Chapter 1: Welcome, Everyone

Chapter Text

Arle walked through the fields with Skeleton-T, Nasu Grave and Mummy tagging along. Though they weren’t planned to go to the ruins like she was, a situation like the one predicted that day  would need all the help they could get to solve. Along the way, she saw Draco holding a tambourine, playing a song for Suketoudara and Sukiyapodes to dance to. Arle waved to the group to get their attention, earning a wave in return when Draco pointed her and the group out.

The two groups went on together through the field when they heard a familiar sound, well, three actually. Looking for the source of the noise, they found Harpy, singing her heart out, Panotty playing the flute, and Zombie playing the guitar in front of Sasoriman and Witch. It must have been a calmer day for Harpy, as her singing wasn’t nearly as eargrading as it normally was, or maybe she was trying to calm herself for what was to come. Draco soon joined in with her tambourine, and Suketoudara butted in with a dance, catching the attention of the band and audience.

After the concert was over, the groups went on, much livelier than before due to the music as they danced their way to the ruins where they found Zoh Daimon and Minotauros playing cards. The music quickly caught their attention, and the two abandoned their game to catch up with the group. Arle meanwhile, went over to Schezo and Rulue, who were also playing cards. Arle just bent over to them, catching their attention. The two stood up, smiling at the sorceress before turning to face the sky, frowning, waiting for what was to come.

Meanwhile at Primp Magic School, classes had just wrapped up for the day and Amitie was walking with Raffina. Normally this would entail the girls to meet with their other classmates to help Amitie hit the books to become a wonderful magic user, but that day wasn’t the day for studying.

“Now that was in poor taste.” Raffina said. “Refusing to assist when a puyo storm will take place, and having the nerve to make us stay after class just to fight her! The nerve of Mrs. Accord.”

“Well at least we got these cool rings for it.” Amitie said, holding up her hand to show a small golden ring with Primp’s wing symbol on it. Raffina had a similar one on her hand, but hers was silver. “Besides, remember what you said. ‘We proper ladies never lose our composure. Calmly, cooly, always a step ahead of the game.’” She said mimicking Raffina’s tone of voice.

“Oh, la ti da.” Raffina laughed sarcastically.

Just then a boom of thunder was heard near town square, and the girls ran over to meet their friends, who were waiting for them.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At another school, a similar crisis was happening. Puyos were falling like rain left and right, bouncing around the school yard. Observing the chaos from the school roof was the Suzuran Junior High Physics Club, as well as their associate, Ecolo.

“Looks like you were right Ecolo.” Ringo said. “Those rainbow jellies came just like you predicted.”

“Obviously.” Ecolo said proudly. “Never expected it, but have fun playing with those things.”

“Fun? Ecolo, this is serious. You know this could flood Suzuran, remember?”

“Eh? You don’t really think that do you? Oh wait, is this about the time that I-” But before the blob could finish his sentence, he felt a sudden pain in his head. It felt like someone was crawling into him.

“Ecolo?” Ringo said, snapping her fingers. “Earth to Ecolo.”

Thinking quickly, Ecolo pulled a pie out of thin air and shoved it  into Ringo’s face. “ACTUALLY I NEED TO GO DO SOMETHING NOW BYE!”

“Wha-Ecolo!” Ringo shoughted only to stop when Maguro placed a hand on her shoulder.

“Ringo, it’s ready.⭐” He said, pointing back to Risukuma who was looking over what looked to be a normal math book, except for the fact that the illustration on the cover was glowing with a mysterious light’s power.

Ringo just sighed. “Well, at any rate…” she said as she joined Maguro and Risukuma in a circle around the book. Once the three were in place, they all held their hands over the book, causing it to float up to where their hands were. Then, in a flash of light, they jumped into the fray, now wearing different outfits, with Risukuma and Maguro wearing different suits while Ringo looked like an idol. “We have a town to save.” Ringo said before taking the book and slamming it onto the head of a puyo, making it burst. Risukuma gathered some into a bag while destroying others with hot tea or his serving tray, and Maguro used his kendama to gather them up and squeeze them till they popped or throw them into the air for Ringo to use her electric magic on them. “Calculus!” Ringo said, flailing her arms as she ran into the puyos leaving flowers in her track.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In yet another school, Tetra Prep, the student council president, Tee, was writing a letter to the school principal, and his guardian, Ex.

Dear Ex,

Things have been pretty quiet at school lately. Other than the occasional prank from the twins, the council hasn’t had much to do. We did meet an interesting group from out of town a while ago though. They were all really nice and I’ve started hanging out with time in my free time. Sorry I can’t tell you anything of note though.

From, Tee.

The young man then handed the letter over to O, who flew off to give it to Ex. Tee just sighed. He really wished he had more to work on these days, but since the day the cafeteria was flooded with tetriminos, Ex has decided to take a more active role in the lives of the students in case of another attack. A while after his sulking though, O came in, signaled with a large “PIIIIIII”

“What is it, O?” Tee asked.

“Pipipi-pi pi pipi pi-pipi pi pipi-pi.”

“Suzuran is being flooded by puyos?” Tee exclaimed.

“Pi-pi.”

“Alright, I’ll be there right away.” He said, grabbing his disk and rushing out to get to Suzuran, (though it was more of a speed walk to avoid encountering the disciplinary committee head).

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a distant field, a young girl walks along a dirt road when she hears the sound of a puyo storm in the distance. “Oh my.” Ally said. “Another puyo storm! We need to stop it, right Rafisol?” the girl said, holding up her pendant. In an instant, a girl who looked nearly identical to her except with different colors and sharper edges appeared from the pendant.

“I shall seize them all, Ally.” the girl from the pendant said, taking Ally by the wrist and flying off to the source of the rain.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Soon enough, the girls were at the ruins, watching the army assembled destroying puyos left and right. In the frey was a girl Ally had recognised, Arle.

“Fire! Ice storm!” she said, attacking any puyo who got close to her, not noticing the shadow above her head.

Taking notice of this, Schezo screamed, “LOOK OUT!” Arle looked up to see a giant storm of puyo about to crush her, but before they could hit the ground…

“Brave Heart!” Ally shoughted, blasting the giant puyo into stardust.

With their presence known, the girls joined the fray.

“Emission! Melody Scale!” Ally shoughted.

“Hide! Snatch!” Rafisol said.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Flame! Cyclone!” Amitie said, her second spell making the puyo fly into Raffine.

“Fort! Neige!” She said as she punched and kicked the puyo.

“Acid. Cyan.” Sig said, as his blue magic washed the puyo away.

“Vento!”Lidelle makes the puyo fly into the air.

“Crater!” Klug blasts any puyo that Lidelle’s last spell didn’t destroy.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Sine! Cosine” Ringo blasts puyos with her electricity.

“Swing-In! Lightning Drop!” Maguro hits the puyos with his kendama.

“Tenderness! Infatuation” Risukuma uses the things in the tea to create a blast of fire before hitting some puyo overhead with his sack.

After those spectacles though, the magic had worn off, and the magical outfits had disappeared. “Ah, SON OF A DIGIT!” Ringo shoughted as more puyo began to fall.

“Hold!” a voice from the distance said. The group then noticed a giant puyo over Ringo’s head suspended in the air. As suspected, the one who had saved Ringo was Tee, who pointed a finger at the giant puyo and said, “Spin Attack!” shooting several stars that orbited each other at the puyo, destroying it. “Mind if I join in?” Tee asked.

Maguro destroyed a few more puyos before turning to Tee and saying, “Nope.⭐”

Tee then jumped to Ringo's side and the two fought the puyos back to back. “I thought you said you’d take the week to relax.” Ringo said as she began to hit the puyos with the book.

“It got boring, okay.” Tee said, kicking several puyo before throwing his disk at them. “Besides, when I heard that a puyo storm was happening I thought you’d need some help, and it looks like I was right.”

“Well you’re off the hook tonight Mr. Smart guy. But next time I catch you working on a relax day, I will send the twins and Ai after you.”

“Fine.” Tee said.

Just after the conversation, a refined voice said, “Beautiful!” and a large wave of energy ran over many puyo.

Afterward, a voice sounding like it came from a young girl said, “Double Mischief!” and a voice that sounded like a young boy said, “Symmetry Strike.” As several puyo were punched and blasted.

Speak of the devils, Jay, Elle and Ai were here. Ai took Tee by the wrist and jumped onto a window cill. “Now Tee, you must know that we only drag you into relaxing so you don’t overexert yourself and pass out on the floor. You can’t perform your duties if you’re not in the condition to do so.” Ai said before tossing several bombs onto the field and saying “Gorgeous.”

“That’s what I told him.” Ringo said as the bombs exploded on impact, blowing up many puyo in the process.

No more than a second later did a girl with a parasol and a large robot jump in. The parasol girl hit a few puyo in the head before grabbing two  capsule-like objects from a space inside the parasol.

“Eyelashes!” She said, creating a circle that made a gust of wind. She then turned around and said “Lipstick!” firing a small projectile that hit a puyo that was about to hit the bot with her.

The robot in question pulled out some lettuce and said “Vitamins!” as he knocked the puyos on the head.

“Hi Ess.⭐ Hi Zed⭐” Maguro said, jumping toward them. “You come to help end the puyo rain too?”

Ess rolled her eyes. “Don’t get your hopes up. I’m only here because Mr. I'm-So-Boring-I-Make-Glue-Look-Exciting just ran off again without warning!” she yelled pointing at Tee. “And you’re supposed to be our president huh?”

“Hey! I couldn’t just stand by and let the puyo rain bury Suzuran! I had to get here as soon as possible.” Tee said.

“No offense Tee, but concerning last month, I believe you have lost the right to talk about what you “have” to do.” Ai remarked, making Tee groan.

“You’re never gonna let me live that down, will you.”

Ai hummed. “No Tee, I don’t think I will.”

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hours have passed since the puyo rain began in the field. There were no more puyo coming from the sky, but the amount of puyo who had come since were overwhelming for the small army gathered by Satan.

Witch huffed and she haphazardly swung her broom at some nearby puyo. “This.” huf “Is.” huf “Getting.” huf “Us.” huf “Nowhere.” she said, almost getting crushed by a big puyo that Draco used her fire breath on.

“Tell me about it.” Draco said, punching a puyo that tried to jump on her before catching Harpy, who landed near her exhausted.

“Never thought I’d say this but I’m getting tired of singing.” the angel looking girl said.

“Wait, I have an idea.” Witch said, taking off her hat and rummaging for it, leaving Draco to make sure no puyo got on either of the girls. “Behold!” she said, holding out a potion.

“What is that?” Harpy asked.

“Just something that increases how far your magic spreads.” Witch explained.

“Couldn’t you make a potion that gives us unlimited endurance or something?” Draco said.

“Just give it to Arle and have her use that flower thing in the air.” Witch said, handing the potion to the girls, who shrugged before flying over to Arle and pulling her into the sky.

“Hey, what gives you two?” Arle asked.

“Witch has some weird plan.” Draco said as Harpy gave Arle the potion.

“She wants you to drink this and use the flowery spell.” Harpy explained.

Skeptical, but wanting the fight to end soon, Arle drank the potion, aimed for the ground, and said, “BAYOEN!” shooting flowers everywhere. The army was able to leave just in time, as the puyos were stuck in place.

With the puyo stuck, the army made quick work of them, using their strongest attacks to whip them out.

“Shade Green Tea!” Skeleton T rushes forward, tea held out and leaves surrounding him.

“You fool!” Nasu Grave bounces on the puyos.

Mummy wraps their bandages around them.

Draco and Harpy set Arle under a tree to let her rest for a bit.

“Inferno!” Draco twipes her claws, sending an inferno to the puyos.

“Dancin’ All Night!” Suketoudara dances so fast that the puyos became dizzy.

Sukiya Podes smashes the puyos with his foot.

“Have an encore!” Harpy sings so loud that it causes the puyos pain.

Sasori Man skewers the puyos with his trident.

Panotty plays his flute, forcing the puyos to dance.

Zombie smashes the puyos with his fists.

“Supernova!” Witch enchants her broom with the star’s power and smacks the puyos.

“Great Fury!” Zoh Daimon rages through the ruins, crushing the puyos under his feet.

“Areiado Special” Schezo unleashes a laser of darkness through his sword.

“Strike!” Minotauros strikes the puyos with his ax.

“Fighting Queen!” Rulue creates an explosion of pure power through her fan.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Vis Attrahendi!” Klug unleashes an onslaught of stars from his book, destroying any puyo hit and leaving the rest immobile.

Lidelle kicked many puyo into the air. “Arcobaleno!” she shouted, creating a storm cloud which they would remain trapped in. As she stood there, lightning began to strike more puyo, though Lidelle made sure that none of her friends were hit too.

“Hydrangea!” Sig’s red eye and red hand began to glow as a ball of purple magic formed in his hands. He crushed the ball, forming an explosion that engulfed the puyo around him.

Raffina gathered as many puyo as she could with her foot. “Ciel Arc” she yelled, kicking the puyo over to Amitie.

As the puyo flew to the girl, Lidelle finished her spell, clearing the sky and forming a rainbow as she pulled her arms down.

“Fairy Fair!” a pillar of light formed around Amitie, just as the puyo were about to hit her. The pillar also blew Amitie high into the air. The young magician looked over the handy work of her and her friends, satisfied that there were no more puyo in sight.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At Suzuran, the puyo bounced on the ground, and the group had joined Ai and Tee at the ledge for the moment.

Suddenly, the twins jumped behind the crowd, causing them to look at the two curiously. Of course, curiosity kills cats, and the same can be said for the puyos.

The twins gave the creatures mischievous grins before waving their hands at them and saying, “Ultimate Illusion!”, creating a light that left them to hallucinate.

With the puyo incompasitated, the rest of the group got back to work.

“Healthy Living!” Zed gives himself and the others a boost in power.

“Devotion!” Risukuma creates two circles with his paws, which form large explosions once completed.

“Dazzling!” Ai holds out his plum bombs, which wave back and forth as if meant to hypnotise someone. They don't though. Rather they also blast away the puyo.

“Deluxe Spa Package!” Ess creates a bomb in front of herself, which she hits onto the field using her parasol. On impact, the ball explodes, leaving a sparking white liquid all over the place.

“Backhand Slip Grip Special!” Maguro stands in the middle of the field, his kendama on his head and the ball spinning around, destroying puyo from all sides until the ball lands on the hammer’s point.

“Burst!” Tee shoots his charged up disk across the field.

Ringo noticed that her book was at full charge again. She transforms back into her idol-like dress and lands on the ground. “Permutation!” She shoughts, running all over the  place, steamrolling puyo with her feet and hands leaving flowers and stars in her wake before a large puyo bounces onto the ground. It was about to bounce on someone, but Ringo ran up to it with her book in hand and jumped high into the air. “Integral!” She shoughts, hitting the beast over the head in a starry and sweet scented explosion.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Love’s light!” Ally spins around and creates an explosion of starlight and hearts.

“Disorded.” Rafisol makes a tornado, and then an explosion of darkness, destroying all remaining puyo in the area.

It’s at this time that Arle is done resting, and she is met by Rulue and Schezo, as well as a cheering crowd.

“The day is ours!” Schezo proclaimed proudly.

“I’m honestly surprised you managed for so long.” Rulue said.

Schezo huffed. “And just what is so surprising about it?” the dark mage asked accusingly.

Just then, a figure came down from above. The figure was a man with demonic features, floating down with his wings with a yellow, rabbit-like creature in his arms.

“Carby!” Arle cheered as she held out her arms for Carbuncle to jump into. The little yellow creature did just that, jumping out of the man’s arms to hug his companion.

The man inquisition was the one who had called everyone to the place from the beginning, the Dark Prince Satan. The prince gave a laugh and said, “Well done Arley, and the rest of you too.” he said.

Witch ran up to him. “Wasn’t my plan the most amazing thing you’ve ever seen!” Witch said boastingly.

Rulue also jumped in front of Satan. “And wasn’t my technique absolutely divine, my prince?”

“Yes, you two were quite impressive.” Satan said.

The girls turned over to Arle, with Rulue fanning herself and Witch sticking out her tongue and pulling down an eyelid, earning them both eye rolls from the young sorceress.

“Now, let’s get you all home before people start worrying.” the Dark Prince said, snapping his fingers. In an instant, the people who he called upon were surrounded by light, about to be transported to wherever they came from.

Rafisol was about to take Ally’s hand and take her home when Arle called out for them.

“Hey Ally! Rafisol!” she said, grabbing the attention of the girls. “Me and the group were going to the Tower of Tsu tomorrow, wanna come?” she asked.

“Ah, okay! Sure!” Ally said excitedly. “See you tomorrow!” she continued, waving goodbye. Rafisol copied the motion, and Arle and Carbuncle did the same before being taken to Magic Town. With this, Rafisol took off, taking Ally back to Grimp.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A similar event happened at Suzuran, this time with Ex coming with O.

“Headmaster Ex!” Tee said surprised.

Ex chuckled. “You know you can call me dad by now, right?”

“I’m still getting used to my new living arrangements, okay.”

“Easy now. Anyways, let’s get back to the dorms. You all must be tired after such a heated battle. ESPECIALLY considering that tetris attack from a week ago.” The headmaster said, making the group feel guilty for not telling him where they were, even if they were in a hurry.

“Apologies, sir.” Ai said.

“It’s alright. Just tell me when you try something reckless next time.” Ex said. “Anyways, let’s go home. You can all play with your friends tomorrow.”

“Well, see you tomorrow.” Tee said, hugging Ringo before going back with his guardian.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amitie landed in the arms of Raffina. The rest of the group came around the girls and they all high-fived each other.

“Well that went faster than expected.” Raffine said, placing Amitie onto her feet and dusting off her hands. “No thanks to Accord.” she said bitterly.

“You know you really shouldn’t talk about our teacher like that, who knows what she’ll do if she catches you talking like that about her.” Klug said smugly.

“Is that a threat four-eyes?” Raffina said, getting into Klug’s face.

“Hey, please don’t fight!” Amitie said, breaking the two up. “Besides, Accord isn’t that bad. Sure she’s a little...off, but I’m sure she still cares about us.”

“Agree to disagree.” Raffina said, folding your arms. “Anyway, you said you wanted to find a new outfit for a performance in a few days, right?”

“Yep!” Amitie said excitedly. She loved using her magic to entertain people, and now that she had a new routine, she was more than excited to show it off. Normally she just did it in her normal clothes, but after Raffina got her a time slot to perform at an open theater a little out of town, she wanted to look as official as possible, and that meant getting something to perform in.

“Well obviously given your lack of actual style…”

“Hey!”

“I will help you find something decent. We can even do it tomorrow. Maybe with everyone’s input you’ll get an actual fashion sense. Oh la-ti-da!”

“Well if you don’t think I can choose something nice on my own, then maybe I won’t let you help.”

“Hey, I never said that!”

“You said other mean things.”

Raffina growled. “Fine, I’m sorry I said that. Let’s just go to my place already.”

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arle and Carbuncle soon arrived in Magic Town where they saw a familiar girl with blond hair held in a ponytail standing under a nearby tree.

“Lala!” Arle said, happy to see the girl.

The blond girl looked over at Arle, and developed a bitter expression. “Oh, hi Arle.” she said, barely hiding the bitterness in her voice.

Arle sighed, knowing it would be one of those days with her former classmate. “What is it this time?”

“Oh, you know what’s wrong. The fact that YOU were chosen to stop the puyo rain by that demon prince guy and not ME!”

“You could have come anyways? A couple others did.”

“THAT’S NOT THE POINT! IT ISN’T FAIR! I’VE ALWAYS HAD BETTER GRADES THAN YOU AND YOU’RE THE ONE WHO GETS CHOSEN FOR THESE BIG QUESTS BUT I’M NEVER CHOSEN!”

“Well Satan can be a bit biased toward me, so that’s probably why. Look, I don’t feel like fighting anyone else tonight so I’m going back home. You can come hang out if you want. It will be like kindergarten again.”

Lala just huffed and left.

Arle sighed. She didn’t understand why Lala was like that with her, especially since years after they finished kindergarten. Maybe Lala was still bitter about not being able to take the exam leaving her to be the only person to graduate, or maybe it was about them losing contact some time ago. Either way, it was getting late and Arle was hungry so she brushed those thoughts aside and went home.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later at night, when everyone was resting in their beds, a meeting of sorts was assembled in the main office of Tetra Prep. Among those there were Ex, Accord, the disciplinary committee head, Squares, and the head of Tetra Prep’s school board, Marle.

“So, your plan didn’t work.” Marle said to Accord, disappointed.

“No, and I was so sure that it would have worked.” said the teacher.

“Why’s that?” Ex asked, curiously.

“It always does in the books I read with this kind of plot.”

“Well life isn’t always like in books, is it meow?” Popoi remarked.

“I still can’t believe I let something like this happen.” Squares said, his face in his palm.

“Hey, it will be alright Squares.” Marle said, putting a hand on Square’s shoulder to comfort him before turning her attention to the rest of the group. “In any case, we need to come up with a new plan, with or without their help.”

Just then, a small green, fox-like creature fell from the ceiling and onto the table. The creature jumped off the table gracefully before going to the door and letting itself out.

Marle shook the moment off. “Let's try to ignore that. We need to see this through, no matter what. Or else, who knows what will happen to the worlds.”

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Watching the meeting from above was a woman in a loose gown which obscured her figure. The woman, Minna Dee, frowned as she watched the group make their plans. “They just won’t give up, will they?” she said before turning around to face Ecolo, who was struggling in a strange purple aura. “Neither do you hu? Well I guess you can’t win them all.” she continued, walking closer to the blobby being. She took a second to look him over. “I’m not sure what to do with your current look. Do you happen to have any other forms?” she asked.

No sooner had she done so though had she noticed the sky of her little pocket world begin to crack. She watched as a chunk of it shattered and from it came the Spacetime Detective Agence. Roquier held up his badge. “Freeze!” he shoughted. “We’re the Spacetime Detective Agency, and we know what you’ve done to the worlds.”

“Just undo your chaos and we’ll go easy on you.” Seo said.

“Yeah.” said Atari as she readied to punch the fiend.

Minna just leaned over to face the detectives. “I don’t think you understand what I’m trying to do here, detectives.” she begins to float around them. “If any of you knew what was going on, you wouldn’t be here. I’m certain you don’t even know who I am, especially considering how fast you came here. But since you came all this way, I’ll go ahead and-”

“Enough talk!” said Atari. “If you won’t bring everything back to normal, I’ll just have to make you!”

“Atari! Wait!” Roquier shoughted as Atari lunged at Minna, ready to punch her in the face. Before she could make an impact though, Atari’s body was surrounded by a purple light, the same as the one containing Ecolo.

Atari struggled in Minna Dee’s grasp while the woman herself just looked at the others disapprovingly. “Let Atari go.” Roquier demanded. “If not, we’ll have to use excessive force.” he said.

Minna just sighed. “Another person who won’t listen huh? How about I show you two what happens when you defy me instead?”

Minna enclosed her fist and lightning emitted from the aura. Atari screamed in pain, eyes wide in horror. Seo looked away but Roquier couldn’t take his eyes off it until a final flash of light appeared. When the two looked back, Atari was wearing a frilly purple dress, jacket, and ribbon. All together she looked like a doll. The rookie detective gently floated to the ground, landing on her feet gracefully.

“Atari. Are you alright?” Roquier asked.

Atari’s head spun around instantly. “Oh, hi guys. You’re here early.”

“What do you mean?” Seo asked, confused. Just then, a new area began to form around their feet, and walls began to form around them. Roquier tried to run, but the walls appeared before he could escape. The last thing he saw before the roof came over the box they were trapped in was Minna smiling down at him, waving.

The next thing they knew, the box sprung to life with furniture and rooms, turning into what could be described as a cross between a modern Japanese apartment, and a doll house.

Atari seemed unbothered by this, almost like it was completely normal. “Silly Seo, you promised to come over and help me make some onigiri, remember? Well since you’re here let’s just get on with it okay?” she said in an unnaturally sweet tone. Roquier just stared at his junior uncomfortably, unable to look away from the shadow of the reckless new recrute he had come to know.

As this was happening, Seo was about to type into one of her screens to call back up when suddenly, she felt a shock go through her body, the same kind used on Atari. Roquier jumped back in horror only for Atari to cling to his arm. She giggled sweetly. “Anyways, I hope it wasn’t much trouble coming here, puyo rain and all…” Whatever else she said afterward was lost on Roquier, who noticed a strange thing spread onto the arm grabbed by Atari. It looked like a goop, but he didn’t feel anything but Atari’s powerful grip. The thing that shocked him the most however was the color of the thing; purple. The exact same color of Minna’s magic. Spotting a door, Roquier tried to make a run for it, but Atari’s grip held him in place. Thinking quickly, he reached into his coat and pulled out one of the 7 Detective Tools; A can of soda. He shook it up and blasted the contents into Atari’s face.

“Agh!” Atari said, moving back in retaliation. Without hesitation, Roquier bolted to the door. “Why’d you do tha-” Atari stopped once she knew that Roquier was gone. “Where did he go?” she asked Seo, who was now in a stylish white dress.

“Hmm, not sure.” Seo said. “We better find him so we can start.”

“Why wait. If he wants to leave us then we’ll just have the onigiri for ourselves.” Atari said, marching into the kitchen.

Seo’s stomach rumbled a little. “Alright.” she said.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With Minna, Ecolo had escaped her grasp and the two began to fight. “Liar.” Ecolo said, several fireballs coming from his blobby finger. Minna was pushed back by this and she caught a glimpse of what had happened.

“Drat.” she said before turning to Ecolo.

“See lady. I won’t let you keep Ringie under control like this, even if what you’re doing does seem fun.” he said, a ball of energy forming in his hands.
