After boarding Gokai Galeon and leaving the now barren planet with a new crew member in the ship, Marvelous shows Joe where he can find the bathroom, kitchen, and his cabin. Yep, right in that order. Because despite the Gokai Galeon engine room is quite interesting by itself, Marvelous doubts that Joe has any interest on that right now.
Marvelous provides Joe clothes from his own and lets Joe be, surely to shrub all the dirt and blood cake from his body clean. Then, if Joe lets him, he wants to check for wounds because being chased by Zangyack's soldier by days and nights meaning you don't get your wound checked properly.
Later, because it can't be too soon, they'll get food from somewhere. Marvelous counts Joe to be knocked out for some time because surely that body needs to recharge and gets its missing resting hours. So this can wait.
What Marvelous didn't expect is finding Joe resting on the sofa of common room. Wrapped in Marvelous' clothes with hairs haven't been dried properly. His sword is kept close--at arm reach.
Still his face, Marvelous kinda notices how handsome his new crew member is--he's kinda easy on the eyes, shows the expression of serenity. Thatta feat that's not easy to come for a soldier who finds himself on an unknown territory. Being aware of the surrounding and has to be kept alert at all times. That's just how it is.
So seeing Joe like this... Marvelous' heart swells upon the newfound trust.
Smiling, he fetches a blanket to cover the resting soldier. Wondering what kind of person he has asked out out of adrenaline rush and impulsive habit.
Joe slept for three days and Marvelous was this close to find them a doctor because how would he tell if this new member was in a comma or not.
Thankfully Joe woke up on the third day and asked for food, to which Marvelous joyously provided by a space delivery service.
