteristics. I do not watch all of them and therefore my information is empty in some parts and not in others. If you would like to add on something please put it in the comments. I hope you understand.

Characters who I don’t know much of: Yugo Asuma; Ike Eveland; Vox Akuma; Shu Yamino
___________
💑🥰
Trust (Basic): Present in all characters and decides what they do with certain people.

Trust (All): Make someone do orders (Only for leaders/leadership figures - success chance dependant on the amount of trust - 50% trust, only 1 per person/ 75% trust, 3 per person/ 100% trust, 5 per person) (Leadership figure - 75% trust, 2 per person/ 100% trust, 4 per person); diminishes trust when plan goes wrong.

Trust (Group): Characters in the story (When not ordered to do anything) will do their own actions depending on their disposition and relationships with other people. When the trust between people gets to 50%, they will form a temporary group which will increase their production when working together by 15%. When trust gets to 100% they will become a permanent group and production will become 25%. At 105% trust, production in the group will increase to 35%) - Temporary groups last for 3 in-game days (3 day cooldown in between) while permanent ones can last for the whole game, but trust can fall and groups can disband.

Favorability: Make someone do favors for you (For everyone - success chance dependant on the amount of favorability (Exactly same as orders)) - 1 favor every 5 days; favorability diminishes when favors are used. (When favorability gets to 85% favors can be used/ -15% favorability when favor used)

*At 85% favorability, 5% trust is added every time favorability goes higher by +5. The cap for favorability is 100%, but can increase by +1% during certain events.

At 105% favorability, relationships will form between two characters and an automatic +15% trust is added*

*Trust, with the exception of (All) doesn’t allow for one to make a character do something, only favorability can.*
__________

All percentages are out of 100 except for trust and favorability which can go beyond 100% during certain events.

Choosing A Character’s Stats and Abilities:

The stats and abilities chosen for a certain character are a mix of their actual abilities when doing certain actions and from perceived abilities pertaining to their occupation.

For example, Alban Knox has a lot of skills that may be had in a phantom thief such as hiding in the shadows, stealing, etc… but it’s very likely he doesn’t actually have those skills. Those are skills that his occupation has. (Average of around 15% for occupational skills)

Another one would be Luca Kaneshiro, who has the parkour skill. It’s very likely that Luca isn’t actually able to do parkour, but based on his Getting Over It streams, I have deemed him fit to have the parkour skill. (Average of around 10% for personal skills)

There are also times where one’s actual abilities and occupational skills will combine. For Luca, he has a gunmanship skill of 10%. When it comes to occupational skills, 90% of the time they will have a higher modifier than one’s personal skills (With the exception of when one is truly skilled in a certain aspect). However, we have seen Luca’s gunmanship skills in Valorant, and his character is likely to be skilled in guns because he is the leader of a mafia. So, I combined both skills together to get 10% instead of 15% (Which is the average for occupational skills).

Any percentages out of the normal 10% or 15% (For example: 25% or 35%) are skills that usually need certain conditions to be unlocked.

Legatus cannot be obtained through normal means like other characters. He is an extension of Fulgur Ovid's abilities. Only through doing certain actions and certain conditions can he be obtained. This is why most of his stats are a lot higher than the other characters.

Uki Violeta himself is a regular character, but has a special hidden skill that can be activated to turn him more powerful if certain conditions are met. The way to get him this way is quite complicated so his skills and stats will rise exponentially like Legatus. However, unlike Legatus, Uki was a lower starred character and therefore has less abilities in comparison.

Then there's Mysta. Mysta has no weird abilities that raise his strength, in fact his character is about as normal as it can almost get, with the exception of his cooking skills. Because of that I have raised his cooking ability to a -35% success rate and even if he succeeds, there is a slight chance that you may get food poisoning. Of course, his irl cooking skills aren't that bad to the point where it will give someone food poisoning, but it's just funny to have.

Vox Akuma & His Stats

As a demon, naturally his stats should be 11, which is a number representing a stat that goes beyond the peak of humanity. However, his stat is only a 9, not even the peak of humanity. For this, I will give him lore. (I’m bored okay)

Demons have been around for centuries, committing many acts of evil across the land. An average demon will be around 2500 years old, while the oldest will be 4000+. Many varieties have existed since their conception, but voice demons had only appeared 1000 years ago. In the beginning, voice demons had been considered a myth, but when the first voice demon turned 1000, their fame then began to spread rapidly throughout the realms. An army of 200 hypnotized, and over 500 willingly serving shook the world. The elder demons temporarily took down the voice demon together after heavy casualties. They then began the hunt so that their thrones would never be challenged by outsiders again.

Only the cowardly survived, hiding away in the human world for hundreds of years. But when they were found out humans began hunting them too. Voice demons before the age of 500 couldn’t even control one person temporarily, let alone as many as their ancestors did. They could only hide and blend in, some even mixing their blood and living their whole life with their fangs hidden. Eventually, the need for demons to hunt died down into a mellowness. Their power diminished, and there were even times where they couldn’t even compete against the best of humans. With many angered at the prospect and wishing to avenge their ancestors, they attempted to come out of hiding and return to the demon world. They were lambs to a slaughter. The whole lot inexperienced, and power rivaling demons that were only a 100 years of age killed nearly the last of them off. In the world, there are less than 100 who have survived and even less each century.

Mental Ability (Personal & General) vs Mental Ability (Trait):

Trait:
This can include positive traits such as positive uplifting, negative traits such as negative views, or neutral traits such as overthinker.

Numerical:
A high (personal) mental ability will allow for one to obtain positive mental traits easier while a low mental ability will make it easier for one to obtain negative mental traits easier.

A high (general) mental ability will allow for one to obtain positive mental traits easier while a low mental ability will make it easier for one to obtain negative mental traits easier.
