Jimin came back home from work, very tired. He lived all alone, no one by his side. No one. He kept his bag on the couch and looked towards the window. There was his cat, sitting by the window licking it's paw.
He slowly walked towards it and stood near it. He caressed it's back and the cat purred leaning into his touch. Jimin smiled lightly as his mind drifted back to the time when he would always be greeted with a warm bone crushing hug from his best friend, a friend he had fallen in love with.

"Jungkook-ah! I am back." Jimin said throwing his bag on the couch and yawned. Today was very hectic for him. In no time, he was engulfed into a warm hug making him almost melt. He wrapped his arms around Jungkook and snuggled into him, enjoying the warmth.
"Welcome back home Jimini-ssi. I missed you. " He said smelling Jimin's hair. Jimin hummed and hugged him tighter.
"I am hungry." Jimin whispered making the other male smile.
"I'll set the tables. You go and fresh up." He said and sent him to the bedroom. They slept in a single room which had two beds. But sometimes Jimin woke up with a bunny beside him.
Jimin came out wearing a grey hoodie with a bunny on it, paired with a pair of black shorts. He saw Jungkook keeping the chopsticks on each plates while talking to someone on the phone.
"Yoongi hyung, you know that it's tonight or never. I don't know, just open up to him now. " He whinned over the call making Jimin smile.
" Kook? " Jimin said and sat on the chair. Jungkook gave him his bunny smile and sat beside him declining the call.
"What were you talking about to Yoongi hyung?" He asked as he started eating.
"He is confused whether to propose Hobi hyung or not. " Jungkook said chuckling. Jimin giggled and stared at Jungkook who was busy eating.
Feeling a stare on him, Jungkook turned and saw Jimin staring at him. He clicked his fingers at him and giggled. A bit of pink colour coated his cheeks on getting caught.
"Jimini-ssi. " Jungkook called out. Jimin looked at him and found him fiddling with his fingers.
"I have to go." He said in a low voice. Jimin nearly choked on air, feeling suddenly anxious.

That was the night when the heavens decided to take their son back. Unknown to him, Jimins's eyes teared up at the memory.
He saw his pet already asleep under the soft light of the setting sun. Before he became alone, he and Jungkook used to go to the terrace and watch the Sun disappear into the horizon of the earth.
Everything, every second reminded him of his beloved. He missed his warmth, his smile, his hugs, his everything. A teardrop fell out of his eye as he remembered what happened that fateful day.

Jimin was about to go to sleep after bidding a goodbye to Jungkook who had to leave for Busan for some important work. He had left around 8 pm and Jimin was already missing him.
Just as he was about to pull over the duvet, his phone rang up. He was irritated, who the heck is calling him at the middle of the night?
But he didn't see what storm was coming towards him. He picked up the call just to hear about something he dreaded the most.
Jungkook had gotten into a severe car accident. He didn't see a truck coming that way, without any head lights. And now, he was in the hospital fighting for his life.
Within half an hour, Jimin reached to the hospital he was admitted in and rushed to the floor he knew.
He saw Taehyung, Jin hyung , Namjoon hyung standing there near the operation theatre, tensed. He couldn't hold back his tears anymore and cried his heart out, while his soulmate held the crying boy in his arms.

Jimin came out of his reverie feeling a familiar scent spread in his room. He knew this scent. He only felt it when Jungkook was there with him. His mind filled with a hope that his bunny is not away. He is there only. His legs quivered as he searched around the house, looking for Jungkook.
Suddenly he felt warmth spreading through his body. It was Him!
Jimin turned around and found himself in the arms of his long lost love.
Tears escaped his eyes as he felt Jungkook's body all over him. He( Jimin) hugged him back and absorbed the warmth he needed.
"Jimini-ssi. " Jimin whimpered at the velvety smooth voice.
" Don't look for me outside, I am inside your heart, forever. Remember you are me, I am you" With that, Jimin felt the warmth decrease. Before he knew, Jungkook dissolved into thin air when his favourite chain with a purple heart glowed.

Jimin woke up in the morning and a smile spread on his face while tears filled up his eyes. His eyes fell the same chain tied around his neck believing that this had a precious part of his life in it. He placed a kiss on top of it and layed down hugging himself.
He felt the familiar warmth again and a giggle escaped his lips. Hugging himself meant hugging Jungkook. Jungkook never left him. He now understood that.
