Sara Chidouin was a highschool freshman at the time. Her best friend was Joe Tazuna. The first time they spent outside of school was at a park.
The both of them were enjoying their time until they saw an ice cream truck pull up into the park.
Sara and Joe waited for the person in the ice cream truck to scoop up their sweet treats, but were approached by a young girl and her sister.
Joe talked to them about something Sara forgot. They learned their names as Kanna and Kugie Kizuchi.
Sara remembered Kanna saying she had an older brother who didn't live with them.
