hold me close

Summary:

Sam had never held anyone so tenderly.

And Tina looked at him like he was her everything.

Notes:

Hey friends!

I haven't written in a longgggg time (no motivation, poor mental health or whatever...)
ANYWAYS

I'm back. Heh. So, I can't guarantee there will be any updates on my ongoing storied, but I'll definitely try to post some (better) one shots/drabbles.

This was just me writing from a different POV (from a third person way) because- I don't think I've ever really done that. So here we are. This isn't great, but let's ignore that.

Work Text:

Rachel sees it.

She'd taken a break from the dance from to get some water, but looking back, she saw more than she could've ever imagined.

The way they connect as they sway to the music, holding each other close. Sam never held anyone so tenderly.

He holds her close with such appreciation, taking in all the beauty he'd never really taken the time to admire before. The gentle smile, and the soft brown eyes looking back at him.

Tina looked at him like he was her everything.

It wasn't the kind of pairing Rachel had expected to see, and yet in some crazy way, it made sense. Seeing someone love Sam the way he deserved to be loved truly filled her with joy.

Captivated by such a rare off-screen romance, Rachel went back to Jesse, her now fiancé, and hugged him tight. Love existed almost everywhere. Some places, where you'd least expect it.

Souls that are meant to be always find each other. No matter what happened, she and Jesse always found each other again.

She briefly remembered how Tina loved the concept of fate. How some people are... meant to be, in the most unexpected ways. Maybe she'd ignored the real possibility that could be a real thing.

Maybe Tina was meant to be with Sam.

Just maybe
