"Come on, Friend" Tubbo begged while putting a handful of hay in the sheep's face "Eat these..."
The sheep made no response, other than shifting his legs under him.
Surrounded by flowers, Friend laid his head against the cool, green, grass. His blue wool swayed slightly against a small breeze.
Tubbo sat down and looked behind him to see Tommy and Ranboo.
"It's no use, he won't eat anything..." Tubbo looked back at the sheep, his next words slowly spoken "And it's been a week since Ghostbur..."
Died? They all knew. They all knew the heartbreaking truth of their ghost friend, already considered dead, dying at the hands of Dream. Tommy witnessed the horror himself.
Tommy sat crisscrossed while he watched Ranboo move closer to Friend and pick up his leash.
"Maybe he'd cheer up if he walked around?" Ranboo lightly tugged on the leash around the sheep's neck. "Friend, you wanna go?" His attempts were for nothing. The sheep stayed on the ground, laying on the bed of flowers with a variety of orange and pink. Ranboo drops the rope in defeat and sighs while walking back over to Tommy.
"He doesn't even move..." Tubbo started, laying the hay down and bringing up his knees to his chest. "At this rate, he too would probably..."
Tommy knows exactly what Tubbo means without having to finish the sentence. He hates it. To have Friend suffer the same fate as Ghostbur did.
Something bubbles in Tommy and before he properly thinks about it, he grabs two blue cornflowers next to him, and some grass by accident.
"Friend!" Tommy yelps, now standing tall. "Don't be sad, dammit. Have some Blue!"
Tommy opens his hand, releasing everything and Friend watched as it fell in front of him.
"I can't lose you too" Tommy sniffed and surely, tears started to form in his eyes. By the time he started talking again, they were falling "you have to survive" he sobbed.
Freind looked up at him before placing his head against the grass again.
...Fine. That was his choice. Not Tommy's. Tommy tried, and the stubborn sheep did what he does best these days. Ignore him.
Tommy turned, but before he walked away he caught something in the corner of his eye and looked back at Friend. The sheep was... eating the flowers. A small gasp came from someone behind him and Tommy kneeled to Friend.
"Thank you, Friend." He said with tears dripping down his cheeks by the second "I know," the two came close and Tommy pressed his body against the blue wool, pulling Friend closer with his arms into a tight embrace.
"I miss him too"
