Tubbo woke up to the sound of screams,he turned to the side and saw Tommy,his eyes had a faint blue glow that was fading
he didn't know for a fact what had happened,but Tommy's emotions told him enough
Fear
Confusion
his power certainly comes in handy often
He sighed “nightmare?“
Tommy nodded
he pulled him into a hug “its okay,they’re not real”
“i-i know but they feel real”Tommy sniffled
“Was it Ranboo again?”he asked,Tommy slowly nodded
“he’s…still asleep somehow,you can check on him”
Tommy turned around and saw Ranboo,who was still sleeping soundly through all the noise
“y-yeah he is,he’s alright”Tommy sniffled and lied back down
“hey don't worry,i’ll make sure nothing ever happens to him or you”he placed his arm over Tommy as he lied back down
“Promise?”
“of course”he nodded
“i’ll keep you two safe no matter what”
Tubbo woke up and stretched his arms,Tommy was still asleep and Ranboo was gone
he got out of bed and left their room,he walked to the kitchen and saw Ranboo there making a few sandwiches
“Morning”he called out as he reached the kitchen
“Morning,how did you sleep?”
“good,Tommy got another nightmare though”he lamented
Ranboo sighed “we need to do something about that,he’s been getting them for months”
“i know but i just don't know what we could do,we’re barely getting by as is,you’re the only one that could get a job cause you’re so tall,Tommy isn't even fourteen yet”he sighed
“yeah…maybe we could find a way for you two to make money,i honestly don't know how we could though…”
“hi”Tommy called out as he walked to the kitchen
“oh hey Tommy”Ranboo waved at Tommy
“What's for breakfast?”Tommy asked as he walked closer to Ranboo
“sandwiches,i'm done actually so here”Ranboo grabbed a plate with a sandwich and handed it to Tommy
“Thanks!”Tommy chirped as he walked to their living room
“and one for you”Ranboo grabbed two other plates with sandwiches and handed him one,the two of them walked to their living room with Tommy
as they reached the living room they sat down on the floor,it wasn't much of a living room,those are supposed to have couches he;s pretty sure,at least the one from his parents house had one
he misses them
Tommy grabbed the remote off the floor and turned the tv on,it wasnt that new,but to them it was great
the channel the tv was on was a sports channel,Tommy changed the channel and landed on a news channel,it looked like two of the mayor candidates were having a debate
“Oh come on,she’s only gotten this far because the other choice is reelecting the crazy guy”the candidate taunted,he had black hair and wore a black suit,looking at the name that was on his podium he was called Quackity
“oh are you projecting?”the other candidate smirked,she had black hair with orange highlights and wore an orange suit,she also had orange wings,looking at the name on her podium she was called Estelle
“oh come on am i wrong? you’re the new kid on the block,you’ve barely showed up a year ago,no one knows what to expect from you”
“Maybe so,but my work has shown enough,it has shown that i'm with the city,mayor or not. I have helped the city on the ground and whether or not I'm elected I will continue to help it,can you say the same?”
“oh please,i’ve always fought for the people,i was the one against this damn mayor in the first place!”
“Then what's your problem with me again?”
“Why you-“
“Politics are boring”Tommy stated as he switched the channel to some cartoon
“Yeah,they should box instead”he said
“Yeah!”Tommy nodded
“Wouldn't that be sort of…bad?”Ranboo asked
“It would be funny though!”
“I guess you're right,it would be funny!”Ranboo nodded
The three of them stayed silent after that and kept watching the cartoon,at least until the lights went out
“Goddammit,did you pay for the electricity?”he asked Ranboo
“I thought you would? This months your turn”
“Wh-fuck it was,sorry”he sighed
“Hey its ok Tubbo,we can go pay it right now!”Tommy stood up “i'm gonna put some shoes on”Tommy ran to their bedroom
“Yeah,i guess we should go pay it,lets go”Ranboo stood up and walked to their bedroom,he followed him
The three of them put some shoes on and walked back to their living room,Ranboo created a portal at the center of it
“You have the money?”he asked Ranboo
“Yup”Ranboo nodded
“Then lets go”Tommy walked through the portal,Him and Ranboo followed him,they ended up in some alleyway
Ranboo began walking out of it,he and Tommy followed him,once they exited the alley they ended up in the town square,at the fucking center of the city
“Why did you take us this far? I usually pay it at Pogtopia”
“Well i pay it at the mall,it's cheaper”
“Wait really? Fuck i should start doing that”
“well lets go”Tommy began walking to the mall,he and Ranboo followed him
the three of them arrived at the mall
“alright,i'm gonna go pay for the electricity,don't get lost”Ranboo waved at them and began walking away
“Well,um what do we do now?”Tommy asked
“look around i guess,i didn't really bring any money,but we can look at things”
“okay i'm going that way”Tommy pointed to the left of the mall and began running towards it
he sighed,might as well look around the place while he was here
he walked forwards towards the escalators,he’s been to the mall before,not much but once or twice
once the escalator brought him to the top he began walking forward,straight ahead he saw a large store,he recognized it as Clems boutique,good clothes but expensive as fuck
he began walking to the left to look at some other stores,he walked around for a bit,nothing really caught his eye,they didn't really have any money to spend right now but looking was nice
eventually though,he got a call,he pulled out his flip phone and opened it,it was Tommy
oh god,did someone go up to him? fuck last time they had to pretend Ranboo was eighteen…
whatever,just…hope for the best\
He answered the call and brought the phone to his ear “Tommy,what's up?”
“TUBBO COME DOWN”Tommy shouted excitedly
“Wh-whats wrong?”
“Come down! i found something cool”Tommy hung up the call
goddammit
he began walking to the escalators at the left of the mall,he reached them and began going down them,he looked around and saw Tommy talking to a strange looking old woman with gray hair
he walked towards them,they were not far from the escalator “hey,what's up?”he asked Tommy
“Look!”Tommy showed him a weird looking doll,it had brown hair and was wearing a black shirt “its uncle nasty!”
“That's…great Toms,where did you get…Uncle nasty?”
“This old lady gave him to me!”
“Tommy! don't call her old”
“It's okay boy,he isn't wrong”the elderly woman laughed “he gave me a feeling boy,a feeling of sorrow in his dreams,so i called him boy”
“um,how?”
“the dolls boy,they speak to me,just look at that adorable face and tell me Uncle nasty is just a doll”
he stared at Uncle nasty,it looked…perturbed
“okay…that's great miss but we uh..don't need any nice dolls so thanks but-”
“B-But Tubbo,she said that it wards off nightmares!”Tommy shoved the doll closer to him
that was…definitely a scam,well…to be fair she could be telling the truth,from reading emotions,seeing the future or creating portals powers were very versatile
But a nightmare protecting a doll?
he sighed “how does it work?”
“well boy,you keep Uncle nasty with ya when you sleep and he’ll get rid of any nasty dreams,you just keep him happy and he’ll take care of ya”
“i'm not sure if he’ll be happy with us,we don't really have that…great of an apartment”he lamented
“well boy,Uncle nasty is content with little,he will keep you safe”
“Tubbo please,look at him! that's the face of a good doll”Tommy smiled nervously
this was too good to be true,but…Tommy was desperate for something to get rid of the nightmares,they all were
he sighed “how much is it?”
“its free boy”the woman answered
oh,well that made things easy
“oh,we’ll take him then,thanks”he smiled,the woman smiled back
“bye!”Tommy waved at the woman and began walking away,he followed him
“Alright we uh,we got Uncle nasty so now what?”
“we should go find Ranboo”Tommy suggested
“i’ll just call him”he pulled out his flip phone and called Ranboo,the phone rang for a few seconds until Ranboo answered
“Hello?”Ranboo asked
“Hey Ranboo,how you doing?”
“I already paid for the electricity,im going back to the entrance of the mall,meet me there”
“Okay,see ya”he hung up the phone “come on let's go to the entrance” Tommy nodded and began walking with him to the malls entrance
After a few minutes of walking they reached the entrance,he looked around and saw Ranboo,he began walking to him followed by Tommy
“Hey” Ranboo waved at them “lets- what's that?”Ranboo pointed at Uncle nasty
“It's Uncle nasty!”Tommy shoved the doll closer to Ranboo
“And…why do you have…Uncle nasty?”
“Nightmare warding doll,got him for free”he explained
“How-“
“Dont worry,Uncle nasty will deal with those nasty dreams of mine!”Tommy beamed
Ranboo looked at him,he shrugged
Ranboo sighed “well that's great,let's go home then yeah?”
Both him and Tommy nodded,the four of them walked to the alley the portal was made in,there,Ranboo made a portal leading back to their apartment,the four of them stepped through
Uncle nasty stared at them,perturbed
Later that night,the three of them went to bed,Tommy left Uncle nasty on the nightstand
the three of them slept soundly that night
Uncle nasty turned his head and watched them,he looked perturbed
Tubbo woke up to somebody shaking him by the shoulders,he opened his eyes and saw Tommy smiling
“Tubbo! I didn't have a nightmare!”Tommy beamed at him
he smiled “that's great,Uncle nasty is doing great then”
“yeah,let's get out of bed,i think Ranboo is cooking something”
“alright”
the two of them got out of the bed,Tommy turned to look at Uncle nasty
“oh,he turned his head to us”Tommy smiled
he what?
he turned to see Uncle nasty,he was looking towards the bed
that bitch moved?
“uhhh,thats great he was uhhhh…”he scrambled for a response “sucking the nasty”
“yeah!”Tommy turned back to the door and began walking out
okay….well,at least Tommy didn't have a nightmare this time
the second night of sleeping with Uncle nasty at the apartment,Tommy didn't have any nightmares
Tubbo felt like they were being watched
the third night,Tommy didn't have any nightmares again
Tubbo heard whispers around the room
run,they pleaded,take him away before he joins us
he ignored their pleads,surely it was just a dream?
the fourth night,Tubbo heard more whispers
run,they pleaded,run
this was…not a dream was it?
he noticed Ranboo wasn't in bed,better look for him
he got out of bed and walked to the kitchen,there he saw Ranboo holding a glass of water
“couldn't sleep?”he asked,Ranboo nodded and took another sip of water
“i…i might sound crazy but…did you um-”
“hear something? yeah”
“that's…not good”Ranboo placed his glass of water on the kitchens counter “lets get Tommy,i have a really bad feeling”
“so do i-”he was cut off as he heard their bedrooms door shut loudly,him and Ranboo looked at each other
Tommy must have woken up as well
they both looked at the kitchens entrance,someone walked into the kitchen
it wasn't Tommy
Uncle nasty stepped into the kitchen and stared at them
he pulled Ranboo behind him and stepped forwards “oh…um hey Uncle nasty”he waved at Uncle nasty
the doll was…not normal but it helped Tommy so surely he was nice?
Uncle nasty tilted his head to the side
“SAY UNCLE”Uncle nasty screamed before lunging at him,Uncle nasty landed on his face and began pulling his hair
he screamed and tried to pull him off,but Uncle nasty was strong
Ranboo ran towards him and helped him pull the doll off,after struggling for a few seconds they managed to throw Uncle nasty off his face and to the ground
Uncle nasty quickly crawled out of the kitchen and to the living room
“R-Ranboo what the hell do we do?”
“Pray?”
“Ranboo we’re atheists”
“Not after this we’re not”
“look lets..lets just fucking catch that thing”he ran after Uncle nasty,Ranboo followed him
once they arrived at the living room they saw Uncle nasty standing at the center of it,Uncle nasty looked at them
Uncle nastys head began shaking “SAY UNCLE”Uncle nasty screamed before running at them,Uncle nasty lunged for Ranboos head,before he could grapple onto it though he grabbed him and threw him on the ground
he stomped on Uncle nastys head,but Uncle nasty was unaffected,Uncle nasty threw him off balance,causing him to fall to the ground
Uncle nasty stood up and ran for his throat,he grappled onto it and began choking him
he tried to throw Uncle nasty off,but his grip was strong
Ranboo quickly tried to pull Uncle nasty off of him
“SAY UNCLE”Uncle nasty shouted,Ranboo managed to pry him off,Uncle nasty clawed at Ranboos arm,causing him to drop him
Uncle nasty ran back to the kitchen,he and Ranboo ran after him
once they entered the kitchen they saw Uncle nasty standing on the counter,he was holding a knife
oh fuck no
Uncle nastys head began shaking “SAY UNCLE” Uncle nasty lunged at Ranboo,before he reached him though he grabbed Uncle nasty out of the air and held him up
“RANBOO GET TOMMY WE NEED TO LEAVE!”
Ranboo nodded and began running to their bedroom
Uncle nasty swung the knife wildly at him,but he was too small to hit him
Uncle nasty slashed his arm with the knife
well,he definitely could reach that
he hissed in pain and dropped Uncle nasty,Uncle nasty lunged for his head
oh fucking hell
Uncle nasty tried to stab him but before he could he grabbed the knife,he struggled with Uncle nasty to take it but eventually he managed to take it off him
with the knife he stabbed Uncle nastys head,Uncle nasty fell to the ground
was he…dead?
Uncle nasty stood up and took the knife off of his head
welp,fuck
Uncle nasty lunged at him,he ducked before he reached him
alrigtht…fuck Ranboo should be here by now
he ran out of the kitchen and to where their bedrooms door was,there he saw Ranboo struggling with the door
“RANBOO COME ON I CAN'T DISTRACT THIS THING FOR TOO LONG”
“I'M TRYING BUT THIS THING IS LOCKED,I ALREADY TRIED MAKING A PORTAL INSIDE BUT IT DIDN'T WORK,THE DOLL-”Ranboo was cut off as he saw Uncle nasty lunge at them
before Uncle nasty reached them he grabbed him out of the air “Ranboo please get out of here with Tommy”Uncle nasty struggled on his grip
“Tubbo i can't-”
“PLEASE JUST”he slammed Uncle nasty on the wall “CUT THE DOOR IF YOU HAVE TOO”he grabbed the knife Uncle nasty was holding and passed it to Ranboo
Ranboo caught the knife“A-alright”Ranboo slammed into the door again,it didn't budge,Ranboo knelt down and began trying to cut into the bedroom
Uncle nasty kept struggling to get out of his grip,he began walking away from Ranboo
alright…where the hell can he lock this thing in
the bathroom!
he began walking to the bathroom,Uncle nasty began scratching at his arm
fuck that hurt,but he was almost there
he arrived at the bathroom and stepped inside,he quickly closed the door and locked it
“SAY UNCLE”Uncle nasty shouted as he escaped his grip

Uncle nasty lunged at his head and grappled onto it,he began struggling to get Uncle nasty off,but the damm doll was too strong
he slammed the part of his head Uncle nasty was grappled onto on the wall,Uncle nasty fell to the ground
he walked back and walked into the sink
Uncle nasty lunged at him,he ducked down before he grappled him
Uncle nasty shouted,a hissing sound could be heard coming from Uncle nasty
huh?
he stared at Uncle nasty and saw that a part of his body was charred
what?
Uncle nasty struggled to stand up,once he did he lunged for him again
he ducked again,Uncle nasty shouted and fell to the ground,he looked at Uncle nasty,more of his skin was charred
wait…
he turned around and saw their mirror
Did the mirror hurt him?
he immediately grabbed Uncle nasty off the floor and held him in front of the mirror,Uncle nasty began shouting and burning
“UNCLE UNCLE UNCLEEEEEEEEE”Uncle nasty shouted as he burned,he didn't listen though,he kept Uncle nasty up until he was nothing but ash
what was once Uncle nasty fell to the ground
was…was that it?
he wrapped a towel around the biggest wound on his arm and ran out of the bathroom,he needed to check on Ranboo and Tommy
he ran over to their bedroom,it looked like Ranboo didn't finish cutting it open,the door was open though
he ran inside and saw Ranboo pulling Tommy out of bed
“come on man we gotta go-”
“Ranboo what the hell-”
“sup”he said as he walked over to him
“oh thank god,quick”Ranboo began creating a portal in front of their bed
“wait no it's…okay”
“how is anything okay-”
he walked closer to Ranboo “i killed the doll”he whispered quietly
“wh-really?”Ranboo asked
“yeah”he nodded
“but it stabbed you”Ranboo whispered
“i took care of that too don't worry”
“What are you two talking about?”Tommy asked
“oh don't worry about it,let's just- wait you just woke up?”
“yeah,Ranboo woke me up like…one minute ago”
That would be…right when he killed Uncle nasty
He sighed “well let's go to bed yeah”
“Tubbo, are you sure? I mean”
“Don't worry Ranboo,it's fine”
“Whats fine?”Tommy asked
“Going to bed,there's no rats”he climbed up to the bed and layed down to Tommy's left,Ranboo got on the bed and lied down to Tommy's right
Ranboo wrapped his arms around the two of them
Almost immediately,Tommy fell asleep,Ranboo fell asleep soon after
He stayed awake for a bit longer,the threat was gone but he was still nervous,the wounds on his arm hurt a little but the towel should be enough to make sure it didn’t get infected or something
But eventually,he let himself fall asleep,they'd have to do something tomorrow, whatever the reason the doll came alive wasn't good
He wasn't sure about what they would do,but he was sure of one thing
He would protect his family
No matter what
